" I can't believe you will be getting married soon ,I can't wait . The more I think of it ,the more excited I become ! " Savy squiled happily.

" You should be careful with way you jump in excitement ,we don't want you to fall down and injure yourself now do we ? I asked and she Chuckled softly.

" I'll be in soup then ,Zain will kill me " she said and I laughed.

" That's why you need to be careful " I said and she smiled.

" You are such a sweet soul Aurora " she said and I smiled.

" Everything is set for the wedding and I'm so happy for you " she said emotionally and I smiled.

Everyone is excited about the wedding ,I'm happy too but I don't know why I feel incomplete.

Damon is my mate ,destined by the moon goodess and I do love him .

Then why do I feel broken at the thought of a life with him .

Why is my life so complicated ?

" Are you okay ? Savy asked noticing my mood swing and I gave a positive nod.

" I am fine ,just a bit tired " i said and she sighed .

" It's normal to be tired , you must rest now " she said and left my Chambers.

Sitting down on my bed , I took off my slippers and shifted close to the bed as I felt empty .

My mind wondered off to the Red blood pack , my sister Athena ..my mom .

Rhea and Ares and the man who ruined and damaged my heart from loving anyone else.

I used to think we were gonna end up together ,he said he loved me .

He led me on ,made me believe him only to let go of me and break me completely.

My eyes welled up and I hugged myself close as I cried bitterly.

I felt so guilty and stupid for crying over this again and again but you can't stop your heart from getting hurt or feeling pains .

I went to the bathroom , Freshened up and when I walked back to the room ,Damon was back from his outing.

" My love " he said and pecked my lips .

" How was your day ? I asked and he smiled.

" It was fine ,I heard the Alpha's have started arriving for our wedding " he said and I could hear the excitement in his deep manly voice.

" I heard too ,I'm thinking of greeting them first thing tomorrow morning " I said and he chuckled.

' you will make a perfect Luna my love " he said and my heart warmed up at his sweet words .

" No man his perfect Damon " i said and he stared into my eyes intensely.

" You are perfect in my eyes Aurora ,you are a selfless , Caring and amazing woman ..." He trailed and I chuckled emotionally as tears rolled outta my eyes.

He is the best thing that has happened to me , and as he pulled me in his embrace I closes my eyes as I bit my lower lip to stop myself from crying.

" I know you are skeptical about getting married to me ,I can see it in your eyes Aurora .." he said and I froze as I broke the hug and stared at him .

" Damon it's not what you think ..." I trailed .

" Hey I'm not judging you " he said holding my hands lovingly.

" I want this " I said meaning every single word of it .

" I know you do Aurora , but if you feel pressured into doing this ,we can wait " He suggested .

" No one is ever fully ready to get married love , sometimes we feel cold feet and it's absolutely normal " I said and he chuckled.

" I'm glad you want this " he said and I chuckled.

" Have you eaten ? I asked raising my eyebrows.

" Have you eaten ? He throwed the question back at me and I stared at his beautiful lips .

" You're so naughty " I nudged at him and he laughed.

" How about we eat dinner outside at the garden ? He asked and I smiled .

" That's so romantic Alpha " i said and he laughed.

" Ladies first " he said showing me the way and I laughed as we walked out hand in hand .

That evening as we ate under the night in a romantic dinner .

I couldn't help but notice that Life with Damon didn't bring me drama or pain .

He's truthful and he doesn't give escuses when it comes to matters concerning me .

That's what I want ,that's what makes me happy.

Then why do you keep thinking of Lorenzo ? My mind mocked .

I'm not thinking of Lorenzo ,he is my past and Damon is my present and future.

Besides the moon goodess knows why she paired me with Damon .

She knew he loves and cherish me , unlike Lorenzo who stabbed my heart with hurt to last a lifetime.

" Are you even listening my love ? I heard Damon's voice and snapped out of my thoughts.

We talked about random stuffs and after dinner we retired to our room .

Changed and as we cuddled in bed ,he kissed my forehead and I snuggled closer .

The next morning when I woke up from the bed ,Damon wasn't in the room anymore.

A smile appeared on my face as I stared at the cup of brewing coffee in amusement.

After taking my bath ,I changed into something comfortable and walked downstairs .

" Good morning Luna " the maids greeted and I smiled as I answered politely.

" Have you seen Alpha Damon ? I asked and the guard bowed .

" He's with the other Alpha's at the garden " he said and I gave a nod in understanding.

I walked towards the garden to greet the other Alpha's too ,since I didn't get to do that th

e previous day .

Damon turned and smiled as he saw me approaching them .

" Ah ,here she comes" he said with a bright smile .

I froze on my steps when he moved out of the way and my eyes landed on the figure just beside him who was yet to notice me .

" Love meet the Alpha Lorenzo of the Red blood pack" he introduced .

" Alpha Ren meet my mate and the Luna of this pack , My woman Aurora " He Introduced and Ren froze on his spot as his eyes moved to me .
