Chapter 65 CHAPTER 66: Till Death do us Part
William
The next morning, I woke up in Hazel’s bed with just one thought - to seal the deal with her. I had waited for too long. I loved her, she loved me and I could not imagine my life without her. I turned to face her as I watched her sleep peacefully, the duvet away. I pushed the hair away from her face, my touch making her stir in her sleep. Then she opened her eyes slowly, pushed up on all fours and climbed on top of me and laid face down on my body. I loved the feeling of having her splay on top of me, a habit she had learned, and I had grown to love. I rubbed her back as she snuggled close and buried her face in my neck. I relished the feeling of holding her close and would do anything for it to remain so. Then she pressed her mouth to mine. God, she tasted good, it felt good.
“Hey love” she whispered and smiled at me.
“Hey baby, I love waking up with you in my arms” I whispered back. Then she reached down between my legs, running her palm up along my stiffening cock.
I groaned, grinning. “Damn girl, you sure know how to tease a brother” I said, eliciting giggles from her.
Hazel
“This isn’t a tease,” I whispered, adjusting my body, so I could stroke him through his pajamas. Then he took over by turning me to my back on the bed. He gently slid down my nightwear as he kissed and sucked my nipples. Then he hiked my gown up while staring into my eyes as he slid one hand down the front of my panties, cupping my warm pussy. I lifted slightly, giving him some room, purring with ecstasy as he touched me.
“Mm, that feels good” I said involuntarily before I came back to my senses.
“Yes”? He asked, and I nodded as his fingers curled, teasing me. I dug my fingers into his hair as he peeled my panties aside. He slid down my body to my groin and tasted me, licking and flicking his tongue along my folds. I arched my back, cursing as pleasure burrowed into my skull.
“Ooh, she can cuss,” he said in a playful tone.
“Shut up” I moaned, pulling his hair. He smirked as he sank his fingers inside of me.
“You are a naughty girl, Hazel, and I can’t wait to bury myself inside you” he groaned.
“Mm, fuck, how about you stop teasing and make me come?”
“Oh, you’re a demanding one today,” he says, his eyes shining with excitement. “I like it.”
“Should I be pushier? Do you like it when I tell you what I want?”
“I love it,” he said in a husky voice. I gasped as his fingers found a perfect spot. I had never talked dirty before, but William’s confidence unlocked something inside of me.
“I like it when you lick me,” I said, feeling shy, but pressing past it.
“Like this?” He started lapping at me softly.
“Oh, fuck, yes, like that. I like when you lick with the tip of your tongue, right there, in little circles...fuck, yes, okay, that’s it. Keep doing that.” I said, clenching my jaw in ecstasy. His fingers slid in and out as he obeyed my commands and I felt filthy, strong, in control, and beautiful as he did my bidding.
“You’re dripping down my palm,” he said. He blushed and used my hand to hide my face but he chuckled and kept licking me. At some point, I was practically screaming, my head felt like it would explode as every muscle in my body tensed into an incredible, ear-splitting, leg-shattering, back-breaking orgasm.
I came hard in waves, but he didn’t stop, not for a second. I came and came, moaning, whispering his name, until I couldn’t take it anymore and dragged his mouth away from my quivering pussy. He pulled back, kissing me, holding me against him.
“Good girl,” he said, nibbling my lower lip. “You’re such a good girl. You okay?”
“More than okay,” I said, blinking.
Out of nowhere, I felt very bold.
“William. I want something from you.”
He raised his eyebrows “Yes, love?”
“I want you to fuck me.”
He turned to look at me, trying to gauge if I was serious or not.
“Please,” I whispered, a tingling running down into my core.
He cups my chin. “I’d never say no to you.”
Slowly, he peeled his pants off then rubbed the tip of his cock against me, stroking himself, getting his shaft soaked with my juices. Then his cock filled me as he slid back. I gasped, back arching. Fuck, I forgot how big he was, how it spread me open.
He kissed my lips, lavishing praise on me. “You feel so fucking good, love,” he murmured. “This is what I need, right here. You and me.”
“You and me,” I echoed, staring him in the eyes. He kissed every inch of me, forehead pressed to mine. I gasped, grinding into him, our hips hitting that perfect rhythm. The only sound in the room was our moans as we crescendoed together, building higher and higher.
I had never felt so connected with another human before in my life, never gotten on a roll like this before, and as I came, I felt him stiffen too, our orgasms mingling, building on each other until I burst, breaking into pieces, coming with his name on my lips.
As we finished, he lay on top of me, both of us breathing hard before he rolled over, taking me with him, my head on his chest. His heart beat, fast and steady as he absently twirled a strand of my hair around one finger.
Hazel
It was already midday when we decided to spend the day at the beach.
“Mommy!” The sudden shout snapped my thoughts as Ethan came running across the sand, his little face brimming with joy. William followed, a soft smile on his face that spoke volumes. As Ethan reached me, he threw his tiny arms around my legs. This was my world, right here—the innocence of my child and the man who stood by us when the nights were darkest.
