“Good morning, Irina. It's great that we can work together again after I haven't been in the office for quite a while," said Savannah when she walked into the room and approached the table of work.

“Hello, Mrs. McCarter. Sounds good to you, doesn't it?"

“Oh, come on...,” Savannah replied with a smile on her face after a while just teased by his co-workers.

"So how about being McCarter's mistress?"

"Nothing has changed from before I became Mrs. McCarter, okay? So, stop every temptation that you will continue to give me."

"Okay, okay. But shouldn't newly married couples be spending time alone by going on a honeymoon? Then why you actually go to work, exactly one day after your wedding day?”

"Yes indeed. Most newly married couples probably want to be able to spend more time together. But me and Duke not like that. The duties and responsibilities that we have in this office are not can be abandoned just like that just because of their own selfishness want to go on a honeymoon. So, Duke and I decided to hold off honeymoon in advance until an undetermined time.”

"And Duke agreed to it?"

"Of course. It's not just for me, but for him too. For this company and for the future.”

"Behind his annoying, ambitious and arrogant nature as a leader. Apparently he was so caring and very sweet towards couple."

"Yes. You were quite surprised by Duke's behavior that you just found out about, weren't you?”

“I believe, the type of guy like Duke does have hidden traits like that. Sweet, caring, understanding. Most types of men have by the Duke does have such a hidden trait, doesn't he?"

"Yes."

“Well then, congrats on your wedding again Savannah. I hope this the best for you."

“Thank you, Irina. And, thank you also for the wedding gift that you've given it to me too."

"Have you opened it yet?"

“I haven't had a chance to touch all of the wedding gifts. Time has seemed so short to me lately. So I feel like I haven't do a lot of things but quickly the time has changed. However, whatever gift you give it to me I will really like it. Thank you, okay?"

"Of course. Glad Mrs. McCarter liked the little gift from this employee."

"Hey, stop it okay?" Said Savannah which made both of them immediately chuckle. “Then, I want to give you this document first to Duke.” She continued as she got up from his seat and carrying a document in his hand.

"Not making coffee in the morning as usual?"

"I made it for him this morning at the apartment."

"Oh God! I almost forgot that it is no longer someone's job assistant, but it is a duty of a wife. Sounds really sweet, isn't it?"

"Okay, stop teasing me. Don't you feel bored?” Protest Savannah who immediately stepped out left Irina behind there who was laughing with satisfaction from continuously teasing her, to Duke's room on the other side.

"What's wrong with her?" Duke asked Savannah who had just been walked into his room and approached the man's table to put documents there.

"What's wrong what?" The woman replied, confused because of herself who just heard the question thrown by the man to her.

“Irina. I heard her laughing. Is this just right time for her to be able to laugh and joke around?”

"Hey, come on. Irina just wanted to break the ice on a morning like this. And I love it.”

"You like it?"

"Yes. Working together with Irina was a lot of fun.”

"Where's the fun corner?"

“Because Irina is indeed a lovely person. You do never talked to her so don't know Irina well good."

“All right, all right. If you like Irina, that's fine.”

"So what?"

"Because I have plan to fire her."

Hearing Duke's words that surprised her, Savannah immediately stepped quickly toward his whereabouts and she was closed Duke's mouth with his hand hoping for the things he said earlier could not be heard by Irina on the other side. Even though things were done it would feel so pointless, but Savannah still had hope that the words that Duke said were not heard by colleagues it works.

"Duke! Do not like that. It's not good if Irina hears it," said the woman while removing the hand that was in Duke's mouth to smother it.

"So what? If you think about it, I just felt like this I need you alone to be my assistant.”

"Why? Irina is a good person. Its performance is also very good. She able to adapt quickly in this job. And I need it too as my coworker to be able to help some my work that sometimes I can't hold alone. So why should be fired? Indeed ..., do you have the heart to make me become suffering from having to do all this crazy work alone?" Savannah said in a spoiled voice at the end his sentence was aimed at persuading the man not to do the wrong thing he said earlier.

"Is my beloved wife sulking?" Duke replied with a smile while pulling Savannah's body so it fell on his lap.

“I was sulking, so you could listen to my request for no need to fired Irina.”

"Just for that?"

"Yes. I know this character of yours. If not, I'll tell you from the start or talk a little bit to keep you from doing it, I'm sure you already have do it to your heart's content, right?"

"The longer you have started to know my characteristics."

"Of course. So, promise me you won't fire Irina. And I'll never talk about things like that again. okay?”

"Yeah, I wouldn't be like that."

"Promise you won't say something like that again?"

"Promise."

"Promise you won't..., fire her?" Savannah asked on purpose lowered his voice at the end of his question.

"Yes, I promise, My love."

Savannah breathed a sigh of relief after hearing that promise Duke had just said to her.

"I'm pleased to hear it. If so, let go of your hug because now I have to go back to my office to be able to start work."

"Come on, just a minute. I want to make out with my wife for a while, before the busyness of work began to overwhelm me until I forgot time and also forget about my wife until after working hours end.”

“But it's already working hours, Duke. And it will be not professional if you are still like this. After all, if you want to make out you can do it in the apartment after we get home, right?”

