Chapter 40 Chapter Forty
Raikin narrows his eyes, glaring at me. I laugh as we hit the puck back and forth, he scores, I score, he scores and I score. This happens over and over until we are tied at an even six points each.
“This next point wins.” Reece says as me and Raikin get ready for the last round.
We hit it back and forth a few times. Then Lilly comes in, stopping us both. “Do I look okay?” She asks rubbing her arm nervously.
We all look at her, standing in the doorway, shifting from foot to foot, rubbing her arm. She looks amazing. Absolutely amazing. Her hair is down falling halfway down her back, she curled it. Lilly is wearing a black long sleeve, skin tight dress. It hits about mid thigh. Showing off her thick sexy legs. Her breasts are on full display, cleavage spilling out of the top of her dress. She has on a pair of black shiny heels. She has a little bit of makeup on, making her blue eyes pop. Her lips are painted bright red, and it just makes me want to kiss her.
“Wow.” Reece says.
“You look-“ Raikin says and I cut him off finishing his sentence.
“Fucking amazing.” I say finishing what we were all thinking.
Her eyes light up, and she bites her bottom lip. Looking at the three of us. “Really?” She asks.
“Definitely.” I say.
Just then the air hockey puck, floats into my goal, making a loud clanking noise. We all look. “I won! I told you asshole, I always win.” Raikin says throwing his hands in the air.
Reece, Lilly and I all burst out laughing. “That doesn’t count dickhead. You didn’t even hit the damn thing.” I say shaking my head at Raikin.
“The puck went into your goal. Which means I won!”
I roll my eyes, and Lilly snorts making us all laugh even harder. Her face turns bright red, making her look even more beautiful. “Oh my god. I can’t believe I just snorted!” She says eyes wide.
We all laugh. “It’s okay baby. It was cute.”
She shakes her head. “No, it wasn’t.” She says laughing.
“You ready to go to the party baby?” Reece asks, walking over to Lilly.
She bites her bottom lip again. “Yeah. I guess so.”
“You are going to be the sexiest one there baby.” I say walking over and kissing Lilly on the cheek.
She rolls her eyes, but she laughs. “Whatever you say.”
We all pile into Reece’s car. Reece drives, Raikin sits up front, and I sit in the back with Lilly. The drive to the party takes about an hour. Lilly fidgets nervously most of the way there, even when I put my hand on her thigh, trying to calm her down.
“It’s going to be okay baby. You will have fun. I promise.” I say to her, once we pull up outside the fraternity.
Her eyes go wide, looking out the window. “The party is at a fraternity? I thought it was going to be at a house or something not on the college campus.”
“It’s okay baby. You have the three of us. You don’t have to worry about anything or anyone messing with you baby.” I say kissing her cheek.
Reece parks down the street with the rest of the long line of cars. “You guys ready to go in?”
Raikin turns to look at me and then Lilly. “Yeah, we’re ready.” I say taking Lilly’s hand in mine.
Lilly takes a deep breath. “I’m ready.”
I kiss the back of her hand, before getting out of the car. Raikin opens Lilly’s door, helping her out of the car. I watch as Lilly pulls at the bottom of her dress. Fidgeting nervously. “You look great baby. There is nothing to be nervous about.” I say taking her hand in mine.
She smiles at me. “Thank you, Ryder. Thank you for being so sweet to me.”
“Anytime baby.”
Reece grabs Lilly’s other hand, and Raikin takes my other side. We walk together, down the street to the frat house. The closer we get the louder the music gets. You can hear the bass thumping, and people hollering. There are a few people in the yard obviously drunk already, red plastic cups in their hands. They raise their glasses to us when we walk by.
We stop on the front porch, before going inside. “Let’s go have some fun baby.” I say to Lilly, and she turns to look at me biting her lip. I kiss her cheek and open the door, leading her inside.
The frat house is full. There are people everywhere. Everyone is drinking, laughing, and talking in every corner of the house. Some people are making out, and there are people dancing everywhere. I watch Lilly as she looks at everything. Her eyes widening, as she looks at everyone.
We walk through the house, towards the kitchen. Reece and Raikin greet people along the way. They shake hands, pat guys on the back and girls practically throw themselves at them. Every time a girl flirts with Raikin or Reece, Lilly tenses up. I can tell she feels uncomfortable being here.
At some point we must have lost Reece and Raikin in the crowd of people. When we make it to the kitchen it is just the two of us. There are a few people standing around in the kitchen talking, but it’s pretty empty compared to the rest of the house. “You want a drink?” I ask in Lilly’s ear, basically having to yell over the music.
She shakes her head no, but I get her one anyway. Just one shot of vodka. Something to calm her nerves. I hand it to her and she looks at me confused. “Just one drink baby. It will help you loosen up.”
Reece and Raikin make their way into the kitchen, right as Lilly throws the shot back. She makes a face and I almost laugh. “That is disgusting.” Lilly says coughing.
Reece laughs. “You alright baby?”
Lilly nods her head. “Yeah. I’m okay.” She says coughing again.
“Ryder you get yourself anything to drink yet?” Reece asks me.
“No, not yet.”
Raikin pours the three of us drinks, handing me and Reece a cup. “Lilly, do you want another one?” Raikin asks with a smirk.
She glares at him. “No. I’m good.”
I laugh and we all make our way out of the kitchen into the main living room area. All the couches and seats are taken, so we just find a spot by the wall. Raikin waves to a couple of guys. “Hey Ryder, Lilly I will be back in a minute I’m going to go say hi to a couple of people.”
