Chapter 63 – First time
Isabelle Reinhart.
The office was slowly winding down as the evening sun cast a warm glow through the windows. I sat at my desk, my fingers idly tapping on the keyboard as I pretended to focus on my work.
It was the evening of the third day since Ace had left for his business trip, and I found myself growing increasingly miserable as tomorrow marked his expected return.
I stared at the calendar on my desk, the number '1' circled in red indicating that tomorrow was the day he was supposed to be back. A mix of excitement and impatience churned within me, making it difficult to concentrate on anything else.
I picked up my phone, checking it for the umpteenth time that hour, hoping for a message or call from him. But there was nothing, and a sigh escaped my lips as I set the device back down.
I knew he was busy with his meetings and preparations to return, but the absence of his messages made the wait feel even more agonizing. The fact that he was just one day away made the anticipation almost unbearable.
Glancing at the clock, it was almost 6, and my office hours were finally over. I gathered my belongings and turned off my computer, feeling restlessness.
Walking out of the office building, I felt a gentle breeze against my skin, cooling the warmth of the summer evening. The city lights were beginning to flicker to life as the sun dipped below the horizon. My footsteps echoed as I headed toward the subway station.
Suddenly, a voice called out my name. I turned around, my heart quickening as I recognized Daniel standing there. My breath caught in my throat, a mixture of surprise and annoyance washing over me. Ignoring him, I quickened my pace, hoping to escape any confrontation.
But he caught up to me. "Isabelle, just listen," he implored, his voice soft but earnest.
My jaw tightened, and I continued walking, my gaze fixed straight ahead. "I don't listen to guys who roof my drinks," I retorted coldly, my voice laced with the bitterness that had been growing inside me for months.
He was supposed to be a friend.
He kept up with my pace, standing in front of me and blocking my path. Frustration welled up within me, but after a resigned sigh, I turned to face him, my arms crossed defensively.
"Please, all I'm asking for is your 10 minutes," he pleaded, his expression desperate.
With a reluctant nod, I agreed to hear him out. “Ten minutes.”
He motioned toward a nearby coffee shop, and I followed him inside. We found a corner table, from which I could still see my office building through the glass door.
The scent of coffee and soft conversations around me added to the awkwardness of our situation.
Taking a deep breath, Daniel met my gaze, his eyes filled with remorse. "Isabelle, I want to sincerely apologize for what happened that night. I made a terrible mistake, and I'm ashamed of my actions. There’s not a single day that goes by when I don’t regret it."
I watched him carefully, searching for any sign of sincerity. He seemed genuine, but my guard remained up. "Apology accepted, Daniel, but that doesn't change anything."
He nodded, his expression somber. "I understand. I just wanted to get it off my chest. You meant a lot to me, Belle."
I leaned back in my chair, arms crossed. "That's good to hear. But as I said, it doesn't change anything."
He sighed, his gaze dropping to the table. "I know I can't undo what I did. I just hope that someday you can find it in your heart to forgive me."
His words tugged at something within me, but I remained cautious. Forgiveness was a complex emotion, and I wasn't ready to fully embrace it.
Although I did soften my expressions. I wasn’t the kind of person to hold grudges. "I appreciate your apology, Daniel. But I need time to process everything."
He nodded, his eyes meeting mine once more. "I understand. Thank you for at least giving me a chance to apologize."
Although I’d genuinely forgiven him from my heart, letting him in again would be something I wouldn’t be doing even if given a second life.
The waiter arrived with a tray of steaming coffees, and I mustered a small smile in his direction as he carefully set the cups down before us. The rich aroma of the coffee filled the air, a small comfort in the midst of the tension that had settled in the coffee shop. I took a cautious sip, letting the warmth wash over me as I tried to focus on something other than the unease gripping me.
As Daniel engaged in polite conversation, his words hanging in the air like a thin veil, I found myself answering his questions with cautious restraint. I was acutely aware of the past that tied us together, the memories that still haunted me from and the what ifs that still crossed my mind.
In the midst of our stilted conversation, his hand suddenly landed on mine atop the table. My immediate impulse was to retract my hand, but before I could react, a voice rang out, slicing through the strained atmosphere. "Get your fucking hands off of her."
My heart jolted in my chest, and my gaze snapped toward the source of the voice. There stood Ace, his eyes like dark storm clouds as they bore into Daniel. A mixture of shock and anxiety coursed through me, and I slowly rose from my seat, my body tensing as I tried to process the abrupt shift in the situation.
