Chapter 35 Even Better

Chapter 35 Even Better
Lana’s Point of View
My heart pounded hard in my chest, at first following a steady rhythm, but then, the moment he slammed me against the wall, it went into a frenzy, slamming hard against my ribcage like the engines of a train.
My eyes searched around, and so did my brain. I needed an excuse… anything I could say to get Christian off my back—but my brain short-circuited.
Nothing.
“Answer me, little flower.” I noticed the tightness in his voice as he pressed his knees in between my legs. “Who gave you this hickey?”
I jerked up slightly when the smooth edge of his trousers pressed me in my most warm area—I could tell he was doing this intentionally.
“Who the hell have you been fucking behind my back?”
I felt some sort of irritation seeping into me.
At the entitlement in his voice.
“I had no idea I was supposed to report every single thing I do in my life to you.” I snapped. “We never agreed that the only person I would be fucking is you.”
His piercing blue eyes narrowed against me, and I felt my breath hitch in my throat. I didn’t allow myself to be afraid, though, as I finished the words at the tip of my lips.
“Whoever I let into my pants is none of your fucking business.”
“That’s where you’re wrong, flower.” He gripped my chin, a little too roughly, as he forced my face upward, staring into my eyes. “I don’t share what belongs to me.”
“I am not a thing for you to own; you don’t get to have or decide whether to share me or not.” I corrected him, and he shook his head.
My heart slowly began quickening in my chest, fear tightened every nerve in my body, a nerve ticked in his jaw, and I felt my breath hitch once more at how scary and hot Christian was at the moment.
Something warm curled underneath my stomach, and I blinked, trying to ignore the sensation that flooded through me.
I shouldn’t be getting turned on by this.
This is coercion… it’s force… It’s disrespectful…
So, why? Why does my body crave more?
“That’s where you’re mistaken,” He brings his face even closer. “You’re mine.”
Without warning, he slammed his lips against mine. The moment our lips connected, I felt a crack of electricity explode from the point of contact… the current forked through my brain, like angry lightning paints a stormy sky.
It was too different from my first kiss; it was fast, rough, and demanding.
Like a message, telling me not to forget who is in control, a small gasp escaped my lips, and in that moment, he shoved his tongue inside me—exploring and claiming me. With his sheer predatory want.
He kissed me like a starved animal.
Like I am the only thing that mattered to him…like I am the only one in the world…and in that moment, every other thing didn’t seem to matter as well.
He breaks the kiss, and a small moan of disappointment escaped my parted lips, as colors returned to my eyes, and everything took form.
Christian was soft the first time, but this time… no.
“Tell me…” He urged, his fingers crawled up the edge of my jaw, cupping my face in his large palms. The warmth of his skin pressed against my cheeks. “Who is it, and what did you do?”
I remained silent, heat burned through my cheeks; even though I had told him that whoever I allowed was none of his business.
“Is it Xavier?” He asked, and from the way the name rolled off his tongue, I could tell he had his suspicion.
He stared at me for a while, waiting for my answer. I didn’t respond, and in the instant that he realized it, he scoffed, and then he grabbed my cheeks so hard, squeezing me. “Why him?” He growled.
“Would it be better if it were someone else?” I asked curiously. “I like Xavier, and you don’t get to act like I cheated on you or something.”
I snapped, trying to shake off the vibration that moved in my core from the proximity.
“Then me?” He queried, his eyes soft, even though his hands weren’t. “Do you hate me? You kissed me so passionately, even now, and I can bet that even right now, you’re all dripping wet for me.”
“This is just casual,” I answered back, not disputing the fact that I had allowed him to kiss me passionately, or that I was soaking wet through my panties for him. “I don’t have to be loyal to you when we are not in a relationship.”
“So, do we have to be in a relationship?” He continued, his tongue darting out to moisten his lips. “Fine then, fair enough… be my girlfriend. Be mine, and only mine.”
His claim on me was possessive and confident, and I just couldn’t shake my head; his eyes fell back to the blotch on my neck. “The more I look at that thing on your neck, the more I want to tear out that part of your skin.” His gaze was sharp, and I felt a knot form in my stomach.
He drove his knees further into my thighs, rubbing that sensitive part of me intentionally. “Tell me what he did?” He questioned. “Did he fuck you?”
My breath caught in my throat as the heat swirling inside me spread throughout my body, and I clutched his arms.
“Answer me, little flower. Did Xavier fuck you?” He drove in a little harder, and I felt my body tense, my clit throbbing, waiting, and anticipating more.
“No…” I whispered against his face. “He touched me.” “He did? Where?” He asked again, moving his knees back, teasing that spot that had already begun to dampen.
“Here?” He touched my crotch, and my cheeks heated with shame, but I nodded. “Did it feel good?” He asked curiously again, driving his knees into me again, and my fingers tightened against his upper arm as I steadied myself. “Were you moaning out his name?”
“Christian, stop,” I muttered, and then he shook his head.
Suddenly, his hands came down to my hips, and he lifted me, forcing my legs to wrap around his hip. “Oh, no, I am about to make you feel even better.”
