" What do you have to say about the sudden appearance of more rouges around the borders ? Don't you see that as a sign that we would be attacked soon ? One of the pack Elders asked as he stood up with concern laced in his voice.

" I appreciate your concern Elder , but I have been running this pack for ages and I assure you , that I will protect this pack with my life ' I said and everyone bowed in agreement.

We talked about the pack duties for a while before the meeting got dismissed.

" The issue of the rouges had everyone worried" Vincenzo my beta said as he dropped some file on my table.

" It's normal but, considering the fact that something like this have not happened since Layla " I said and merely uttering her name spread nothing but pain in my chest .

" I'm sure she's fine wherever she is and misses you too " Vincenzo said and I looked away.

" So.... I heard silver is back " he said and I rubbed my forehead.

" so ? I asked as I checked out the files.

" It's nothing,I'm just concerned considering the fact that you now have something to do with the new ...girl " he said and I sighed .

" Auro is different" I said as a bright smile formed on my lips.

" Different " he said teasingly.

" I think I like her sincerely, she's so innocent and it makes me want to taint every bit of her ..." I trailed with a smirk .

" And silver ? He asked.

" I don't know" I said and looked away.

" I believe you are old enough to make the right decisions Alpha Ren " he said and bowed politely.

My mind went back to how lady Astrid had treated her this afternoon .

I had to claim her ,she's too innocent to be pushed around by palace maids .

And lady Astrid was no exception.

I made my way to my room as my head sparked with slight headache.

" Get me Auro " I was to one of my men as I entered my Chambers .

It wasn't long before she appeared .

" You asked for my presence Alpha " she said with concern .

" C'mon join me " I said and she joined me on the bed .

" I placed my head on her laps as she sent her soft fingers in my hair I moaned softly.

" You are so sweet auro " I muttered under my breath.

" Alpha " she called softly.

" Flower " I whispered back .

" What happened to the mother of your children ? She asked and I froze .

My eyes moved towards her preety face as I sighed softly.

" She died " i said and a gasp escaped her lips.

" I don't wanna talk about it" I said before she could ask further questions.

Layla is a sensitive topic ,not something I'm willing to open up just yet .

Sleeping with different girls have helped me Cope with the loss .

I don't know what I feel for Auro,if I just want to make her one of my cocubines or what I feel is something to be cherished .

" Sleep Alpha Ren" she whispered softly.

" Mark her ..." My wolf growled and I pulled her in for a kiss .

She tasted sweet just like always.

She snuggled into me as I closed my eyes letting sleep engulf me .

The next morning I asked the maids to move her things to my Chambers and by then everyone knew we we're seeing each other .

" Father really ? You like Auro ? Does that make her our Luna and our new mother ? Area asked shocked .

" I don't know how to feel Auro ,but I think I prefer you to silver . After all you're nice and you make me happy " Rhea said and Aurora blushed slightly.

" Thanks for trusting me Rhea " she said and I pulled her into my arms .

" Thanks for liking my grumpy father Auro " she said and they all chuckled.

I left for pack duties and Silver badged into my office.

" Really Ren ? She asked with arms folded .

" What do you want silver ? You don't just badge into my office like that ,I am your alpha." I said with authority.

" I'm sorry Ren. .." she trailed .

" Alpha Ren" I corrected her and her eyes widened.

" I'm sorry Alpha Ren" she muttered under her breath in anger .

" What's this I'm hearing ? You're seeing that maid of yours ? Why ...I thought we agreed it was gonna be just me ? She asked angrily.

" You do not have the rights whatsoever to tell me the woman I should and should not see Silver ! I snapped immediately.

" She's a nobody ,she doesn't have a wolf , Lorenzo ! She's a fvcking weakling . How do you expect her to rule alongside as your Luna ?

" The people deserve something better than that dirty maid " She added .

" THAT'S ENOUGH!" I bursted angrily.

" Get out of my office " I said trying to calm down.

" Can't bare the truth Lorenzo ? You'd come running to me sooner or later , you and I know only me can handle all your demons .

" The earlier you accept that the better it will be for the both of us " she said smiling sweetly.

" Are you deaf ?I said get the fuck out " I screamed angrily and she stormed out of my office.

I ran my fingers in my hair frustratedly .
