The Bar

Gavin parks his car in front of the door to the bar and before he gets out he takes out his phone. (Time to make a couple of phone calls first.) \[Hey Santiago, I wanted to let you and mom know that Bella had her baby.\] \[What gender son?\] \[It’s a boy.\] \[How is she?\] \[She is fine other then wanting to come home which I am working on something tonight. She informed me that she has hired two spies and I plan on taking to the female tonight, I am outside of the bar now as we speak.\] \[Good, I will call my father and let him know, this way no one will know that you were in connect with him.\] \[Ok, because that was my next call.\] \[Bye son, take care.\] \[will do.\] He then pockets his phone, gets out of the car and walks up to the door of the bar. He stands at the entrance and scans the bar over. Noticing that there is a female bartender fitting the description of the spy that Bella has given him.

He gets to the bar and addresses the young woman. “Hi there love, how long has a beautiful little thing such as yourself been working here?” He asked her. “Not long Just about five months, and don’t call me love!” she says in a sassy tone of voice. “I don’t mean to offend you, but I am here on my sister Bella’s behalf.” “Oh, you are? What’s your name?” “Gavin, Gavin Chavez!” “Oh, well I’m Pilar! Nice to meet you.” “Why isn’t my sister out of her predicament yet?” He asked her in a whispered tone. “She hasn’t been allowed to come into the bar when she started to show more of her pregnancy, my brother and I will contact Bruno our boss as soon as she makes it back.” She explained also in a whisper. “She just had the baby so I am not she when that would ne if ever.” “I will talk to Bruno tonight and see what he wants to do, the head of the Italian Mafia assumes that her rescue could take years, I was hoping to do it sooner and that is when she stopped coming into work.” “I see! Here is my number, please get ahold of me when there is a solid plan of getting her out and away from them.” “Sure, and here is mine.” She says just as he hears footsteps off to the side of him.

“Oh Nix, just the man I came to see.” He says as he swings the bar stool in his direction. “Then why didn’t you come to the office to see me?” “I got distract by this beautiful little thing here, so can you really blame me?” “I guess not.” Phoenix says as Gavin gets up of the stool walking towards him. “Here!” Gavin says as he hands an envelope to him. “What’s this?” He asked. “Bella your wife had your son tonight this is the birth certificate.” Phoenix opens the envelope and unfolds the form that was inside. “Thanks, you came through, this is exactly what I wanted.” “Your welcome man. I have to go now.” “Wait! How’s my sister doing?” “Melissa? I am going to be sending that bitch back to you, just don’t be surprised if it’s in a body bag!” Gavin says as he turns around and leaves the bar. “So where were you instead of the hospital with your so-called-wife?” Ashton asked Phoenix. “With an informant. I will be going back after the bar closes tonight. I need you to leave here now and oversee that shipment that we are getting tonight.” “Ok, but you do know that there is no visiting hours for new fathers right?” “I don’t care right now I will go see my son tomorrow.”

“Not Bella?” “Why should I? she made it perfectly clear that she is not and will not be in love with me.” Phoenix says heading back in the direction of his office. Ashton walks out to complete the task that was ordered of him. (He acts like the bar is his, I know that we are co-leaders of our gang, but giving orders on both ends is going to stop and soon!)

Chavez Estate

Zanders just got off the phone with his oldest son, he just became a great-grandfather to his granddaughter’s son. He leaves his office and walks in the direction of Santos’ office to inform him on the information and what Gavin did to deceive Phoenix. Knocking on the door he hears Santos’ voice from behind the door. “Come in!” Zanders opens the door walking in and closing the door behind him. “Bella just had her baby!!!” He says excitedly just realizing who is also in the room with him. “Oh, sorry Antonio!” “No, it’s ok, how is she?” “She is fine. Gavin was with her the whole time, he filled out a fake birth certificate and handed it over to our man in City Hall, he gave him extra or covering it up and placing it in an envelope to make it look authentic.” “That’s good.” Antonio says in a sad voice. “Gavin is also talking to the female spy of Bruno’s, he plans on setting up something with her.” He informs the father and son. “Well, that may not go well, she informed Bruno that she hasn’t been in the bar for the past three months. I’ll get in touch with Franco and set up a meeting, I will let you when that is going to be. Antonio I want you and your team preset as well.” They both nod their heads to Santos and Zanders left the room. “Antonio I need you to go and receive the shipment tonight, take who you trust with you. Heilo has reported movement in our shipping yard, he believes it to be the Black Serpents trying to mess with our containers, make sure your team is armed tonight going in.” “Yes dad!” He says and walks out to prepare him and his team for tonight.

Across Town

Pilar and Luther get’s home rom the bar that night, as soon as they enter their apartment Pilar starts pacing the living room as he takes out his phone and dials their boss. “Can you stop, your making me anxious.” She tops just as the other line picks up. \[Luther?\] \[Boss, Gavin Chavez made contact with Pilar tonight. I will put her on the phone to tell you how it went down.\] \[Hi boss, he pretended to flirt with me before getting to the point of asking why nothing is being done on our end on rescuing his sister. I explained to him that Phoenix stopped her from coming into the bar and we exchanged phones numbers, he wants to contacted on any plans made at this point.\] \[Ok good, keep me informed, it will be less suspicious if he contacts you. If you must, start dating him so it doesn’t get questioned.\] \[Yes boss.\] She says as she hangs up. “Get ready for mission retrieve Bella!” She says to her brother.
