" The Alpha has asked we prepare the rooms for the other Alpha's who are coming from far and near to attend the wedding because some of them will be staying for sometime " The chief maid said and I rubbed my forehead .

" Oh " I muttered under my breath in suprise.

" Do you guys accomodate that many guest when there is a feast or something ? I asked and she Chuckled.

" Luna the Alpha is known as the Alpha of all Alpha's it's his duty to give a good reception to other Alpha's from other packs ." She explained.

" I had no idea there's such a reception " I said and Savannah joined us .

" Hey Luna " she said excitedly.

" How is the baby ? I asked and she smiled.

" Fine , have you gone cake tasting ? She asked and I smiled .

" Mom decided to do it , I'm not really a fan of cakes so I believe anything will do " I said and she Chuckled .

" If you say so " she said as we walked together towards the fields .

" The soldiers are out to train and Brooklyn is amongst them . The moonstone pack Train the best soldiers in our realm . That's why Alpha Damon was crowned the Alpha of all Alpha's.

" You said you where lost after the accident . What happened ? Which pack took you in ? She asked and I froze as my heart pounded against my chest as the butter memories clouded me.

His lies ,my pain and everything I've gone through.

" I'm not comfortable about it " I said and she sighed .

" I'm sorry ,I should definitely respect your privacy ,sorry I asked " She apologized sincerely.

" It is okay Sav , I just don't like talking about it because it broke me " I said sadly .

" It's something I'm still trying to live passed which has not been easy " I said and took a deep breath in and out .

We talked about some random stuff .

I met Brooklyn on the way to my room and I stopped to greet her .

" Good afternoon Brooklyn ,it's so nice to see you around ..." I trailed .

" Save it Aurora " she said raising her hand and I stared at her in confusion.

" Is everything okay Brooklyn ? I have done nothing wrong to you . I try my best to meet up with the standards set across for the Luna of the moon stone pack..." I trailed .

" Well that doesn't change the fact that you are not what you potray yourself to be , anytime I look at you ,I have this bad feeling deep down that you will bring nothing but trouble for my brother" she spat and my heart squeezed in hurt .

" How can you say something like that ,Damon and I love each other " I said as tears rolled out of my eyes .

" Good for you ,but please stay away from me , cause I don't like you and I will never like you" she spat before walking out on me .

The strides to me room were heavy and tensed .

Why is Brooklyn so cold towards me ? Is she scared that what happened at my father's pack will happen to her brother and pack .

Does my presence bring nothing but badluck ?

The harsh words from Lorenzo added with Brooklyn's coldness came rushing and I burst out crying.

Just when I thought I could be genuinely happy,I can't get passed my own insecurities.

My eyes felt heavy and I slept on the bed with tears rolling down my cheeks.

Sometime later I groaned on my sleep when I heard kissing sounds on my cheeks and forehead.

" Damon let me sleep ..." I whinned softly and he smiled against my cheek as I chuckled.

I opened my eyes as they met with his hazel eyes.

His Expression changed to a worrier look when he noticed I cried myself to sleep.

" Were you crying ? He asked ,concern lacing his voice .

" No ...babe I just " I trailed .

" You were crying Aurora you can't lie to me . What happened ? He asked and I shook my head negatively.

" You are mistaken , something entered my eyes I was just trying to get rid of it " I said and he chuckled.

" What a silly escuse that is ,we both know it's a lie. " He said and I became emotional.

" Brooklyn doesn't like me , I've tried my possible best to make her see the good in our relationship and that I am not here to cause any harm ,but she won't even look at me "

" She keeps saying it to my face that I am out to bring trouble to her brother and it breaks my heart " I Explained sadly .

" I'm so sorry you are having a hard time getting to Brook, she is a hard Nut to crack,but I believe with time she will come around "

" Expecially when she realise you are here to stay " he said raising my hands to kiss my knuckles.

" You are my woman , my mate and I can't settle for less " he said as my heart warmed up .

" I just hope she come around soon ,I really like Brooklyn"

" She has a strong personality and the way she bonds with you and your mom ,i was hoping to have that kind of relationship with her too " I said and he chuckled.

" That's so sweet Ro, but she needs time to open up to you " he Explained.

" How long ? It's been months already ,do you think it will take years ? I asked playing with my fingers .

" It all depends my love . Now don't beat yourself over it" he said and kissed my forehead as I snuggled into his arms .
