Stephanie smiled softly and said, “Even if I wasn’t prepared, I’m not interested in your proposal.”
Jeremiah gave Roxanne an even weirder look.
He was really about to die laughing.
He suddenly thought the idea of having Stephanie go on stage with a mask was really brilliant.
Roxanne actually wanted to use Stephanie against Stephanie.
But he couldn’t laugh, he still had to pretend to be Serena’s sugar daddy, hold it in, hold it in.
But his temper was really hard to hold back!
So, he coughed, pretended he didn’t know anything, frowned and said, “What are you talking about, let’s go.”
Stephanie looked at him, then nodded, and followed Jeremiah.
The two of them left in a hurry, but Roxanne was so mad she stomped her foot.
But she didn’t care about those two anymore, because Kenneth had just sent her the latest message.
The official Conway Entertainment account posted an update.
That’s right, the real battle was just about to start.
The stage was just a fact, but the real deal was the public opinion

battle that came after.
Stephanie, Jeremiah, and Katrina went back to the contestants‘ lounge together.
A few people were already prepared, they kept typing in a cover and talked with others in the group.
At this moment, on the internet.
Conway Entertainment released two HD videos, which were the live videos of “Yesterday Once More” and “Us.”
And here’s the caption: Earlier, due to a technical issue, there was a problem with the live stream of our artist Serena. Now we’ve coordinated with everyone, and the relevant material will be updated in the special edition of “The Ethereal Voice.”
This was a clear video posted by the official Conway Entertainment account, totally different from those secretly recorded phone videos before.
The stage effects were even more impressive.
This was also the best order that Stephanie and a few others came up with.
Official HD videos could be available, but there had to be secretly recorded phone videos from the scene.
Because the team behind Roxanne would definitely guide things toward capital operations, if we just released the official account’s HD video directly, it didn’t really have much convincing power, since it all counted as being from the capital side.
First, phone videos came out. Later, after things heated up a bit, the official account released the HD video to make up for what the phone

videos lacked. It directly proved that what was suppressed before was
real.
After Stephanie saw the video on Alaina’s phone, she planned to sync her own song with it, so that both could complement each other and make the phone video more convincing.
But Jeremiah also handled Simon at the same time, which made everything go even more smoothly.
Online, the public opinion already exploded.
Conway Entertainment put it very nicely, a “technical glitch” covered everything up.
But why did none of the other contestants have any malfunctions, and it was Serena’s stage that broke down?
“It’s really hard to guess, why did only Serena have a stage malfunction.”
“Yeah, I used to have some doubts. After all, Serena was an artist under Conway Entertainment. They wouldn’t suppress her of all people. But now it really looked like that’s what happened.”
“Yeah, not to mention what the official Conway Entertainment account posted, just those two phone videos alone, even from such bad spots and with such crappy devices, they were still super steady. You could tell it really was a ‘technical issue‘ during the livestream.”
“So today’s stream was actually normal, there were still one or two seconds of ‘glitch‘ at the start, but it got fixed after that.”
“Yeah, almost missed out on such a good singer!”
“I was in the audience, I kept getting silenced, every time I tried to speak before, it got deleted.”

“I’m the same, I’m the same. Every time I came out and saw Serena’s clips outside, I was like, what the heck, why is it so different? But no one ever replied to me. Later I found out my comments were only visible to myself.”

A lot of people in the audience spoke up, and all the frustration from before just burst out at that moment.
Then, everyone had the same question-
“So, who did it?”
***
People started talking about it online.
First, I guessed all the other contestants from the same season, but it was obvious she was already being suppressed from the very first live show. I heard that back then Serena hadn’t gone to rehearsal yet because she was injured, so others couldn’t see her performance. Plus, Serena was an artist under Conway Entertainment, so the other companies didn’t really need to bother.
Then, everyone started to think back, and suddenly realized-
