Chapter 56 Chapter Fifty-Six
A whore, that definitely has to be what he thinks of me now. I know he was fine with me kissing and messing around with the other guys in front of him, but those are his friends. He hates Ryder, they are practically mortal enemies. I have a feeling he won’t want to see me anymore after today.
Logan laughs but it sounds forced and unnatural. “It’s okay baby. You can tell them I’m your favorite. They will get over it.”
I laugh. “I am not going to say that. You are all my favorite. How about that?”
Logan narrows his eyes at me and a wave of guilt rushes over me. “Fine, don’t admit I’m your favorite. I don’t want to see these whine bags crying anyway.” I should have just said he was my favorite. I’m sure he is already mad at me, I shouldn’t keep adding fuel to the fire.
I stand up from the stool and walk over to where Logan is standing. Walking behind him I wrap my arms around his shoulders and lean up on my tip toes so I can whisper in his ear. “I am so sorry. I will explain everything later. Please don’t be mad at me.”
Logan turns his head, so our lips are only inches apart. He gives me one quick peck on the lips, the kind of kiss you would give your grandma, not the kind you give to someone that is supposed to be your girlfriend or whatever we are supposed to be. “Okay babe.”
“Harrison, you go first.” I say still holding on to Logan, loving the feeling of his strong back pressed against me.
“Ha, screw all of you guys. I am her favorite.” Harrison kisses my cheek and walks over to the table lining the pool stick up with the cue ball.
Harrison takes his time and after what seems like forever, he finally hits the ball. The balls spread out around the table, with a satisfying crack noise from the cue ball hitting the other balls. “Who’s next?” Harrison asks looking at me.
“Calvin, you go next.” I say rubbing my fingers around in small circles on Logan’s chest.
Calvin winks at me. “Looks like I’m her next favorite. Sorry to break the news to you Logan.”
Logan flips him off and I laugh. “Screw you dude. She’s holding me right now, not you.”
Calvin sticks his tongue out in a childish manner and I laugh harder. Calvin lines the pool stick with the cue ball and hits it. He didn’t take nearly as long as Harrison did. One of the striped balls goes in the corner pocket and Calvin throws his hands in the air victoriously. “Fuck yeah, look at that shit.”
Logan laughs shaking his head. “Brandon you go next.” Logan says pointing to Brandon.
“Hey, what the hell dude? You were supposed to let Lilly choose. So, we would know who her next favorite is.” Brandon says sounding offended.
“That’s not what I was doing.” I chime in.
“If you say so baby.” Brandon says. “But I still wanted to know who you would choose next.”
I roll my eyes laughing. Brandon positions himself at the pool table getting ready to hit the ball. Right as he’s about to hit the ball, Aaron walks up behind him and grabs his ass making Brandon jump. Brandon hits the pool stick against the cue ball but it doesn’t hit any of the other balls. “What the hell dude?” Brandon says punching Aaron’s arm. “I need a do over.”
“No do overs.” Logan chimes in laughing.
Brandon pouts. “That’s not fair though.”
“Oh well.” Logan says shrugging and I laugh.
“You guy’s argue like a old married couple.” I say laughing.
Aaron puts his arm around Brandon, kissing him on the cheek. “You didn’t know we were married baby?”
I shake my head. “No, I didn’t, but that would explain a lot. Since you guys are married, maybe you should stop flirting with me so much. Maybe that’s why you guys are constantly arguing.”
Brandon shrugs Aaron’s arm off his shoulder. “I want a divorce dude; Lilly is way hotter.” He says to Aaron and we all laugh.
“You ruined a marriage, are you proud of yourself?” Aaron asks me sounding hurt.
I burst out laughing. “I am so sorry I ruined your marriage maybe I can make it up to you guys sometime.” I wink and they look at each other and back to me.
“When?” They ask simultaneously.
“Desperate much?” Logan asks chuckling.
“If it means I get to be with Lilly, then yeah. I am desperate as fuck dude.” Brandon says.
“Me too.” Aaron chimes in.
Calvin laughs. “Are we going to play the game or try to get in Lilly’s pants?”
“We could watch a movie. I’m not really feeling the game anymore.” Aaron says.
Logan shrugs. “Sounds good to me. How about you baby? You want to watch a movie?” Logan asks me.
I smile at him. “That sounds fun to me.”
“You want to watch a scary movie?” Logan asks smirking at me.
“I really hate you sometimes. Did you know that?” I say moving away from Logan.
Logan and Aaron burst out laughing. “What’s so funny?” Brandon asks looking between the three of us.
“They are being assholes.” I say crossing my arms over my chest.
“Lilly here ‘loves’ scary movies, but she will jump straight out of her pants every time something happens.” Logan says laughing.
Brandon smirks. “It’s okay baby. We will protect you.”
"You better protect me." I say pointing at him.
We all make our way over to the theater style area. Aaron and Logan flop down on the couch, Logan pats the cushion next to him and I sit down, snuggling in close to him.
Harrison, Calvin, and Brandon all sit down in the recliners on each side of the couch. Aaron flips through the streaming sites and lands on a scary movie. Of course he did. Why wouldn't they want to torture me?
I turn to look at Aaron and he smirks at me. "Don't worry baby I got you." He pats my thigh and I smack his hand making everyone laugh.
"You are mean!" I say pointing at him.
Logan puts his arm around my shoulder laughing, and I lean back against his chest grabbing his hand to hold him close to me. "Hey Brandon will you turn off the lights?" Logan asks and Brandon huffs.
"I guess." Brandon says, standing up and walking to the light switch across the room. He turns the light off and the basement suddenly looks like a basement. Dark and creepy, the kind I'm scared of and we are about to watch a scary movie. Just great!
