72. What About Next Time?
**Serene**
*At same time that afternoon*
*3:34PM*
When she gave Judar her number and said that he could contact her at anytime, she didn't expect for him to start texting her the moment he dropped her off in front of the gates of the palace. Serene had just unlocked her bedroom door and she got messages from him asking when they would meet again. She couldn't help but smile.
Inside was dark until she turned on the lights. She spilled the contents of her handbag as well as the items in the shopping bag. Seeing the lipgloss and two shades of lipstick brought her back to when he insisted on buying them for her, even when she informed him that she already had one at home.
*"What about this one?" Judar pointed to a few palettes of eyeshadow below the display case. Serene shrugged and smiled. "I bought one of the smaller ones last month," she replied.*
*"This one?" Judar gestured some eyeliner.*
*She chuckled. "No~, I already have two different colours."*
*She watched him sigh as he tried to find something. He could go on for as long as he wanted. Besides, she had purchased the gloss and new phone she had her eyes on for a while. So Serene had all the time in the world to spare.*
*Finally he settled on a baby blue concealer palette with a mirror inside the lid. Judar pointed to it, sporting a toothy grin. "Okay, you can't tell me you have this!"*
*The brunette drew in a breath and walked to where Judar was. He smiled, thinking that he had finally found something that she didn't have. Serene giggled. She picked up one of the concealers. "Yeah... about that..." As she trailed off with a devious smirk. Then she started laughing when Judar threw up his hands in frustration.*
*In the end Judar gave in, but because she felt so sorry for him she gave a hint that she only had a dark pink shade of lipstick. Quicker than an athelete he immediately went to the cashier and purchased a rose red and another shade labeled* Starlett.
Serene smiled, holding up one of the cosmetics to her face. She leaned on her elbows and proceeded to reply to his text.
*that depends on what u have planned for next time~*
*if there will be a next time*
He texted back almost immediately.
*well, there r a lot of sides to me I want you to see before deciding whether r not you want to be with me. r whether to keep it to the level of what we did in the car*
She bite her lip.
*do you have a plan?*
Without waiting for him to reply, she placed the phone down and headed to the bathroom.
The water cleansed her body as it ran down her skin. It was warm enough to calm her nerves and quiet her thoughts. As the water flowed over her nipples she remembered the way Judar's tongue did as well. She placed those nipples between her fingers, rubbing them gently but did not squeeze them. Then, she closed her eyes.
A vision of Judar's fingers between her legs caused her to squeeze them together as if his arm was still there. The way they moved would entertain her with the memory for many.
From the manner of which he spoke to the feel of his member directly below her p-ssy, it felt so good she was sure she would be ready to have him take her right there and then.
And his chest and stomach. It was literally heaven having him pressed against her. She was seriously considering calling him and taking him up on his offer to take it all the way, just to feel all the things he promised her. But if he really did have feelings for her, that would be tricky.
Serene reached for her bodywash and spilled the contents in her palm. It had only half left. The next time she goes in town she has to remember to buy more.
She spread it over her skin as Serene thought of her options. Her heart held no feelings for him, so getting into a relationship was out of the question. Getting into his bed sounded way better than getting into his heart. However, if that ended up with him being hurt then...
Deep breaths. In, out. One more time, in, out. Good.
*Don't stress about it too much. As long as you're honest and upfront with him, nothing bad should happen.*
*What about Leo?*
Serene stopped drying herself. Why did she think about him just now? They were friends, but not even best friends. And even so, why did it matter?
Actually, it did matter. Especially since she knew they didn't quite get along though she didn't understand why. Still, it would be good to inform him before sleeping with his enemy.
When she strolled out of the bathroom she heard the familiar ping of her phone. Tightening the rope of her robe, Serene made her way over to her bed and laid down on her back. There were two texts, with Judar highlighted as the sender. She grinned and proceeded to open the chat but then her ears picked up the sound of another, more familiar ping. It was coming from her old phone, only an arm's reach away from her head.
Not thinking anything of it, Serene set her phone aside and slid the other one across the bed. An incoming call from a number she didn't recognise showed on the screen. She placed it close to her ear and muttered her greeting, only to hear from the last person she wanted to be in contact with.
"Hello, darling. Have you thought about my proposal yet?"
Jenifer. Does the dragon not have anything better to do with her time?
Serene sighed. "The number you have dialed is not in service-"
"Don't play with me child," the woman hissed on the other end. "Do you really think I'm in the mood to humor you in your little games? I asked you a question. Will you, or won't you?"
She gritted her teeth.
"What is your fricking deal?" Serene said, raising her voice only a little. "What in the hell makes you think I would *ever* take part in whatever *crazy ass* plan you have in mind? I literally hate you! And I know you hate me so why do you even still have my number? Buzz off!"
