I pulled out in time to avoid the snap of her teeth. Immediately after, I felt her leg move, and twisted my hips just in time to block her from giving me a full-on knee to the balls, pulling her tighter against me. A delighted laugh burst from me, as dark as my soul. "That's it, my vita. Fight. Fight me. You won't win."
"The hell I won't," she swore. She started to struggle, but I had her trapped between me and the bed.
Another drop of blood welled along her jawline where I'd nicked her when she tried to knee me. I licked it clean, pressing a kiss to the small wound before I moved to her sweet mouth and sucked at her bottom lip. She turned her head away, and I kissed her jaw. Her throat. Her shoulder.
She held herself stiff, denying the inferno that burned between us. Without warning, I shoved her back onto the bed and crawled on top of her before she could react, my weight holding her down and my knife still in my hand. When she tried to get away, I pressed the blade against her throat. "Don't." She glared up at me, her bare chest rising and falling with each heavy breath. "I hate you," she blurted.
"Good," I told her. "At least you're feeling something."
My finger traced the lines carved into her previously flawless flesh, followed by my mouth. She didn't say a word. Didn't flinch. Even though I knew it had to still hurt. "I'll fucking flay him alive for doing this to you," I murmured with my lips against her mutilated skin.
The tang of her blood still on my tongue and my knife still pressed against her throat, I sucked one hardened nipple into my mouth, taking it between my teeth. I bit her just hard enough to get a reaction, then eased the pain with my lips and tongue before kissing my way over to the other one.
Veda tensed when I reached it, waiting for the pain, and moaning when it never came. In disappointment? Because as much as she tried to play it off like she didn't like this, I saw the way her blood raced, flushing her face and chest. Heard the way her breath caught in her lungs. Running my hand down her ribcage and over the curve of her belly, I slid it beneath the waistband of her shorts to cup her pussy in my palm. I felt the way she relaxed her thighs, parting them just enough to give me room to maneuver while still giving off the facade that she was resisting. I dipped my middle finger between her folds. She was soaking wet. Her clit swollen. I added another finger and pushed them both deep inside of her, moaning as her body tightened around them.
Rising up, I stabbed the knife into the mattress beside her, then yanked her shorts down over her hips and legs. She tried to roll away, but I caught her by the hips and flipped her onto her stomach, then slapped her ass hard enough to leave my palm print.
"Goddammit! Let me go!"
"No," I told her. One hand on the center of her back to hold her in place, I pushed my pants down just far enough to get my cock free, then gripped both her legs and spread them wide. Lowering my weight over her so she couldn't get away, I slid one arm under hips as she cursed me to hell and back and entered her from behind with one stroke, shuddering when her wet heat gripped my swollen cock, her sweet pussy so fucking tight.
Holy fuck. I had to hold off for a few seconds, so I didn't come right then and there.
Veda was like a wild thing beneath me, bucking her hips and clawing at the comforter, screaming at me to get off of her. But I couldn't, even if I fucking wanted to. Which I didn't.
Holding myself up on one forearm, I pulled out and then pushed back in, deeper this time, until I was balls deep. With a growl, I started to fuck her in earnest, the feel of her sweet pussy squeezing my cock too much, and unable to help myself, I sank my teeth into the muscle between her neck and shoulder. Not enough to break the skin. Just enough to hold her beneath me. Sounds I didn't recognize as my own were torn from my throat with every thrust.
Faster and harder, I drove into her. And it still wasn't enough. I pulled out, flipped her over, and entered her again. Veda pushed at my shoulders and screamed in my face, her eyes wild. And I knew it wasn't me she was seeing. Wasn't me she was hitting.
I let her take out her anger on me, just as I was taking out mine on her. "You're mine," I growled into her face. "MINE."
"Fuck you!" she cried, even as her back arched and her body shuddered beneath me.
"Yes," I told her. "Yes, vita. Come for me, amore. Fucking come for me. NOW, Veda. Fuck…now!"
With a cry, she obeyed me, her body jerking and her pussy contracting around my cock. I came so hard nothing coherent came out of my mouth. I was like an animal, thrusting deep, emptying myself deep inside of her as my arms gave out and I collapsed on top of her.
For a few seconds, I couldn't move, dragging ragged breaths in and out of my lungs. Then I rolled off of her and pulled her against me until she was sprawled across my chest, both of us panting as we tried to catch our breath.
"I hate you," she whispered.
"I know, amore." Grabbing the edge of the comforter, I pulled it over both of us and held her tight as she fell asleep. Once she was breathing deep and steady, her body relaxed, I reached over and found the knife, closed it, and laid it on the nightstand beside me. Then I turned off the light.
It was a long time before I fell asleep.
