Chapter 22

"Hatina where's my shoe, my purse, my necklace I can't find any, Hatina please help, I can't go out looking like this... I."

"Haleema calm down, they are right here on the bed, you're just being nervous, take a deep breath."

Haleema is panicking which she normally doesn't, I've never seen her like this except in fifth grade when she had to audition for a speech and she panicked so much that she almost fainted.

"Okay I'll, I'll," She says calming down.

"Good, now wear all these so the make-up artist can do her job." I tell her as I also need to get dressed. I thought if I had enough rest I'll be okay but it doesn't seem that way, I'm still feeling the same pain in my head and feeling all sore.

"Okay," She says as she does all that while I go out to pick some of my things. Getting out of the door I'm meeting face to face with Annur at the door.

"How long have you been here?" I ask seeing him standing by the room wall.

"Not long," He says positioning himself. "Oh okay so do you need anything?" I asked.

"Yes, I felt like seeing you." He says coming closer.

"Annur seriously you've seen me today in the morning, and you'll still see me forever InshaAllah."

"I know but you know I don't like staying away from you," He says as he grabs my waist towards him.

"Annur please stop anyone can come here,"

"I don't care, you're my wife and mine alone, its only if you want me to die from not seeing you."

"Don't talk like that please, you'll always see me, I'm here." I say looking at him.

"Don't ever leave me Hatina," His voice coming sincere as he leans closer to my ear to whisper it.

"I will never, InshaAllah." I assure him before he places his lips with mine and kisses me slowly, then take my lower lip and kiss it again before releasing me for breath.

"I want you every single day and I continue to want you the more every time I see you," He says while I blush.

"I'll see you later go and get dressed then come straight to me,"

"Annur you know I'm very busy today I might not be able to,"

"Fine then I'll come and see you if you can't, but make sure you come when you're done."

"Sure, I also don't want to stay without my husband," I tell him before he kisses my lips gently again before going. How I wish I could just have him all day, I don't want him to leave it’s like I'm becoming a magnet around iron filings that can't stay away.

Three hours later Haleema's dressing becomes complete as she is now done with her make up and hijab.

"Wow Haleema, you look beautiful!" I compliment looking at her. She's wearing the gown we bought the other day with matching hijab and her black purse with black wedges.

"Thank you, you look beautiful too, I love your necklace." I'm wearing the diamond necklace Annur got me on my navy-blue gown which Is beautiful but not as Haleema.

"Thank you." I reply blushing.

"Ohh Annur got that for you, that's why you're blushing, I wondered why," God she's smart, she can detect every single action on you even without speaking, but I shouldn't be surprised my face shows expression really well.

"Yes he did," I say blushing again. "It’s beautiful," She adds.

"Thanks but not as you are" I tell her as now, it is her turn to blush. " Now let's go they'll be waiting."

***************

The Nikkah was over and it is time for the reception. The reception starts the I decide to get something to drink and I hear whispers as I pass.

"Yes, I've got it all covered. I'm watching their every move. I couldn't take her yet, because he is always with her and even if he isn't, she's in the midst of people." I am able to hear someone say as I walk closer to see who it is but before I can get there, the person has left already.

"Who was that, what was he talking about" I say to myself. The person voice vague and low making it hard to even think I know the voice.

"Who was what?" I turn to see my one and only handsome, irresistible husband in his black fitted suit that reveals all his muscles around them.

"Nothing, it's nothing." I shrug it off. I don't want to tell him anything because I wasn't sure and I didn't want him to worry unnecessarily, but I couldn't help but worry. "Have you eaten? " I change the question.

"No, I haven't,"

"Why? Never mind. Let me get it for you"

"You don't need to stress yourself. The waitress will bring it. They already are," He speaks pulling me back.

"No, let me get it. I'll be right back okay?" I put my hands on his chest as he nods. I take my legs to where the food are being served and having being the bride's maid of honor, I get it immediately with them apologizing that it was a bit slow.

Haleema didn't want a big wedding as she said it was uncalled for. I protested but at the end of the day, it is her wedding. I speak with their catering boss, as they apologize while they reverse their mistakes, meanwhile I take the food back to my husband when I begin to feel dizzy.

"Here it is," I say giving it to him as I get back and place it on the table.

"Thank you babe, come and sit with me." He brings me closer to his chest. "How are you feeling?" I told Annur how I've been feeling for a while and he kept on insisting for me to get to the hospital, but I refused.

"Yeah I'm still feeling tired and sore with an headache together with dizziness right now." I say looking at Haleema and her husband dancing.

Yes I've finally met her husband, he is as what she described. His name is Bilal Muhammad, and from what I see he really loves her and so does she. He is a nice person although I just met him and is lucky to have my best friend.

"Any nausea?" He asks. Ever since our little misunderstanding some days back, Annur and I have only gotten closer. He doesn't hide anything from me and so do I. I remember during the weekend when I was so lazy to even put on a cloth after taking my bath, Annur suggested to dress me and I instantly agreed, on one condition, that is, I get to wear anything he chooses.

And definitely knowing Annur, he selected a bum short and a bra. Can you imagine? Considering I was so lazy he took advantage of that and I had no choice but to wear that and stay in door all day.

"A bit,"

"Come on let me get you something."

"No Annur I hate drugs please, I'll just throw up and I don't want to do that here, I just need to rest," I tell him.

"Okay rest on me. When we leave here we'll get you something better okay? " He say and I nod dragging my head and putting it on his chest with his hands around me to support.

"Thank you Annur, you're the best husband in the world, and I'm so happy Allah joined us together."

"And you’re the best wife in the world, I love you babe." He kisses my head.

**************

The reception is over and so is everything as I wake up. "Annur why didn't you wake me? The reception is over," I furrow my eyebrows leaning away from him.

"Well you were tired and I didn't want to disturb you," He defends as I sigh because he is indeed right.

"Thank you, I need to see Haleema." I tell him.

"She came here already and met you asleep so she decided to let you be after I told her how you're feeling,"

"Okay, I'll go and meet her now." I say and he releases me to go. I get up to look for Haleema but didn't see her then later on, I find her.

"Haleema," I call her.

"Hatina," She comes rushing to me. "How are you feeling?" She asks. "Not really good, I still feel sore and dizzy." I tell her.

"Sorry, you should go to the hospital, I can come with you if you want." She offers.

"No don't worry, now you are a married woman you have to stay with your husband and be with him as he deserves," I say.

"Yes I know but.." I cut her off.

"No but, you're not coming and its final." I add. "Okay Mom." she says smiling.

"That's my girl," I say pinching her cheek.

"Ouch, promise me you'll go though" She says holding her cheek.

"Sorry it’s just really soft," I said laughing. "Yes I'll go, I promise." I said as Annur and Bilal comes closer to us.

"Hey dear," Bilal says holding her waist to which she responds by blushing. Wow she really does blush a lot these days, and it’s a good sign.

"Salaam Hatina," Bilal greets which I returned.

"Hey babe," Annur slides his hand to my waits. Ya Allah I love the way he calls me babe.

"Hey," I say holding him. "Meet Bilal, Haleema's husband" I introducing them.

They both exchange greetings and laugh like they've know each other for ages which makes me and Haleema chuckle, making me happy deep down that, we're all in our happy homes.
