Chapter 148 Chapter One Hundred and Forty-Eight
Ryder looks at the three of us, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and asks in a rough sleepy voice "Why didn't anyone wake me up?"
I can't help but laugh softly, as I walk over to give him a kiss. "They didn't wake me up either, I just got down here a couple of minutes ago."
Ryder gives me a cute crooked grin and kisses me again. "Oh okay. Good morning baby."
I smile up at him. "Good morning Ryder."
"We went to the bakery this morning and we got you your favorite apple cinnamon roll things." Raikin says to Ryder, as he motions towards the box on the table.
Ryder's eyes go wide. "Really? I fucking love those things."
Raikin laughs. "Yes really, but I still don't know why you like them. Those things are so gross.
Reece laughs. "They really are nasty. I don't know how you eat them."
I start laughing and Ryder scoffs. "You guys wouldn't know something that tastes good if it slapped you in the face."
Reece turns to me. "I know one thing that tastes fucking delicious and that's our sexy girl."
Raikin chuckles. "I know that's right. You my sweet girl are the most delicious thing in the world." He leans down and gives me a kiss.
I feel myself blush, cheeks and chest heating up. "I'm glad you think so." I whisper, not really sure what else to say to that.
Ryder gives me a playful smile. "Well nothing tastes better than you baby, but these apple cinnamon rolls are really good, they just don't know what good food is."
I giggle, shaking my head. The three of them always crack me up. They argue about some of the most random things, things that really don't matter either way. I still love them though.
I give him a soft smile. "I have never tried an apple cinnamon roll before. I didn't even know they made something like that."
Ryder's eyes go wide and his mouth drops open in shock. "Are you kidding me? You have got to try them. There is only one place that I know of that makes them and that is the bakery in town, but they are seriously delicious."
I laugh, looking at the box of pastries again. "I will try a small piece of one, don't be offended if I end up agreeing with your brothers though." I am open to trying just about anything once, if I I don't like it though I'm never trying it again.
Ryder smiles. "I won't be offended if you don't like them babe, it will just prove that the three of you are all crazy."
He winks at me and we all laugh. "Fine, if I don't like it you can call us crazy."
Ryder grabs some plates from the cabinet and walks over to the table. "Are you guys ready to eat?"
"Yep. Let's eat." I say, walking over to the table.
I sit beside Ryder, with Raikin on my other side, and Reece across from me. Ryder grabs himself one of the apple cinnamon rolls and tears a small piece off. He turns to me holding the piece in his hand.
"You ready to try it?" He asks, smiling at me.
I nod my head slowly and lean forward towards him. "I guess so." I whisper nervously. I hesitantly open my mouth and Ryder puts the piece of cinnamon roll in my mouth.
I sit back, chewing slowly. The texture is really weird. I think there is actual chunks of baked apple in here, they feel kind of gushy. Other than the weird texture it tastes pretty good. I don't think I would want to eat it all the time though.
The three of them stare at me, waiting for my opinion. "So, what did you think?" Ryder asks, when I finish eating it.
I nod my head back and forth, trying to think of how to word it. "It was okay. I mean it tastes pretty good, but I don't think I want any more of it."
Reece and Raikin burst out laughing, Raikin even snorts. "I told you baby bro, those things are disgusting." Reece says.
I start laughing, unable to stop myself. "I didn't say it was disgusting, I said I it was good. I just don't want any more of it. The flavor was good, it just had a weird texture."
Ryder scoffs. "That's it. You are all insane. This just proves it."
I laugh harder. "Fine, maybe we are crazy. The good news is that just means there is more for you." I tell Ryder, giving him a sweet smile.
Ryder shakes his head, taking a bite. "All crazy. I will eat all of these, you guys can eat the other boring crap."
The three of us laugh and grab some pastries. We talk and laugh all the way through breakfast. The three of them mostly just argue about what good food is and tell each other they are nuts.
I try to trick Ryder into telling me where we are going on our date while he is distracted, but it doesn't work. I don't know why they all insist on making the dates a surprise. I can't wait to see what he has planned.
