“Then.” She paused a bit and said, “Based on my own style, and the style I wanted to try on this stage, I chose…”
The three judges‘ seats were arranged in a semicircle, Roxanne was in the middle, and the other two were on each side.
Stephanie walked straight ahead.
Roxanne looked totally satisfied. She stood up and seemed like she already had it in the bag.
Stephanie just turned and walked over to Bradley.
“Mr. Olsen, can I join your team?” Stephanie asked politely and reached out her right hand.
Bradley glanced at Roxanne, whose expression had changed a bit, and there was a playful smile on his face. Then he stood up.
“Of course.” He reached out and shook Stephanie’s hand.
In the livestream, there was a close–up of these clasped hands, and after that, Roxanne’s slightly stiff face also shved up in the background.
Maxwell looked at this, his brows slightly furrowed.
That masked woman messed with Roxanne.
According to their route, the target was supposed to be Roxanne, but at the last point, they turned and went toward Bradley.
Why?

At “The Ethereal Voice” live show, the contestant selection part was really exciting. The audience kept cheering, sighing, or just making noise for fun.
After Stephanie got paired with Bradley’s team, she just sat in the player’s seat behind his spot.
Not far away, Roxanne kept glancing up and down at her out of the corner of her eye.
Stephanie ignored Roxanne.
The recording time of the show was long.
There was a commercial break in the middle, and it was also when the artists took a rest.
After an ad break, Stephanie went to the bathroom.
She just got to the hallway, and Roxanne blocked her
“You didn’t see the text I sent you?” Roxanne pulled Stephanie aside into a corner and got straight to the point.
Stephanie glanced at Roxanne: “Saw it.”
Roxanne frowned and grabbed Stephanie by the collar: “So what did you mean? Trying to humiliate me?”
Stephanie sneered and pulled away Roxanne’s hand that was grabbing her collar.
“I was just picking people normally,” she said. “Whether it was the music style or professionalism, I thought Bradley was more suitable and could help me go further in this show.”

Roxanne laughed.
“I was wondering what was going on, but it turned out you didn’t get it at all.‘
“Do you know why you lost to Stephanie?” Roxanne mocked, “You never get the point.”
“This era was all about marketing.”
“Did you really come to this show just to compete in singing and songwriting?”
“Conway Entertainment invested in you to get something back, for business value, to make money, got it?“,
Roxanne’s voice was low, full of anger, and when she spoke fast, it sounded like a snake hissing.
“Style? Professionalism? Huh.” Roxanne laughed, “Serena, didn’t you think you were being too high and mighty?”
Stephanie looked at Roxanne calmly.
“So what about you?” she said “I don’t get it, you only had half a year left in your life, so why were you still so hung up on these outside things? Wouldn’t it be better to just relax and enjoy your last days?”
Roxanne’s eyes were shining.
Of course, she couldn’t tell them her secret about faking sick.
So Roxanne changed the subject: “You could still change your mind and join my team, or we could work together in some other way.”
Roxanne took a step forward.

The two were really close.
Roxanne said, “I gave you time to think, because we were on the same side and had a common enemy”
After saying this, Roxanne left, leaving Stephanie standing there alone
She quietly watched Roxanne leave.
So, why was that?
Roxanne wanted Maxwell, and now he was with her.
Why was Roxanne still messing with this stuff?
To attack her, Stephanie?
But what did it mean?

Time flew by, the show was recorded from morning to night.
The live stream of “The Ethereal Voice” finally ended.
No matter if they were artists, staff, or people in the audience, everyone was really tired.
It was already getting dark.
Stephanie was helped to the nanny van.
Her steps were unsteady, she could barely stand.
Jeremiah was holding her on one side and let out a long sigh.
Stephanie knew what Jeremiah meant.

But she just wanted to join.
She was really anxious. She wanted to get stronger and take control of everything again.
But when she got to a corner, she suddenly saw that there was someone standing next to the nanny van.
It was Maxwell.
Stephanie glanced at Jeremiah, and Jeremiah shook his head, meaning I don’t know.
“Talk?” Maxwell’s voice came.
Jeremiah wanted to say something, Stephanie pressed his hand, then stood up herself and motioned for Maxwell to go to the woods on the side.