I walked towards him, "Ace, let's go home," I implored, stepping toward him instinctively, hoping to defuse the situation before it escalated any further. But his attention was solely fixed on Daniel, his expression a mixture of anger and disdain.
“I see you near her once more and you’re dead,” Ace's words were a low growl, his tone laced with danger. The threat in his voice was unmistakable, and a shiver ran down my spine at the intensity of his anger.
I reached out to touch his arm, an attempt to pull him away from the confrontation, but his gaze remained locked onto Daniel, his stance unwavering.
Finally, Ace took a step back, his gaze still icy as he turned away from Daniel. He began to walk toward the exit, leaving a charged silence in his wake.
I hurriedly followed Ace out of the coffee shop, my heart pounding in my chest. The city lights cast a surreal glow on the sidewalk, and my steps quickened to catch up with him. He was already seated in the car, his grip on the steering wheel tight, the subtle tremor of his fingers betraying his inner turmoil.
I slid into the passenger's seat, fastening my seatbelt as a heavy silence settled between us. My mind raced, searching for the right words to bridge the gap between what he had witnessed and the truth.
"Ace, just let me explain," I began, my voice soft and earnest, an attempt to unravel the tangled web of emotions.
"Save it, Isabelle," he interrupted, his tone curt and unyielding. His gaze remained focused on the road ahead as he started the engine, the low rumble filling the space between us. The car moved forward, the city lights streaking past us in a blur.
I glanced at Ace, his jaw set in a firm line, his emotions veiled behind a wall of stoicism. I turned my gaze back to the passing scenery, my mind running with a million thoughts.
I didn’t know where he was driving me but that was the least of my concerns at the moment. I knew Ace had insecurities and anger issues and talking to him at the moment didn’t seem like a very good idea.
Ace’s mansion came into view and I gulped down the nervousness. Being with him alone when he was angry in a house full of everything that screamed him didn’t seem to be on my to-do list for today.
The car came to a stop, and Ace got out, slamming the door shut without a word. I took a deep breath, mustering up the courage to face him.
As I stepped out of the car and began to follow him toward the front door, I called out his name softly, hoping he would at least acknowledge me.
"Ace..."
He didn't respond, his strides heavy as he walked ahead. The entrance of his house loomed ahead, and I followed him inside, the weight of his anger heavy in the air.
As I entered, I noticed that Ace wasn't in the main living area. I glanced around, my heart racing with worry. Then, my gaze landed on the slightly ajar door beside the kitchen. I stepped closer, peering inside, and my breath caught in my throat.
It was the wine cellar, dimly lit and holding an air of tension. Ace stood by the counter, his fingers tracing the rim of a glass containing a drink. The soft glow of the lights cast shadows on his face, the tension in his shoulders evident even from a distance.
I hesitated for a moment, my heart pounding as I considered my options. I wanted to give him space, to let him cool off, but the worry and guilt gnawed at me. Slowly, I stepped into the wine cellar, the door creaking softly.
“Ace…” I said softly, my voice tentative.
“What were you doing with him, Isabelle?” His eyes were still on the glass as his rough and demanding voice came not a moment later and a shiver ran down my spine.
“He wanted to apologize—“
“I don’t give a jack shit about his apologies!” His voice was still low but more forceful now.
Ace's head turned slightly, his gaze meeting mine. His expression was a mix of emotions—anger, frustration, and something else I couldn't quite decipher. I swallowed hard, taking a cautious step closer to him.
Before I could take any further steps towards him, he left the glass on the table and walked slowly towards me with his hands tucked in his pockets. His steps slow and deliberate as I involuntarily took a few steps back until my back was against the wall.
He slowly walked towards me until he was standing so close I could feel his breath on my face.
He lifted his hand up, lazily wrapping a loose strand of my hair around his index finger as he took one last step close to me.
“Why did you let him touch you, Princess?” His tone was rough and goosebumps erupted on my arms at the hoarseness of his voice. His eyes bore into mine, the intensity of his gaze sending a shiver down my spine.
His question hung in the air. My mind raced, trying to process his words and find the right response. "I didn’t…"
His hand that had been playing with my hair slipped down to my neck, his fingers lightly brushing against my skin before his grip tightened ever so slightly. The contrast between his touch and the edge in his voice was both exhilarating and intimidating.
"Don’t you know who gets to touch you?" he muttered, his voice a low growl. His gaze never wavered from mine, his eyes locked on as if searching for something deep within.
