Chapter 80 Chapter Eighty

Chapter 80 Chapter Eighty
Gregory looks over at me, giving me a friendly smile. “I see you brought a guest today.” Gregory says, turning his attention back to Aaron.

Aaron smiles at me. “Yeah, this is Lilly. It’s her first time here. She loves scary movies.”

Gregory smiles at me. “Well, you came to the right place young lady. You guys can head on back to theater room three. The movie is going to start in about ten minutes.”

“Thank you, Gregory.” Aaron says, as he puts his arm around my shoulder leading me towards the hallway with numbered theater rooms.

Once we are out of earshot, I look up at Aaron. “Gregory seems to know you pretty well.”

Aaron smiles. “Yeah, Gregory is the best, I have been coming here since I was like six years old. He’s practically like an extra grandpa to me. He’s super cool, you will have to come listen to some of his stories sometime. You will get a kick out of them.” Aaron laughs, and I can tell he has a lot of good memories here.

“I would like that.” I say smiling at him.

Aaron opens the door to theater room three and we walk in. My eyes widen in shock. This is not what I was expecting at all. I have never been to a theater that looks like this in my entire life. “This is amazing.” I say, still looking around at everything.

Aaron chuckles. “You like it baby?”

Do I like it? How could I not like it? This is the most incredible thing I have ever seen. This is like a personal theater room. There are maybe about ten chairs total. Not like normal chairs that flip down and have the cupholders on them, I am talking like full blown recliners. The screen is humongous, so big you might have to lay down to be able to see the whole thing.

Over along one wall there is a concession bar. Like the kind you would normally buy your popcorn, candy, sodas or whatever else you want at before you come into the room. This one is just here, in the room. With what looks like every possible thing you could imagine in it. Along another wall there is a sign above a door that says restroom. A restroom right here? You don’t even have to leave the room; you can just go.

“Yes, this is incredible. I have never seen anything like this before.” I say still looking around to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Aaron laughs. "Gregory believes in comfort for his viewers. He always says you can't enjoy a movie with thirty to forty other people talking during the movie."

I never thought about it like that, but he's right. There is always those people that talk throughout the whole movie or are crunching loudly on food. Then you have those people that make fun of the movie the whole time, making it impossible to enjoy the movie. "I think he's right. This has got to be one of the nicest movies I have ever watched and it hasnt even started yet."

Aaron smiles and grabs my hand, pulling me towards two recliners in the center of the room. We sit down side by side, but he doesn't let go of my hand. "Did you want any snacks or anything baby?"

I shake my head. "No I'm okay for right now. Thank you though."

"Okay baby. If you change your mind just let me know."

I smile at him. The movie starts and I look around again realizing we are the only two people in here. "Are we the only ones watching the movie?" I ask a little confused, I know there is only a few seats but still it's a movie theater.

Aaron gives me a strange smile. "We have this room to ourselves."

"What do you mean?"

Aaron chuckles. "Every time I come here, Gregory gives me a room to myself. He knows I don't really like watching movies with other people so he just gives me a private room.

I laugh. "Well aren't you fancy. But seriously how do you watch scary movies by yourself? Or do you watch other movies when you are alone?" I ask smirking a little.

"It's always scary movies baby." Aaron winks at me. "Don't worry if you get too scared you can come sit in my chair with me."

I roll my eyes. "There isn't any room in your chair for me."

"You can sit right here baby." Aaron pats his lap and I laugh. I should have known that was coming.

"I will keep that in mind."

Aaron brings my hand up to his mouth and kisses the back of it. We turn our attention to the movie, and I feel like I am surrounded on all sides by this giant screen. It is so big it makes you feel like you are watching in 3-D. This is going to be interesting.

Just as I thought it only took about ten minutes for me to jump almost completely out of my seat and scream like a freaking scaredy puss. Aaron laughs and pats his lap. "Don't forget baby, I can protect you better if you are sitting right here."

I laugh, but on the inside I am definitely considering it. I mean I know sitting on his lap won't keep me from getting scared, but it would at least make me feel safe and warm. I'm sure he will also keep me distracted if I was sitting over there with him. He hasn't even been watching the movie. He has been watching me.
