Chapter 135 Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Five
Reece squeezes my hand. "I wish you had someone too babygirl. Don't worry though, now you have me, Raikin and Ryder. You won't ever have to worry about anything ever again."
"I know that. That's why I know three is the magic number."
Reece chuckles. "Three kids it is babygirl."
We keep asking each other questions, one after another. Some silly, some dirty and some very serious questions about our future. I feel so much closer to him and we still have all night together.
"Well babygirl we are here." Reece says when we pull up outside a gorgeous little cafe with an outdoor patio. The patio is lit with twinkling lights, resembling the starry sky.
Reece parks the car, opening my door for me. "You ready for dinner baby?" He asks as we link arms.
I lean up to place a soft kiss on his cheek. "Yes, I am."
The cafe is even more beautiful on the inside. The lighting is dim, mostly coming from the candles on every table. The tables have flowers placed in the center and there are more flowers placed all around the restaurant. There is even soft music playing in the background.
As I look around the restaurant I notice each table only has two chairs and the only other people here seem to be a couple of different couples also on dates. This place is so perfect and romantic.
The waitress seats us in the corner, far enough away from the other couples that we can still talk without disturbing anyone and vise versa. Reece orders us a bottle of wine and an appetizer plate.
Once the waitress is far enough away I playfully slap his arm. "I'm not old enough to drink." I whisper and he laughs.
"It's okay babygirl. We are only going to have a little bit of wine. We can't have a romantic date without a bottle of fine wine." He winks and I feel myself blush.
"This place is gorgeous, Reece. Thank you for bringing me here."
"I'm glad you like it babygirl. I wanted our first date to be special." Reece whispers and leans in to kiss me, nothing to crazy because we are in public. Just a sweet romantic kiss that melts my heart.
"It is." I take his hand in mine and he kisses the back of my hand.
Dinner is not only beautiful, but delicious. Reece kept to his word, we both only had a little wine, but it somehow made the food taste even better.
After dinner Reece drives us to a park with this gorgeous lake. There is a walking path, lit with solar lights and a fountain in the middle of the lake. The lights in the fountain keep changing, from pinks and reds to blues and greens.
Reece helps me out of the car, grabbing a blanket from the back seat. I want to ask what the blanket is for, but I don't. I just let him lead me out towards the walking path.
"I thought we could go for a walk babygirl." Reece whispers when we walk out farther towards the edge of the lake.
"I would love that."
Reece wraps the blanket around me, and takes my hand in his. "I don't want you to get cold babygirl."
"Thank you."
I hold the blanket in place with my free hand as we take off walking, or should I say strolling. There are a few other people out walking around, but none of them look as happy as I feel right now.
We walk for a while, until we come to a gazebo, lit with a couple of hanging lanterns. "Would you like to sit down babygirl?" Reece asks.
"Sure." I say, smiling.
We take a seat and I lean my head on his shoulder. "This park is very pretty at night." I whisper, looking out at the lake.
"Not as pretty as you are babygirl." Reece whispers and I look up at him, blushing a little.
"That is so cheesy, but I love it."
Reece chuckles. "I'm glad you like it babygirl and I know it's cheesy, but it's the truth."
"You know what this night reminds me of?" I ask, smiling at him.
Reece smirks. "What's that babygirl?"
"The first time we really talked. You know when I asked what you thought the perfect date would be."
Reece chuckles. "I didn't know if you would remember or not babygirl."
"Of course I remember. I will never forget that day." I whisper. "That was when I first started falling in love with you."
Reece smiles. "Me too babygirl. I already knew I loved you the minute I saw you, but talking to you just cemented my feelings for you."
"You knew you loved me the first time you saw me?"
Reece smiles, leaning down to kiss me. "Yes I did babygirl. I knew you were special just by looking at you baby."
I kiss him, feeling overwhelmed with pure joy. "I love you Reece. Thank you for being mine."
Reece chuckles, cupping my cheek with his hand. "I should be thanking you babygirl. Not the other way around. That day I told you we wanted a girl we could share, you could have told me to fuck off or told me I was crazy, or a number of other things, but you didn't. Instead you gave me a chance, you gave the three of us a chance to show you how much love we had to offer. That day you said yes, was one of the best days of my life babygirl."
I lean into his touch. "I was honestly afraid it wouldn't work out, but I am so happy to know I was wrong. I have never been happier in my entire life."
"I'm glad you were wrong too babygirl." Reece smiles and winks at me, making me giggle.
Reece kisses me again and pulls me into his side, wrapping his arm around me. I stare out at the lake for a while, just enjoying how peaceful it is.
"Do you think we will be this happy for the rest of our lives?"
Reece gives my shoulder a soft squeeze and kisses the top of my head. "I hope so babygirl. As long as you are mine, I will be happy forever."
"I feel the same way about you."
Reece kisses the top of my head again and I look up at him. "It's getting late babygirl. Are you ready to go home?"
I sigh. "I guess so. I wish tonight didn't have to end though."
"Me either baby." Reece stands up, and grabs my hand, helping me stand up.
We walk hand in hand back to the car. The few people we saw earlier are gone, leaving just me and Reece. If he wasn't here with me, that would freak me out. "Looks like we're the last ones here."
Reece chuckles. "It is getting pretty late baby, I'm sure everyone went home."
"Yeah probably."
Reece shrugs. "Or someone came and killed everyone. You know like in one of those scary movies you love so much. It is a mostly dark park in a pretty secluded area. You would have to scream pretty loud for someone to hear you baby."
