Chapter331
“Sure, but we needed to confirm your personal info and get your authorization first,” the man from the records department said.
Maxwell nodded and took out his ID.

The guy from the records department was about to type in a name for the emergency contact. Jacquelyn immediately said, “It’s faster if you check the patient’s form. It’s right there, emergency contact. See if there’s any note about the patient’s authorization. If the person can receive the delivery, then they should be authorized.”
The young man nodded, first opened Roxanne’s medical record, then checked the information, and looked at the authorization.
Then handed the ID card back to Maxwell and said, “Please wait a moment, I’ll go print it for you.”
“Okay.” Maxwell put away his ID.
Jacquelyn finally let out a sigh of relief to herself.
She had to hurry and get Stephanie to let her change the emergency
contact.
They kept forgetting about this.
Stephanie’s emergency contact was always written as Maxwell.
There wasn’t really a big problem. Stephanie was getting better, so it never got to the point where we needed to contact the emergency contact. I didn’t really worry about it.

Just now she heard the front desk chatting at the door, and alarm bells went off in her head.
The person in the archives department was careless. Who knew what kind of trouble they’d stir up.
Even before, working as a receptionist, I gave people the wrong stuff.
If they searched for the package now using Maxwell’s name and pulled up Stephanie’s file, what would happen?
The patient’s privacy was really important.
And based on what she knew about Stephanie, Stephanie probably wouldn’t have wanted Maxwell to know that she had seen a psychiatrist.
At that time, it was the hospital’s big mistake.
Luckily, she kept watching.
Otherwise, it was game over.
It was already printed over there, and the archives staff put the stuff into a file bag and handed it to Maxwell.
“Okay, thanks,” Maxwell said. Then he thought for a moment and asked the guy to help change the address back to his old apartment
Jacquelyn was watching from the side.
I didn’t say anything the whole time.
Because she wasn’t looking at that computer screen, it didn’t really count as seeing the patient’s privacy.

After everything was done, Maxwell took the file and went out.

Jacquelyn just grabbed something from the archive room, then came out and pretended she just happened to go get something, not that she had any other reason.
But as soon as I came out, I ran into Maxwell.
“Talk?” Maxwell asked.
Jacquelyn held what was in her hands and nodded.
Then the two of them went together to a corner.
“I heard you’re the doctor around here,” Maxwell said.
Jacquelyn nodded and said yes.
“What did you want to ask me?” Jacquelyn looked at Maxwell and said, “Or, is there something you’re confused about?”
Maxwell looked at Jacquelyn in front of him.
Finally, he said, “I had a confusion now.”
Jacquelyn nodded.
Maxwell’s eyes didn’t stay on Jacquelyn, but seemed to look at a certain spot.
He said, “If I loved someone deeply but hurt her badly, what sho do?”
Jacquelyn looked at Maxwell, not sure if he was talking about Stephanie.
“So what options did you have to choose from now?” Jacquelyn kept asking.
“She wanted to leave, but I didn’t,” he said. “I hoped she could stay

with me, so I used some ways to keep her here.” “Some really nasty ways.”
Finally, he stopped.
He looked at Jacquelyn and said, “If it were you, what do you think should be done?”