I swallowed hard, his words sinking in and setting my heart racing even faster. His proximity was overwhelming, his presence consuming every inch of the small space between us. My breath seemed to catch in my throat as I struggled to form a coherent response.
"Ace, I..." I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. I met his intense gaze and saw nothing but a cold, dark emotion and my legs involuntarily squeezed together.
His grip on my neck loosened slightly as his fingers traced a path from my neck to my jaw, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through me. My heart pounded against my chest as I tried to steady my breathing.
He leaned in, his lips dangerously close to mine, his warm breath brushing against my skin. My pulse raced, my entire body responding to his proximity in ways I couldn't control.
His free hand moved to the wall behind me, effectively trapping me between his body and the cool surface. My hands instinctively rested on his chest, feeling the erratic rhythm of his heartbeat beneath my fingertips.
His index finger dug deep, deep enough to open the top most button of my shirt as he lazily dragged it down my cleavage.
“Only I get to touch you,” he said, his voice heavy with anger and desire.
“Here,” he whispered, his finger tracing the outline of my nipple through my bra. A moan left my lips and heat made its way to my core at the movement.
“And here,” he whispered, his finger continuing its path downwards to my skirt. He traced the inner hem of my skirt, so agonizingly close to the apex between my legs. He played with the waistband of my panties and my knees buckled at the sensation of his calloused finger brushing lightly against the delicate skin.
“Only I get to hear you moan,” he said, his voice low and quiet as he moved even closer. The scent of his aftershave mixed with the masculine scent of his cologne invaded my senses, drowning me in his presence.
My fingers fidgeted on his chest, unable to still the trembling of my hands. My dress rubbed against his hand, soaked in my desire for him.
“Do you understand, Princess?” He whispered against my ear as he dragged his middle finger up and down my core through the fabric of my lace panties.
“Mhm,” I moaned in response, unable to form coherent sentences with his fingers caressing my center.
He brought the hand previously resting on the wall to the back of my neck and bent my head down to look at him.
“Words, Princess. I need words,” he tsked and halted his movements, his hand still resting on my core, unmoving now.
“Y—yes,” I whispered, my eyes watering with desire.
“Yes what?” he whispered, his lips barely an inch away from mine.
“Only you get to touch me,” I whispered, as he hummed in satisfaction and the simple movement seemed to turn my body on even more.
His lips curved into a slow, satisfied smile as he seemed to relish my response. His fingers, still resting on my core, resumed their gentle exploration, tracing maddening patterns that had me trembling against the wall. Every brush of his fingertip sent electric sparks through me, the heat pooling between my legs growing more intense with every passing moment.
His gaze bore into mine, his eyes dark with desire and something deeper, something that I couldn't quite comprehend. His touch was both a promise and a warning, a declaration of his possession over me.
"And only I get to hear you say my name," he added, his voice a husky whisper as he leaned in, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin of my ear. A shiver ran down my spine, and I could feel my resolve crumbling under the weight of his presence.
He withdrew his hand from my core, leaving me breathless and achingly aware of his absence. My heart pounded in my chest, the rhythm matching the ache between my legs.
His lips came to my cheek, leaving a trail of heated kisses from my cheek to my neck. His lips brushed against the sensitive skin, sending a jolt of pleasure through me. My breath caught, and a soft moan escaped my lips as his lips moved down, his warm breath fanning over my neck.
"Go to my room," he whispered against my ear, his voice sending shivers down my spine. Confusion swirled within me, my mind struggling to process his words.
"What..." I managed to say, my voice barely above a whisper, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Go and change," he repeated, his tone firm but the desire visible in his eyes. He stepped back from me, his gaze holding mine for a moment longer before he turned and walked back to the counter, retrieving his unfinished drink.
I blinked in confusion, my mind racing to understand his request. My thoughts were a jumble of desire and uncertainty, my body still buzzing from his touch.
As I stood there, I watched him from a distance, his back turned to me as he took a sip from his glass.
With a shaky breath, I took a step away from the wall, my legs feeling unsteady beneath me. His words echoed in my mind, and a mixture of anticipation and nervousness swirled within me.
Finally, I turned and made my way out of the wine cellar, my heart racing with every step. The mansion felt both unfamiliar and intensely intimate at the same time, as if every corner held a piece of Ace's essence.
I reached his room and pushed the door open slowly. The room was bathed in soft, dim light, casting a warm and inviting glow.
My heart raced as I stepped inside, my gaze falling on the large bed that dominated the room. It was neatly made, the sheets invitingly soft and smooth. For a moment, I hesitated, unsure of what to do next.
