"Yes Hatina you have to take it, I'm not letting you leave until you tell me that you'll allow the driver to take you."

"Annur, I told you I do not want a driver, stop treating me like a baby I can take care of myself."

"I'm not treating you like a baby I'm treating you like my baby. "

With that I can no more resist. Annur has been talking about this since yesterday, of getting me a driver.

It’s been a week now after that incident happened, I told him I don't need one but he keeps on saying I do. He even increased the security with us, both mine, his and in the family. When dad asked him what happened, he told him, 'you can't be too careful right?'

Ever since that incident happened with the tinted car, he has become overprotective these days. I know Annur wants to protect me but he should at least tell me what he's hiding.

Yes I know he's hiding something I'm not dumb, I'm living with him, I know when he's lying and when he's not. I just want him to confide in me, which is making me angry because he isn't, I kept on asking him but he keeps saying its nothing and I decided to let it go, I won't ask him anymore.

"Fine, fine I agree." I sigh in defeat. I was never going to win anyway.

"Thank you." He said as he kiss my lips and takes me to the new driver.

"Good day mam, I'm Alex." The driver who stands in front of me says as we get out. He is quite in average height, Asian looking with black hair.

"Hi Alex, how are you doing? " "Good ma'am."

"You can call me Hatina, Alex." I reply to him as Annur stands near me, watching us exchange pleasantries.

"Okay, Hatina where would you like to go?" He asks but Annur answers instead.

"She'll be going to work every morning except Saturdays and Sundays. Take her to wherever she wants and respect her, am I clear?" Annur speaks with authority in his voice and even I feel shaken just by the words.

"Yes Sir." He replies submissively. "So are you ready?" Annur turns to me.

"Yes, let’s say bye to Mom and Dad." He nods gradually leading us in as he place a hand on my lower back.

Ever since Annur and I became one, every time he touches me, my body trembles. It's like every moment he gaze at me or touches me my body seems to crave for more and I have to keep on fighting myself to avoid being mocked by him.

If it was left to him, we shouldn't even leave the bed at all. I thought after our intimacy, that it would reduce the wild thoughts but instead, I swear it has become worse and I find myself, thinking things that I couldn't even imagine before.

What has he done to me?

We said our byes and I said the same to Annur, before taking off with Alex. I don't know what it is but I don't feel comfortable around Alex, but Annur says it’s because I didn't want a driver so, I guess that's the reason.

"We're here." He alerts me as I didn't know we reached due to the fact that I was so busy with my phone texting as I have a lot of meetings today which will keep me busy.

"Thank you." I get out of the car. "Pick me up by 4:30." I tell him walking away.

"Yes ma'am" He nods respectively before I walk away.

"Salma, where's my schedule for this week and next? I can't seem to find it," I search all my desk.

"I dropped it on your table, maybe you should check again" She speaks through the intercom.

"I've checked so many times, can you print another now?" I tell her.

"Okay I'll do that immediately." And within a minute she walks into my office as the sound of her heels can be heard.

Salma is a really beautiful, young lady with blue eyes that shines out so well that even I admired. Everyday her sense of clothing always impressed me and I was proud to call her my secretary, because not even once has she disappointed me and whenever she did, in rare cases, it was always amended and she would not let me know about it and I would just act like I never noticed it.

So you see some things in life just need to be ignored. We may see something but we just need to keep shut about seeing that in order for peace to reign and to have that in built trust.

"Here it is." She speaks carefully as I take it from her.

"Thank you." I reply giving her a smile. I looked at my schedule to find out I have a meeting now.

"Salma Ya Allah the meeting is starting in ten minutes, are they here yet?" I speak as she is leaving, managing to stop her.

"No but they called and they are on their way." She replies sincerely coming back.

"Okay prepare the conference room immediately." "it's ready." You see why I praise her.

"Thank you." I smile at her and she leaves.

I'm hosting a meeting for medicinal purposes to create vaccines, drugs for underdeveloped countries, so we decided to assist in the fund raising but not until we see what the money is for that's why they're coming over.

My phone vibrates and I checked to see who it is and It's none other than Annur.

Annur: Hey babe. Hatina: Hello husband.

Annur: How's the driver? Hatina: He's good.

Annur: I told you.

Hatina: Yes you did and right now I need to prepare for a meeting. Annur: Okay good luck, love you. Talk to you later.

Hatina: 😍😍 😍😍 definitely.

It is time to go home and the driver comes to pick me up. I get in and he begins driving after greeting me which I respond.

I am so busy with my phone but feel like someone is watching me but when I look to check, I don't find anyone so I just let it go.

Checking my WhatsApp and replying text from our family's group chat, when I see that Annur texts me.

Annur: "Hey babe are you on your way back?"