“It's a shame my wife always wants to be professional when she's at in the office."

"Of course. I'm a exemplary employee"

“Alright, alright. Then we'll continue this all the way to the apartment, okay?”

"Okay."

"You can leave after giving your husband a kiss," Duke asked who was holding back a smile.

"Okay."

Quickly, Savannah kissed Duke's lips briefly and causing a smile to spread across their lips.

“I returned to my table first. See you later," said the woman who immediately got up from above the lap and walked towards the room back.

"Why is Mrs. McCarter taking so long in Mr. McCarter's office? Is this new couple making out for a while because they can't just a bit away, huh?”

“Irina! Come on,” protested Savannah who gradually felt more and more embarrassed because she was constantly teased by his colleague. "We'd better just get to work, okay? Instead of you having to tease me constantly.”

“I've started my work since earlier, okay? You're just taking too long in the next room just to let go.”

"Okay, you're getting annoying."

Irina's laughter grew louder as she heard Savannah continuing protest at every temptation she received.

“Alright, alright. We'll continue this joke after work ends, okay? Because now it has to be to the finance department to deliver this document,” said Irina, which made Savannah freeze for a moment when she was about to sit herself in his work chair.

Hearing the words 'financial department', Savannah's instincts were unclear why go straight to Dylan where she shouldn't be could do something like that again.

"Finance Department?"

"Yes. It's a bit of an emergency, so I have to deliver it myself now."

"Hmm ..., what if I just deliver it? I also want to go to the toilet,” said Savannah who offered to be able to deliver the document.

"Really?"

"Yes. You can stay here and continue what you are doing or doing your other work. How?"

"Okay. But you are the one who proposed this, not to be able to intentionally want to meet someone in the finance department, right?" Irina asked probingly while handing over a document to Savannah.

"Of course not. What's on your mind? I already have a surveillance camera that is a reminder and always follows everywhere the direction I'm going, okay?” Avoid Savannah while showing her ring finger that's where there is a wedding ring there.

"Hmm..., okay. Give my regards to Dylan, okay?”

“Stop it, Irina! You're so annoying."

After taking the documents she want to deliver quickly from hand Irina, Savannah immediately rushed out of the room it to go to the elevator. There really is no intention for Savannah to want meet Dylan, but it's just that it always seems fate so that the two of them always meet. Because at the time the elevator was climbed the woman had reached the finance department floor, a few steps away Savannah stepped out and immediately ran into a figure Dylan. Savannah immediately felt an awkward situation when the two of them were together now facing each other and staring at each other in silence. However, don't want to give a bad impression by keeping silent and not say hello, Savannah also took the initiative to first just say hello and made small talk with the man.

"Hey, Dy." Greet Savannah with a smile on her face.

"Hey."

Only a short reply Dylan gave in return to Savannah. And the man immediately ended the meeting with stepped back to leave Savannah's presence still frozen in position. But unplanned, just suddenly Savannah immediately stepped back not to the room where the finance department was, but caught up with Dylan quickly.

“Dy, wait a moment. There's something I want to talk to you about for a moment." said Savannah when she had cut off Dylan's steps to the man again stopped his steps, and now the two of them became each other facing back.

"What is it?"

"Hmm ..., how are you?"

"Well. So much better.”

“Okay, that's a good thing for you. Hmm..., about the problem yesterday..."

“Okay. It was my fault,” interjected Duke who cut off Savannah's sentence. “Yes, it was all my fault. I've already started it long ago, it was me who gave him so many punches in the face, and I attacked him for no apparent reason. So, that is my fault. And I'm ready to accept any form of punishment though proper recompense for all the things I've done it."

“There is no punishment for you, Dylan. I already asked so that the problem does not need to be extended again. So you don't have to I feel so guilty all the time just because of that problem.”

“Okay. So, what is the meaning of the thing you want to talk about?”

“I want to apologize to you. Because, yesterday I had slapped you."

"Only that?"

"Yes."

“Okay. Like you said before, there's no need to feel so bad guilty for something like that. I've forgotten about it as well forgive you."

"Thank you for wanting to forgive me."

"Yes of course. Then, is there anything else you want to talk about?”

"No, only that."

"Okay, then I'll go first."

“Maybe sometime we can go together, Dy. As a friend, I really don't mind it."

“Yeah, we can arrange that later. With a double date perhaps? I do not mind."

"Double date?" Savannah asked with a slight frown.

"Yes. You and your husband. Me and also with my girlfriend. Then we can do a double date, right?”

"Girlfriend?"

"Yes. I already have a new girlfriend. Maybe with a double date later, I can introduce her to you."

"Hmm..., okay. We'll arrange that later. Nice to talk with you again, Dy. And see you next time."

After saying goodbye to the man, Savannah immediately stepped out feet first to the room in the finance department at up ahead, and left Dylan back there as she went pondering whether it was true that Dylan already has a new girlfriend? Not that Savannah was visible still can't let go of the figure of his ex-girlfriend. Is it just because the woman still really didn't expect that the man she used to be always said that he always felt deeply in love, but now so quickly his heart had moved to another heart.
