Chapter254
“Alright, close the door and let’s go,” Stephanie said. “If we wait, it’ll get too crowded to leave.”
Although Katrina felt it was a pity, she also knew that was how things were, so she reluctantly closed the door.
The car started and drove out.
Just before she completely turned the corner, Stephanie glanced out the car window toward where Roxanne was surrounded.
“What’s wrong?” Jeremiah noticed what Stephanie was doing and asked.
Stephanie shook her head and just said. “I’m just curious what she’s going to do this time.”
Jeremiah laughed out loud.
“Don’t mind her, let’s go get something tasty, we gotta have a celebration dinner!” Jeremiah said cheerfully.
“Sure.” Stephanie nodded, but this time they didn’t go to Pulse Nightclub.
She really didn’t want to run into Wesley over there again, and then have Maxwell called over to make a scene.
This thing was finally settled, and next up were all kinds of business with other families, the lawsuit with the old members of the Shelton family, and Belinda’s illness.

The process for applying for the surgery was already done, and I could go get the surgery soon.
Thinking of Belinda’s round little face, Stephanie felt a warm feeling
in her heart.
Over here, a few people were chatting and laughing as.they headed to the celebration dinner. while outside “The Ethereal Voice” recording venue, Roxanne was facing a big crowd.
Countless people who felt cheated pointed at her and even cursed her.
And the reporters didn’t let her go, with countless microphones pointed at her-
“Roxanne, a lot of people were saying you were the third party in Maxwell and Stephanie’s marriage. What did you want to say about that?”
“Roxanne, there were rumors in “The Ethereal Voice‘ this time saying you were deliberately targeting Serena, who is Stephanie. How did you respond to that?”
“Roxanne, what exactly was your relationship with Maxwell? Did you get involved in someone else’s marriage?”
Every question was really tricky. She wanted to leave, but there were people all around. Unless someone cleared a path, she just couldn’t get
out.
Roxanne felt angry inside, but on the outside she just looked really
broken.
Her eyes were red and she said, “I didn’t know Serena was Stephanie.”

Tears fell one after another: “I wasn’t a homewrecker either.”
Looked like she was about to cry.

But then someone
in the crowd shouted, “We’re not Maxwell, don’t pretend to be pitiful, put your tears away!”
Roxanne pouted. She wiped her tears, but her eyes were still red.
“I never lied to anyone,” she said. “I never was a homewrecker, and I never played the victim. I… really didn’t know Serena was her.”
Roxanne’s tears fell again, and she tried hard to wipe them away, but she just couldn’t.
“I came to this show just to give strength to everyone who’s sick, that’s all.”
“You guys might think I let her down, but I didn’t know what to do, because I didn’t know anything.”
“I didn’t know she joined the show.”
“The person who was bidding against me for the Tanzanite at the auction was her, I didn’t know either.”
“Tanzanite was hers, and I also…”
“Pa–ji!”
A water balloon just burst on the ground nearby.
The splashing water got Roxanne’s shoes wet.
“Right now I’m asking you, do you admit you got involved in someone
else’s marriage or not!”
The scene was a mess, and countless people were non-

Before, they all heard that Roxanne wanted to speak up for sick people herself, and she also said she wouldn’t be a third party, so they showed their sympathy and supported her.
