Chapter 12 Chapter 12) Accusation.

Chapter 12 Chapter 12) Accusation.
The two omega servants' eyes were wide open in shock, and they couldn't move from where they stood.

They were utterly terrified that a single movement was going to take their lives, so they could not risk it and stayed frozen, even as their hearts beat and sounded like a thousand drums within.

“Pathetic”. Alejandro muttered, before his eyes shifted to Demira, and he walked towards her.

Demira was puzzled, but was mostly vigilant, because she had predicted this.

‘What is he trying to do now? Does he want to kill me too?’. Despite this troubling question in her mind, she didn't bother to retreat because she knew that, no matter what, she was no match for him right now, and retreating from him was only going to make matters worse for her.

“You. You are the cause of this. If only you had not appeared in my life as my mate, I would not have lost my mate to death”. Alejandro said to her, and the veins in his neck popped out.

While he was busy being angry, Demira was busy thinking about the baseless accusations he had against her.

How was it her fault that his mate died? She had never even met with his mate before, and had never crossed paths with her. So, how did that happen?

“Did the moon goddess make my mate kill herself so that you could become her replacement? So that you could become my one and only mate?”. He said to her, confusing her even more.

But wait. Did she just hear him say that his mate killed herself?

‘If she killed herself, then that serves you right. I guess she had had enough of your cruelness and decided that death was better than staying by your side’. She thought, and at this point, Alejandro was standing in front of her.

“Tell me, did you appear so that you could ruin my life?”. His question came out of nowhere.

She began to imagine if the pain of losing his mate had made him go insane.

Because, if it had not made him go insane, why was he asking her such a stupid question?

“I did nothing wrong”. She said to him, but her words made him more agitated.

To him, everything was her fault.

He did not want to believe that Tessie died while hating him.

It was something he could never bear to accept.

Though strange. Before he arrived at the guest room, he was boiling with anger and swore to let go of the curiosity he had over her and planned to kill her off.

After all, it was better for him to be mate-less, than for him to still have a mate after losing one.

But now that he has made it to the guest room, why hasn't he killed her yet?

Why was he hesitating? Why was something making him hesitate? This was not him. This was never him.

He was never the kind of person who hesitates. Rather, he was the kind of person who acted without hesitating.

But why was he hesitating?

He wanted to kill her. He hated seeing her face and wanted it long forgotten. But why couldn't he bring himself to do it?

While he was busy thinking about what had gone wrong with him, Demira was hoping that he would leave and only return to stand in front of her after she had become strong enough to defeat him.

Most importantly, she hated the smell of blood.

She wanted him to leave quickly.

She also wanted someone to take Ella away and wipe off the blood on the floor, because the blood and the smell of dead bodies reminded her of her old self. A self she hated and badly wanted to forget.

She shut her eyes tightly, before opening them.

‘Please leave already. Why would you even come to this room in the first place?’. As she thought, her eyes turned to Tessie, and out of pure coincidence, she saw a blue necklace on her neck.

Seeing the necklace, something sharp hit her head like a hammer.

Her lips trembled. Her eyes widened.

Her legs shook, and she began questioning reality.

A memory she never knew she had, came flooding in. The pain was sharp, as if her skin was being pierced with tiny nails.

Her head felt like it was going to burst, making her groan in pain and fall to her knees on the ground.

Her reaction made Alejandro frown. ‘I didn't touch her. What is wrong with her?’. He wondered.

“Argh! Argh! Make it stop! Make it stop!”. She screamed in pain and curled her body on the floor as many strange pictures appeared inside her head faster than she could see or count.

One by one, each picture tormented her greatly, and she felt like she was dying.

Her throat became sore from shouting, and she felt dizzy, like someone who was on the verge of fainting or falling apart.

Staring at her, Alejandro was still trying to understand what was happening to her.

At this point, he didn't know what to do, so he continued watching her.

But as he watched her, he felt a ripping pain in his chest.

He wanted to believe that the pain was happening to him because of Tessie, but that wasn't the case.

After some minutes of struggling on the ground, Demira stopped.

She was panting fast like someone who had run a marathon.

‘No- no way’. Priscilla mind linked Demira because she could not believe everything she had recalled.

Meanwhile, after Demira forced herself to sit up on the ground, she took out her blue necklace which hid underneath her clothes.

She rose up from the ground. Tears filled her eyes as she stared at Tessie’s necklace, which was identical to hers.

They were a pair. A once in a lifetime heirloom left for them by their parents.

She remembered. She finally remembered.

She was very young when it happened. Was it when she was 6 or 7 years old?

Her parents were framed and unjustly killed. But in order to give her and her elder sister a chance of survival and to keep them safe, their parents made sure that both of them escaped.

Unfortunately, during the run, she and her elder sister parted ways in a crowd, and she was left all alone.

Maybe because of the pain of losing her entire family at such a young age, her memory became messed up and made her forget what really happened.

It made her forget about her elder sister.

“Si- sister”. She muttered, and her hand slowly reached out to touch her.

“What do you think you are doing?”. Alejandro asked her.

She didn't answer because the realization that the dead lady in front of her was the sister she had forgotten about, hit her hard and broke her heart into a million pieces.

“Sister!!!”. She exclaimed and took her away from Alejandro's arms. She made her lie on the ground and knelt beside her.

Alejandro was left stunned by what happened.

He reached out and was a second away from grabbing her when he heard her agonizing cries and halted.

“Sister. No! This can't be. This isn't possible!! What happened to you?! Why aren't you moving?! Please stand up and look at me! It's me, Mira! I am your little star!!!”.

“Stand up and look at me! I finally found you. How could you be dead?! How could you be so cruel to me?! You are the only family I got! But now you are gone! What am I going to do now?! Answer me!”. She cried out and clenched her chest as tears streamed down her face endlessly.

She began to hit Tessie’s chest and was attempting to make her wake up.

Without thinking, Alejandro kicked her aside.

“How dare you hurt her?”. His voice thundered as he asked her.

As for Demira, she coughed out blood before she brutally forced herself to get up despite the pain in her abdomen.

She stared into Alejandro's eyes with her bloodshot eyes.

“What do you know?! Do you freaking know that she is my elder sister?! The only family I had left! I didn't even get to reunite with her, and she is gone! What did you do to her that made her take her own life?!!!!”. She roared and bled through her nose.
