“And Catherine has a heart as deep as I have: the sea could be readily contained in that horse-trough as her whole affection be monopolised by him. Tush! He is scarcely a degree dearer to her than her dog, or her horse. It is not in him to be loved like me: how can she love in him what he has not?” — Heathcliff Earnshaw.
After the tumultuous car ride, I had managed to step in Cole's spacious condo, hanging onto a thread of self composure. My last two brain cells were drained of any energy because of being constantly horny ever since I stepped in the car. Although, my partner was quite unmoved. We entered through the door, after seeing which Cole came rushing in my direction, offering me a hug. I eagerly wrapped my arms around him, embracing him tightly. The man beside me coughed intentionally, making us break away, “Toby, are you okay? You look pale.”
No. I was not okay, “Yes.” I forced a smile, at which Alexander chuckle at my side, stepping towards the crowd, perfectly blending in. “Now tell me, what’s up?” Cole grabbed me by my arm, dragging me to the secluded corner, away from prying eyes. Music blared from the loudspeakers, pissing me off even more.
“Dude is fucking giving me blue balls,” I complained in a angry voice, “He’s fucking touched me throughout the whole car ride. But when I went in for a kiss, fucker backed off. I'm so turned on and I don’t know what to do.” I massaged my temple, shrugging my shoulders.
“Ah, I know just the trick,” He mused with a mischievous smile on his face, “first of all, help yourself with however many beers you'd like,” He gestured to the table stacked with six pack beers, then he fixated his gaze on me again, “Flirt with any girl after you get partially drunk. Remember, don't get stone cold drunk. And then watch what happens.”
I ran the plan through my brain for a hundred times before nodding a yes of affirmation, “And, the spare room is at your disposal. Go straight from here,” I followed his finger which he held up to the corridor attached to the drawing room, “and turn to the right.” I huffed a sigh of relief because of my presumption of this plan working. He snickered after seeing me throw him an expression of someone left high and dry, patting my shoulder before going back to the role of amiable host.
Shouldering through the buzzing crowd, I made my way to the table, wanting to pick the spare beer can that lay infront of me, “Excuse me, that’s mine,” The husky voice whispered in my ear, running shivers down my spine. I froze on spot, while he trailed his hand down mine, his warm finger pads brushing my knuckles before taking the can, “Fuck you, man. Fuck you.” I growled in a not-so-subtle tone, glaring daggers at him. He waved his hand dismissively, his smirk widening as he travelled back to the pack of jocks who surrounded him like the hungry people that gathered around the king.
Helping myself with another can, I turned to face two girls who were chatting away. I saw one of them eye me discreetly, after giving her companion a sign to leave. The other followed suit, muttering an excuse me as she left our side. My gaze travelled down her torso, eyes gleaming with lust, “What's your name?” I asked, stepping close to her. She was wearing a tight black dress that descended to her thighs, exposing her shapely legs. Her brown hair fell as curls to her breasts, hugging her flawless figure in all the right ways.
“Vanessa.” A salacious smile was playing at her lips, and my subconscious patted me on the back. I was still the womanizer I used to be before this Alexander messed my promiscuous life up. Opening the beer can with a fizz, I raised it to my lips, the bitter frothy liquid flowing down my throat, “You look ravishing, Vanessa.” I observed, feeling the bitter taste of the liquid I had consumed on my tongue. My taste buds rolled over at the taste of alcohol, craving more of it, “You’re not too bad yourself.” She whispered, blue eyes flickering to my body, stopping down at my crotch. Despite the blatant flirting, I wasn’t getting that turned on as I was supposed to be. I knew it was because I wanted to feel him inside me, and not make someone else feel me inside them.
She leaned herself in my direction, grabbing a handful of my shirt, guiding her manicured finger nail all the way up to the bare chest that was left open by the shirt, “How about we…,” She trailed off, gazing intently at me for a reaction. I looked around me, when my eyes caught a very engaged Cole talking to Alexander, pointing at something in my direction. I tore my gaze away from a perpetual source of drama, focusing on the girl, “I say,” I whispered in hear ear, pushing away a stray lock of her hair, “Why not?” I heard her breath halt for a few moments, before she brushed her lips against mine, “Yeah, why not?”
“Because he’s with me,” A voice thundered from behind her, making her attention snap back at the interrupter, as he glowered at me, fury blazing off his grey orbs, “We need to have a moment, Tobias. Come with me.”
