Chapter 25 Survive The Night

Chapter 25 Survive The Night
Lana’s Point of View
Christian let me go, he allowed me to run my errands, while he slumped back on the couch, he watched the TV in his room for some minutes before he then drifted into sleep. I was still in a daze as I worked through, the kiss still replaying in my mind.
Continuously…non-stop…
I could clearly hear the soft groans from Christian as he deepened the kiss; his hands that rested everywhere, and his hot breath on my skin. My common sense finally returned to me, as I was in the midst of folding his clothes back into the closet.
Wait a goddamned minute!
Does this mean that I kissed Christian? I willingly gave him my first kiss. I could have stopped him, I could have evaded it, if I wanted to.
So why didn’t I do that? What the hell was I thinking when I decided to kiss Christian? Could it be that I have forgotten that Christian Blackwood was my mortal enemy?
This is someone who constantly bullies me and talks down to me. He always acts all high and mighty around me, but at one small, vulnerable moment, I decided to throw away my first kiss to such a jerk.
Someone like him wouldn’t even know the value of a first kiss; he looks like a playboy, some snobby rich kid who probably used to girls throwing themselves at him. And from the way he kissed me, I just couldn’t imagine how many girls he had kissed to be that experienced.
So, what would make him kiss a girl like me?
What did he see in a girl like me? What was so special about me that would make me think this kiss might mean something to him?
Because I wasn’t conventionally attractive, there isn’t anything about me that stands out, either as a man or as a woman.
I stopped midway, shaking the rest of the thoughts out of my head. This isn’t about me, it’s about him.
To make matters worse, I already promised him that I would be spending the night in his dorm room, hopefully, when he wakes up, he would be sober, and then he might tell me to leave. But before that, I quickly went to my dorm, thankfully no one was in the room, I quickly picked up some clothes, for the night and the ones I’ll put on in the morning, and just when I was about to leave the room, I bumped into Xavier.
He stared down at me, his green eyes narrowed into creases, and I felt my breath hitch, somehow feeling guilty for the kiss I shared with Christian.
In a way, it felt as though I was cheating on Xavier, even though Xavier and I don’t have a relationship. I blinked back, noticing a faint trace of anger in his eyes. He stopped for a while, his eyes flickering towards the bag in my hands, and then back at my face, but instead of his usual interrogation, he simply brushed past me, walking further into the room.
Ignoring me like I wasn’t even there in the first place.
I remained frozen in front of the door for a second or two, but after a while, I decided to just leave.
Maybe he is in a bad mood.
Or maybe he was tired of getting involved in my mess.
Well, it’s better he decided not to ask any questions; it would be difficult trying to explain why I won’t be coming to the dorm room later tonight.
“Where have you been?” Christian asked curiously the moment I got back into the room; a small scream escaped my lips, and my spirit nearly jumped out of my body. “Why the hell are you yelling?”
“Sorry,” I held on to my chest. “It’s just that I didn’t expect you to be awake; you startled me.” “Where did you go?” He was back to asking his questions.
“Uh… I went to get my things.” I confessed, staring into his eyes, trying to find even a hint of drunkenness, but it wasn’t there anymore.
He said nothing anymore. “Can I take my bath?” I asked curiously, my eyes flickered from him, and towards the door of the bathroom. During the days I have been cleaning, I have seen how majestic his bathtub was; in fact, I think it was custom-made, solely built for him.
I want to try it.
“Sure, isn’t that all the benefits, I promised you?” He asked curiously, and then his lips curved upward, there was something about his smile now that seemed to keep jumpstarting my heart. “Or do you need help?”
“Uh, no.” I declared quickly, my cheeks heating up.
“If you want to get freaky, the bathtub is big enough to contain us both.” He wriggled his eyebrows, and I grimaced at his expression, quickly rushing towards the bathroom. “I can scrub your back.”
His voice was louder this time, and I slammed the door shut, turning on the lock.

I stood in front of the mirror, I had changed from the clothes I used to clean into one of the pajamas I stole from Liam, my younger brother. Now I am contemplating whether or not to bind my chest.
I mean, Christian already knows that I am not a boy, and he is letting me stay in his room, so I could be a little freer.
I miss having my naked boobs in my shirt without wearing any form of support.
Oh, how I miss being a girl.
Choosing the former, I squeezed the binder in my bag and zipped it; even if it’s just for today, I will let my boobs breathe a little.
“Finally,” Christian muttered when he heard the closing thud of the door. “I was thinking you fainted or something.”
My eyes widened almost immediately as they trailed down his bare body. Broad shoulders narrowed into a sculpted chest, the muscles defined and firm as if carved from stone. A faint line ran down the center of his abdomen, guiding my gaze over the ridges of his toned stomach and along the V-line of his lower hips before disappearing beneath the towel hanging low around his lower waist.
Saliva pooled in my mouth, and I was regretting refusing to bathe with him.
“Quit ogling at me,” He muttered before he shoved me out of the doorway, and then he disappeared into the bathroom.
Fuck me.
I don’t think I will be surviving a night here with Christian; I might just be ready to part with my virginity.
