" I lost my Dad just before I turned eighteen in a war with our niegbouring pack back then .

" I had to grow up really fast and take the reigns. Mom and my sister Brooklyn are my biggest support " he explained.

" You have a sister ? I said and he smiled.

" Yes , Brooklyn can be quite a handful you see ..." He trailed telling me about his favorite things .

I couldn't help but laugh ,Damon is fun to be with and though he had the Aura that commands respect ,he doesn't push things when it comes to me and it is just the sweetest thing.

I need to leave so you can prepare for dinner tonight" he said and got up .

" Thanks Damie " I whispered softly as I kissed both sides of his cheeks .

He walked out of my room and I smiled .

Just in time for dinner Savannah Walked into my room with a white dress .

" Hey momma " she said teasingly.

" You are such a life saver Sav " I said and she Chuckled.

" Now go get dressed we don't want to keep the Family waiting now do we ? She asked and I chuckled.

I checked myself out in the mirror making sure I am not too dressed for the occasion.

I don't want to come out too extravagant .

" I think I should give you a heads-up , while his mom is super nice , Brooklyn is someone you should be mindful off ,She is not nice at all "

" She mean ? I asked confused .

" She finds fault in everything and everyone but I am sure she loves the Alpha a lot " She Explained and if I was nervous about meeting his mom ,that had doubled with what I am hearing now .

We walked out together and when we got to the dinner table ,I noticed Alpha Damon and Zain his beta sitted Already.

A beautiful and classy looking lady sat opposite an older version of Damon .

The middle aged woman smiled in my direction as I walked towards them .

" Aurora dear " she called and my heart warmed up .

I joined them not before bowing to greet his mom who kissed my forehead.

" You look just like your mama ,she was a good woman " she said and I smiled.

" Thanks ,it's nice to meet you ma'am " I said and she Chuckled.

" Oh please just call me mom ,you are Damon's Luna and after you guys get married you are going to be my daughter " she said excitedly.

The other lady whom I suppose is Brooklyn scoffed at her mother's last line.

"Brook ,meet Aurora my mate " Damon introduced us and I gave her a warm smile which she did not return .

" Nice to meet you ..." I trailed thinking she did not hear her brother.

" Can we start eating already? She asked and Zain cleared his throat .

Damon touched my hand in assurance.

" I'm sorry " he said which was loud enough for me to hear .

I smiled softly and Savannah gave me the I told you look.

I think I am gonna have a hard time with brook cause she is already making it obvious that she doesn't like me .

Funny thing is I have done absolutely nothing to hurt her .

I mean we just met .

Throughout the dinner ,his mom tried to make me comfortable by making conversations with me .

Brook on the other hand just ghosted everyone and when the dinner came to an end she was the first to leave.

Talk about an arrogant woman .

I guess I have to watch it when She is involved .

" What ! Vincenzo said in horror as he stared at me in shock .

" She said she is pregnant " I said as I ran my fingers in my hair .

" What where you thinking ? He bursted .

" I don't know okay ,it just happened " i said as I leaned on the chair .

" Since when ?" He said rubbing his neck .

"She said it was that one time , while I was still with Aurora " I said bowing my head in shame.

" You messed up big time man , so what are you gonna do ? He asked.

" Try to find Aurora ..." I trailed .

" Whattt ? I think you are out of your mind. Why would she want to come back to you after what you put her through ?

" You regected her in front of your pack ! He bursted .

" And I am sorry about it ,I regret it every single day that passes by without Aurora " I said my voice breaking at the edge .

" Well that is something you are going to regret for the rest of your life because we can't find her " He said softly.

" I knew this would happen and I tried to make you see reasons with me ,yet you wouldn't listen man " He said as he shook his head in self pity .

" I am loosing it Vincenzo ,I can't marry silver ,I just can't . My children wouldn't even talk to me . My life is taking a turn for the worse " I said as my eyes stung with tears.

" I tried talking to Rhea and she wouldn't have it , Especially after silver goes around the pack acting like the Luna" he Explained.

" I fucked up man "

" I messed up real bad " i said and my body shook as hurt spread in my chest at the realization.

" I lost her man ,I lost the woman I love " I muttered under my breath and Vincenzo walked over to me as I cried bitterly.
