Chapter 68 The Book Of Life Appears
The sun cast dappled shadows across the lush garden, where the young Luna Bonnie and Isabella sat surrounded by the fragrant blooms. The air was filled with the sweet scent of jasmine, and the vibrant colours danced in the gentle breeze. It was a sanctuary that felt far removed from the worries plaguing their hearts.
Luna Bonnie had been recovering slowly since the wedding; her spirit was renewed, but she still felt the weight of uncertainty in her heart. With her unwavering resolve, Isabella had taken it upon herself to care for her dear friend. She ensured Bonnie had nourishing meals and ample rest, often bringing herbs from the garden to brew calming teas or concoctions meant to soothe her mind.
One tranquil afternoon, one year after the Alpha disappeared, their laughter filled the air like music as they tended to the blooms. But the sound was soon interrupted by a sudden chill that swept through the garden, causing the leaves to rustle and a shiver to crawl up their spines. A silvery light enveloped them, and before them appeared Selene, the ethereal goddess of the moon.
“Daughters of the moon,” Selene said, her voice soft yet commanding, echoing like a whisper through the trees. “Fear not, for your Alpha lives.”
Both women stood in awe, their hearts pounding in their chests. Selene’s presence brought a comforting warmth, though the gravity of her words weighed heavily on them.
“Seek help from the Book of Life,” she continued, raising her delicate hand to reveal a tome glowing with unearthly light. It floated gently into Isabella’s grasp, resting like a precious treasure.
Isabella exchanged a bewildered glance with Luna Bonnie as they examined the book. Its cover was embossed with intricate symbols that danced as if alive, shimmering under the soft sunlight. Eagerly, they both reached out to pry open the ancient text, but as they did, it resisted their attempts. They pushed and pulled, but the pages remained locked as though they sensed their uncertainty.
Suddenly, the book began to shift. Two large, piercing, cross eyes opened on its cover, scanning the two women with judgment. The eyes glimmered with wisdom, yet they held an air of mischief as if the book were both guardian and trickster.
“Why do you seek my knowledge?” the eyes seemed to say, their gaze unwavering. “What have you to offer?”
Isabella swallowed hard, her heart racing. “We wish to find our Alpha, to know that he is safe,” she declared, feeling the weight of responsibility on her shoulders. “Please, we need your guidance.”
Luna Bonnie nodded, her voice steadier than she felt. “We are searching for answers, for our pack is in turmoil.”
The eyes narrowed suspiciously, and after what felt like an eternity, they blinked. The book began to tremble, and a low whisper filled the air, echoing around them like the rustling of leaves.
“To unlock the secrets I hold, you must the seed of Zeus,” the calm voice warned. “In this world, knowledge has a price. Will you be willing to pay?”
The air grew thick with anticipation as Isabella and Luna exchanged glances, realising the magnitude of what they were being asked. With determination lighting their eyes, Isabella stepped forward. “We will do whatever it takes. Our pack depends on us.”
Selene smiled softly, her form shimmering like starlight. “Then listen closely, daughters of the moon, and prepare yourselves for the path ahead. You must get the seed of Zeus.”
As the goddess's words faded into the cool evening air, the book shifted again, its lock clicking open. The pages rustled, revealing glimpses of knowledge and secrets that shimmered like stardust within.
Isabella and Luna Bonnie leaned closer, heartbeats in sync, ready to uncover the mysteries that could lead them to their lost Alpha and perhaps change the fate of their pack forever.
Try as Luna, Bonnie, and Isabella may, they could not decipher this book. Where would they get a seed from Zeus? A thought filtered through Isabella’s mind. She sent word that her children must appear before her that afternoon after school. Isabella and Luna Bonnie looked at each other, and there was an understanding look in Luna’s eyes as she figured out why Isabella needed her children. Seeds of Zeus
Isabella’s children, Amanda, Idan and Iren, were not just ordinary kids; they were spirited and curious, with a knack for adventure that often led them into extraordinary situations. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting golden rays through the garden, Isabella and Luna Bonnie prepared with excitement and apprehension for their arrival. Luna Bonnie paced, her thoughts racing. “What if they can’t help? What if we can’t find the seed?” she fretted, running her fingers through her hair.