Realization dawned upon me that I didn't have any spare clothes here. My eyes fell on his closet, and I made my way to it.
I pulled out a large t-shirt, the fabric soft against my fingertips. I slipped out of my dress, exchanging it for the t-shirt. I didn’t take off my undergarments because I didn’t wanna seem eager to do whatever he wanted to do. The material enveloped me in a cocoon of his scent, and I couldn't help but inhale deeply.
Just as I was lost in my thoughts, a presence behind me broke me from my trance. Before I could react, strong arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me flush against a solid chest. A gasp escaped my lips as his lips found the sensitive skin of my neck, his kisses trailing a path along my skin.
My front pressed against the closet, his body effectively pinning me against it. The rough texture of the door against my breasts contrasted with the softness of his lips against my neck, and I let out a breathless sigh.
I leaned to the side, giving him full access to my neck, my head tilting to expose the vulnerable expanse of skin. His lips moved with purpose, leaving a trail of hot, open-mouthed kisses that sent sparks of pleasure shooting through me.
Desire surged within me, pooling low in my belly. His touch was both familiar and electrifying. I closed my eyes, surrendering to the sensations as my fingers curled around the edge of the closet door.
Finally, he turned me around, his gaze locking onto mine with a mixture of hunger and possession. I swallowed hard, my chest rising and falling rapidly as I met his intense stare.
Before I could utter a word, his lips descended upon mine in a bruising, dominating kiss. It was unlike any kiss we had shared before. There was an urgency, a raw need that ignited between us. His lips moved forcefully against mine, his tongue demanding entrance, and I couldn't help but respond, my body reacting to his touch as if by instinct.
I had always loved kissing Ace, the way his lips moved against mine, the way he made me feel desired and cherished. But this kiss was different. It was fierce, possessive, and filled with a hunger that left me breathless. The intensity of his desire seemed to seep into my very being, setting my senses on fire.
His hands slid down my waist, his fingers gripping my hips as he lifted me effortlessly. My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist, my body pressed against his as the kiss deepened, our mouths moving in a frantic dance of need.
He carried me towards the bed, each step sending a thrill through me. As he gently laid me down, his lips never leaving mine, I felt a rush of excitement with a touch of nervousness. The anticipation of what was to come was almost overwhelming.
His lips left mine, trailing a path of fiery kisses down my jawline, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin of my neck. My breath hitched, and a soft moan escaped my lips, the sensations flooding my senses.
My hands found their way to his hair, fingers threading through the dark locks as I pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.
With a swift movement, he pulled away, his hands tracing a fiery path down my body. Our eyes locked, and a silent understanding passed between us.
Desire surged through me. The weight of his body over mine, the taste of his lips, and the electrifying sensations that coursed through me were all I could think about.
His hands traced a tantalizing path along my body, igniting every nerve ending in their wake. My skin burned under his touch, my body responding eagerly to his every caress.
My heartbeat thudded in my chest as his touch grew bolder, his fingers skimming over the fabric of the shirt that covered me. Slowly, his hands moved upward, the fabric bunching as he pulled it up inch by inch. A breathless gasp escaped my lips as the cool air hit my skin, the sensation heightened by the intensity of his gaze.
His eyes drank in every inch of my exposed body, his hungry stare sending a rush of heat through me. His fingers brushed against the sensitive skin of my stomach, his touch setting my nerves alight.
"I'll get the condom," he murmured, his voice a husky whisper. His words hung in the air, and made my heart race even faster. He released me and turned, making his way to the drawer.
As he moved away, my heart pounded in my throat. I watched him, my breath catching in my chest, as he retrieved the condom.
He returned to the bed, his gaze never leaving mine. I could feel his desire radiating off him, his eyes holding mine in a silent question.
“You know what I’m going to do now?” he asked, his voice low but firm.
As he lay down beside me, his eyes locked onto mine with a mixture of desire and something dark.
The condom in his hand was a stark reminder of what he was going to do and my body quivered with need.
His free hand started its slow exploration, tracing delicate circles on my stomach.
“I’m going to fuck his touch out of your body.”
I moaned in response, too weak to form a coherent sentence. Every touch sent ripples of sensation through my skin, and I couldn't help but arch slightly into his touch, craving more of his caress.
His fingers moved upward, his touch gentle as he brushed over the curve of my breasts. I inhaled sharply, the sensation sending a shiver down my spine. My nipples tightened in response, aching for his touch.