As we walked down the road, I looked up at William, his unwavering support during the darkest days, his gentle love a constant in my life. He had been my rock, the anchor that kept me afloat during the turbulent storms of single motherhood. I couldn’t help but feel that, despite the uncertainties of life, the path we were on was the right one. The challenges of yesterday had brought unexpected blessings, and as long as we were together, I was ready to face whatever tomorrow might bring.
Turning to Williams, I saw the future in his eyes, a promise of new beginnings. “Let’s go home, Williams,” I whispered while he nodded and wrapped his arms around me.
Hazel
After the fun day we had at the beach, as we got home, William surprised me by opting to cook dinner.
“I didn’t know you could cook,” I said, raising my brows in surprise.
“There are a lot of things you do not know about my love and I can’t wait for you to find out. I smiled as I handed Ethan, who had slept halfway home, to the nanny to take care of while I got up to freshen up. After freshening up, I lay on the bed. The next thing I knew, William was shaking me awake, and it was dark all over. He was dressed casually in a blue t-shirt and black pants.
“Hey baby, food is ready” he said, kissing my cheeks. I nodded
“I’ll come down in a minute, let me wash my face” I said.
As I got out of the room, there was jazz music playing softly in the background. I waved it aside and just thought maybe William was in the mood for jazz tonight.
Getting to the dining room, my jaw dropped in astonishment at what I saw. The dinner table was set with fine china, crystal glass and elegant silverware. Then in the middle of it was a bottle of champagne buried in ice while lighted candles decorated the table, casting a soft glow.
I walked slowly into the living room and noticed there were flower petals strewn all over the floor and around the dining area. I gasped as my gaze zeroed in on William, standing beside the table with a bouquet of roses that mirrored the blush creeping up my cheeks. "Wow, what is happening, Will?"
“Wow, what is happening Will,” I whispered.
He extended the flowers to me. “I just thought of making you a home-cooked meal in appreciation for making me a better man”, he said.
“Wow, this is…a lot. You didn’t really have to stress this much” I said, feeling lost for words.
“I don’t mind as long as you like it, because you deserve this and more,” he said. I strode to him and wrapped my arms around him as he buried himself in my neck and kissed me.
As we sat across from each other after the sumptuous meal he prepared, the candlelight creating a warm ambiance, he reached across the table and took my hand and gazed lovingly at me with his blue expressive eyes.
"Hazel," he said, his voice low and husky. " Our love story hasn’t been perfect, no one’s is, but recently I have come to realize that I’d rather go through life's ups and downs with you than to have it easy with anyone else. You are smart, beautiful, temperamental, stubborn, and your heart is big as the ocean and, after all of that, I have come to realize you are still my favorite person and I cannot imagine going through life without you. You have taught me what love is, and you’ve shown me what living and loving really feels like. I feel alive, and I look up every day because I know you are in it.
"I understand if you're not ready, but I am ready to go all the way with you, even now”. His voice broke slightly as tears shimmered in my eyes. Then he continued “I don’t want to live another day without you. I love waking up to you lying on my body, I love to smell your hair, I love to hold you close to me. I love waking up to you next to me” then he stood up and came to my side of the room and stood in front of me. I had tears streaming down my face.
“What are you doing?” I asked in a panicked voice.
“Hazel, these two years with you have been great. I have gotten everything I ever wanted, but it still doesn’t feel right and that’s because the only thing I want more than anything is you. I want to be anywhere you are. I’ll move heaven and earth to be with you. Then he went on one knee as my eyes widened in shock.
“Hazel Thorn, will you do me the honor of remarrying me”?
I gasped as my hand flew to my mouth as he knelt there waiting for my reply. I knelt down close to him as I bobbed my head up and down in affirmation.
“Yes!” he chuckled, then held my left hand and slid a ring into my third finger. He stood at his feet helping me up too. Then he wrapped me in a soul-crushing hug. I sobbed in his arms like a little girl.
“I love you so much baby”
“I love you too, Will,” I replied.

Sunlight streamed through the window of our cozy London flat, illuminating the laughter lines around my wife, Hazel’s eyes, as she chased our giggling toddler, Ethan, through the living room. I watched them as a warm contentment settled over me. Then I turned to the other side of the room where my mother was laying out the table for our dinner. I had almost lost everything -Hazel, Ethan, my mother, a happy life, but through the trials, we had found our way back to each other. I had started out as a cold, unyielding and bitter man, but through it all, Hazel had taught me what it felt to love and be loved and to forgive with all my heart. I finally found my redemption in her arms, guiding me, holding me and loving me fiercely.
And for us, for Hazel, Ethan, and me, it was a new beginning, subtle and profound, as we built our future together, our bonds strengthened not by debts or duty, but by choice and love. And as the stars twinkled into existence, heralding the dark, I felt a peace settle around us—the peace of a chapter closing gently, promising the calm of new beginnings and in this new beginning, our love story finally felt complete.