Isabella placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “We must have faith. The Book of Life might hold the answers we seek, but we need their ingenuity and youth to understand it. They bring a different perspective.”
When Amanda, Idan and Iren finally arrived, their laughter echoed through the garden, chasing away the lingering shadows of doubt. Isabella quickly gathered them around the old oak tree, its gnarled and ancient roots symbolising strength and wisdom.
“Kids,” Isabella began, “I need your help with something significant. Do you know how some stories say Zeus, the king of the gods, had seeds that could bring unimaginable power? We’re looking for something like that—a way to help our Luna.”
Aiden raised an eyebrow, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. “Seeds from Zeus? Sounds epic! Do you think we’ll get to meet him?”
Amanda’s eyes sparkled with curiosity. “What do we have to do?”
Luna Bonnie stepped forward, holding the glowing Book of Life. “This book seems to be a key, but we can’t decipher it. Perhaps your imagination and knowledge will help us unlock its secrets.”
The children leaned closer, their excitement palpable as they touched the shimmering pages. As they flipped through the book, images appeared, swirling with vibrant colours and enchanting tales of heroes and mythical journeys. Each illustration spoke of challenges, quests, and the bonds of love and friendship that could overcome any obstacle.
Then, Amanda stopped suddenly, pointing at a drawing depicting a majestic tree adorned with golden fruit. “Look! That tree... it looks like that’s where we should start?” Isabella laughed and said, “No, no, no! Amanda, I believe you and your brothers are the seeds we seek.”
A sense of urgency filled the air. Isabella nodded, her heart racing. “You're right! This tree could be the clue we need. But we must be careful; finding it won’t be easy.”
“Where do we even begin?” Aiden asked, glancing at his mother.
“Legend says that the tree can be found at the peak of Mount Olympus,” Luna Bonnie explained, her voice steadying as a sense of purpose washed over her. “But we’ll need guidance to reach it. I believe the spirits of the forest can lead us.”
Amanda said, “Mom, you teleportus there. . The decision was made: they would set out at dawn, combining Luna Bonnie's wisdom, Isabella's powers, and the children's powers and skills to seek out the elusive tree.
They entered the lush gardens at Olympus and Zeus stood before them. He said my seeds, I see you come to seek me for advice. The children nodded their heads. He said return to your home at twelve pm tonight open the book by joining hands. It will reveal the where about of your beloved Alpha.
They returned home and did as Zeus instructed. They saw their Alpha wandering on an island thst looked uninhabited. He did not look as if he knows himself. Luna Bonnie began to weep as she watched.
Realizing they had located the Alpha on an uninhabited island was both a relief and a challenge. Aiden's adventurous spirit kicked in. “Okay, if we need a plane or a helicopter, let’s figure out how to make that happen!”Elara nodded eagerly, her mind racing with ideas. “What if we could use the Book of Life to summon one? It’s magic, after all! There must be a way.”
Isabella exchanged glances with Luna Bonnie, who looked intrigued yet concerned. “Summoning a plane or helicopter might be tricky. We need to be careful about how we use this power,” Luna said.
“Let’s read more,” Isabella suggested, guiding the children back to the Book of Life. They flipped through its pages, searching for anything that might help them reach the Alpha.
As they leafed through the colorful illustrations and ancient texts, they stumbled upon a section that illustrated a majestic phoenix. The text read, *“To call forth the skies, seek the firebird of legend. Its flames will carry you beyond the mundane.”*
Amanda’s eyes widened. “A firebird! That sounds amazing! We should find it!”
“But where do we start?” Idan asked, looking around as if the answer would magically appear.
Luna Bonnie leaned in closer to the illustrations. “The phoenix is known to nest on mountain peaks. There are some nearby—if we can find it, maybe we can ask it for help.”
Isabella said let us talk to Old Alpha Jacon and Beta Ian. They will a solution. True to her word. They sent out some warriors to Nathan who took thrm to the islands they hired a helicopter and headed to the island they found the Alpha but his face was blank. He could not recognise his brother
How would they mrnd their Alpha?
