chapter 12

ZARA POV

i never thought someone who i loved that much can holds the power to destroy me. He not only killed my father but broke me too. I will never let him win over me. He is keeping me from my only family left, my brother. My brother must be shattered by death of our dad but my luck i cannot even see him, consoling him is far end. I cannot stay away from my brother forever. I have to do something. I have to escape from here.

Here in this big mansion i can not go outside my room. My food is brought here like a prisoner. I am not allowed to use phone. In last 3 weeks doctor has checked me thrice. Given me medication for my lack of appetite and sleeplessness. I don’t say a word to the doctor but zayn must have told him about my condition. Zayn comes into my room in the middle of night when i am in bed pretending to be asleep. I don’t want to look at his face. I don’t want to hear his voice. he sits on my bedside for some time and leave. I was in deep thoughts when i heard mid saying “ma’am, sir wants you on breakfast table today”

“i am not coming”

“but ma’am you have to come”

“i said i w..”i hear zayn speaking behind her “get out”. my heart suddenly stated pounding. His voice has effect on me and i hate myself for that. Maid on hearing his yell left me alone with the murderer.

I looked at him with sheer contempt. he is in his suit ready to go “i wanted to talk to you” he said

“but i don’t want to talk” i replied. He walked towards me in large strides and stood infront of me “i think you have mourned enough and i want you to get back normal” he said with no expressions on his face.

I cannot believe it. He is telling me to get back normal. “are you insane? After doing everything you telling me to do what?”

“right now all i want from you is to care of yourself. I wont be here for some days.” he said calmly and turned around. He din’t gave me time to say anything. I was expecting his indignation but he just said that like my words don’t effect him. He stopped at the door and looked over his shoulder and said “don’t try to escape.”and looked forward again “because you cant. Mansion is surrounded by my men” and left.