Hatina: "Yes do you want me to get something for you?"

Annur: "No just do me a favour, tell the driver to drop you where I told him in the morning."

Hatina: "And where is that, I want to know."

Annur: "No when you get there you'll know better. It's a surprise." Hatina: "This is not fair. I'm your wife."

Annur: "and I'm trying to surprise my wife. It wouldn't be a surprise anymore if I tell you."

Oh I wasn't ready to give up just yet.

Hatina: "My heart, My baby, my husband, My everything, my darling please tell me."

I send to him hoping those would soothe him and then he'll tell me.

Annur: "Haha, wow if I knew I'd be getting sweet names like this then I better start making you more curious."

Hatina: " I won't even call you sweet names anymore."

Annur: "Baby just tell him to drop you, Trust me okay?"

Hatina: "I do. I'm on my way."

"Alex Annur says you should drop me off at where he told you."

"Yes ma'am" He says. I guess also he can't stop calling me ma'am.

"Um Alex can you tell me where we are going?"

"I'm sorry ma'am, but sir Annur made it really clear not to tell you where you're going."

"Hmm okay" Is all I say. Can you imagine? I don't even know where he's taking me to, but I have to trust Annur though.

"We're here ma'am" Alex stops the car.

"Okay thank you, and Alex I told you to call me Hatina" I say getting out of the car.

"I'm sorry Hatina, this is new to me that's why, I'll change." "Okay, you can go, Annur and I will come back on our own." "Okay Hatina."

The building I stand in front really bright and fancy with lights all outside it, as the name stuns out, 'Al- jamil'. I walk in to find a very beautiful interior in my sight.

The inside decorated with fancy curtains, red chairs and tables and beautiful flowers as the place is empty while all the tables are cleared and neat, except for the table at the centre of it all.

This one decorated in satin red, as it shines out with the bright light with dishes also placed on the table and drinks to take.

"Wow," My sight in as that could explain all my surprise.

"Surprise darling," I feel a familiar hands around my waist and I instantly know who they're for.

My husband, my love, my habibi, my darling, my one and only and the love of my life.

Annur.

"Wallah I can't explain how I feel, I love it, it's beautiful " I speak quietly as his head buries itself at the crook of my neck inhaling me.

"You are more beautiful," He rises his head and turns me around facing him. There he is, right in front of me, just him and I. This man, that always seems to surprise me every day and what can I do than to fall for him, every single day?

"Thank you." I whisper as he comes closer to me and I feel his breath on my lips.

"Your welcome, I'll do anything for you." He says seductively as he plants a kiss on mine. "Come on let's go and eat, I bet you're hungry"

"Oh I really am." We both chuckle.

"Good evening," The waitress greets as we take our seats. We returned the greeting as she places a wine on the table and leaves.

"Um.. Annur what's this?" I ask him looking at the food. I've never seen anything like it making me curious.

"It’s an Italian food, just eat, its good." Annur chuckles. We begin eating and I realize the food tastes exactly good.

"I thought it’s been long since we went out together on a date so I decided why not today," Annur tells me.

"I love it Annur, its beautiful." I place a hand on his as he caresses my fingers.

We finish with our dinner and proceed to go home when I receive a phone call as we get into the car.

"Hello," I answer.

"Hello," I speak again but there was no answer only breaths, so I disconnect it.

"Who was that?" Annur asks.

"I don't know, the person didn't say anything," I tell Annur as he remains silent for a while.

" Give me your phone please," He request, his hands going away from the steering wheel.

I give Annur my phone as he takes down the number.

"Annur can you tell me what's going on. Don't tell me nothing, because I know there's something but you don't want to tell me and it's getting me worried to be honest. We're supposed to be one, to share everything, for better for worse. Your problems are mine too, why don't you want to confide in me?" I ask him.

"Hatina it's not like I don't want to tell you, I do but I'm looking into it, that's why I don't want to tell you yet." He stares at me. "I'm checking out the tinted car but I don't want to tell so you won't get scared and I haven't found anything credible about it. I'm sorry if you feel I don't want to confide in you." He continues.

"I won't. Annur we are in this together and your problems are mine too, I'm here anytime you need me."

"Thank you, but don't worry too much I'll take care of it, you just be happy and smile that's all I want."

"And that's what I want for you too." He agreed before going back on our way. We got home, greeted everyone and went to our room to pray our missing salats.

"Babe," Annur speaks as he sits on the bed. "Mmh" I answer him taking off my hijab.

"Come here," He pulls me closer to him as I sit in his lap. He strokes my chin gently as he comes closer with his lips to mine.

I adjust my sitting as I now straddle him, while he carefully removes each and every clothing of mine as I do the same.

The night blissful again as we became one, once again.