“Do you know how I’m going to fuck you, Isabelle?” He whispered against my ear.
Down his hand trailed, fingers brushing lightly over my skin until they reached the apex of my thighs. My breath caught in my throat as he rubbed softly, his touch teasingly close to where I wanted him most.
“No,” A soft moan escaped my lips, a mixture of need and desire escaping with it.
“With my fingers, my tongue and my cock.”
His eyes held mine as he continued his slow exploration, his fingers creating a maddening friction against my core through the fabric of my panties. The intensity of his gaze, combined with the sensations he was evoking, had my heart racing, my senses consumed by the pleasure building within me.
My fingers dug into the sheets, my body writhing against his touch, seeking more contact, more friction. I bit my lip, unable to tear my gaze away from him, from the way his lips curled into a knowing smile as he watched my reactions.
"You're such a good girl," he murmured, his voice a low, seductive whisper. The heat in his gaze intensified, and his fingers applied a slightly firmer pressure against my core, making me gasp.
The fabric of my panties felt rough against my sensitized skin, heightening the sensations as he continued to touch me. Every stroke of his fingers sent jolts of pleasure straight to the pit of my stomach, coiling tightly as desire pooled within me.
"Who does this body belong to, Princess?" he asked, his voice a velvet caress that sent shivers through me.
“You,” I moaned and a satisfied smile made its way to his lips.
Without a word, he hooked his fingers into the waistband of my panties, his gaze locked onto mine as he slowly pulled them down my legs, exposing me fully to his hungry gaze. Heat rushed to my cheeks, and I bit my lip in a mixture of embarrassment and anticipation.
His fingers returned to my core, his touch now direct and electrifying. He stroked and teased, his movements driving me to the edge of pleasure. Every brush of his fingers against my most intimate place had me arching off the bed, seeking more of his touch.
I just couldn’t get enough of him.
I let out a breathless moan, the sound echoing in the air as I surrendered to the sensations he was evoking within me. His fingers danced and circled, his touch skilled and deliberate.
His lips brushed against my ear, his voice a seductive whisper that sent shivers down my spine. "Come on my fingers, Princess."
And with the hoarseness of his voice, I did. The tension built and built, winding tighter and tighter until it finally exploded in a rush of pleasure that radiated from my core, consuming every inch of me.
My body trembled with the force of it, waves of pleasure washing over me as I rode out the ecstasy he had brought me to. His fingers continued their gentle strokes, prolonging the pleasure until my breathing finally slowed, and I collapsed back onto the bed, my heart still racing.
He withdrew his fingers, his gaze never leaving mine as he brought them to his lips, his tongue darting out to taste me. He licked both fingers clean. The sight was both erotic and intimate.
As I caught my breath, he leaned down, his lips capturing mine in a kiss that was a blend of sweetness and hunger.
His lips left mine, moving along my jawline and down my neck, leaving a trail of heated kisses in their wake. I gasped as his lips brushed over the sensitive skin just above my collarbone, my fingers gripping the sheets beneath me.
As his lips moved lower, his fingers deftly unhooked my bra, the garment slipping away to reveal my breasts. His touch was reverent as he cupped them, his thumbs brushing over my hardened nipples, sending jolts of pleasure straight to my core.
His eyes never left mine as he leaned in, his lips capturing one of my nipples, his tongue flicking over the sensitive bud. A gasp of pleasure tore from my lips, and I tangled my fingers in his hair, holding him closer.
He continued his torturous exploration, his mouth and hands mapping every inch of my body. His touch was slow and deliberate, his movements allowing me to savor every sensation. My body arched and writhed under him, aching for more.
“Can I fuck you now, Princess?” He said against my nipple and I moaned out a hasty ‘yes’.
He smirked and tore the packet of the condom off before putting it on. Placing myself on top of me, he found a comfortable position.
“Ace I…” I trailed, not sure how to voice my thoughts.
“What’s wrong? We can stop—“
“No, no. It’s just…it’s been ages. I was in college last when I had—“
“I don’t wanna hear about that. Tell me, Isabelle, do you want me?” He bent down and murmured against my ear as his finger teasingly caressed my breasts.
“Yes.” I said without hesitation and he gave me a satisfied smile.
“Just say if it’s too much,” he whispered against my lip as I felt the tip of him penetrating me before he drove me into insanity and all I could remember from that time was the sheer desire that radiated off us and the intensity with which he made me feel everything that was so raw and unapologetically him.
