Chapter 15 A Real Girl
Lana’s Point of View
“Stand up.” My heart stopped beating the moment he said that. This was it for me; my legs trembled as I got up. “How can you sit down on such bad furniture?”
He asked curiously, and my eyes widened.
“Huh?” I muttered as I stared down at my desk, before my eyes darted back towards the principal, who was now discussing with his assistant. “See to it that the desk is replaced; it’s bad.”
Almost immediately, the men got to work, removing the desk from my presence and taking it out of the classroom. My heart was pounding in my chest as I tried to make sense of it all.
The principal cleared his throat as he continued with his speech.
“So, it has been brought to my notice that some students have been using the unauthorized spaces, like the library, swimming pool, and other places that are out of bounds for both staff and students.” I felt the hairs on my skin prickling. “The school has provided a general utility space for the comfort of the student; there is a general library and swimming pool for your recreation. We strongly advise against going into such unauthorized spaces.”
“Hey,” Xavier nudged me lightly, and a terrified gasp escaped my lips. My eyes flickered down to meet his green orbs that were staring intently at me. “Are you alright? You look pale.”
“Uhm.” I nodded.
He suddenly dragged his chair backwards and then got up. Before I could speak, he placed his hands on my shoulder and forced me to sit down on his own chair, while he stood for me, watching my desk get replaced.
My desk was replaced while the principal continued with his announcement, encouraging students to use the public spaces instead. I was only finally able to catch my breath when they left the classroom.
“Are you okay?” Xavier asked again, and I nodded as I stepped out of his seat.
“Thank you,” I mumbled, my voice barely over a whisper, as I wobbled back to my seat. Since they were not here for me, this might mean Christian didn’t report me to the principal—even after I had kicked him in the nuts last night.
But why?
He had the power, he had the proof, so why didn’t he report me?
Just as I was deep in thought, I felt something hard strike my forehead. My eyes darted towards the entrance of the classroom, from where the projectile came. The ice blue eyes that belonged to Christian narrowed at me as he grinned.
My heart skipped another beat as soon as I recognized him, his enchanting gaze focused on me. As he walked further into the classroom, he grabbed someone’s chair and leaned it against my desk.
He placed a foot on the desk and pushed himself forward until our faces were centimeters apart, my head moved back, and he smirked.
“Hey there,” He muttered, and I stiffened.
My eyes snapped around the classroom as if I was calling out for help; everyone knew his reputation in the school, and they were all surprised that a boy like him was in our class.
Talking to me.
“I believe we both have something to talk about, don’t we?” He asked curiously, and I glanced back at him, this time unable to look away from his unnerving gaze. “Let’s go and finish now, but depending on whether or not you cooperate with me, things can get pretty ugly.”
I held my breath. “You don’t want that, do you?”
I knew what that threat meant, so I nodded meekly. I felt someone grab my arms before I could exit the classroom with Christian, restricting my movement. A soft gasp escaped my lips when I turned back to see Xavier.
“Why are you taking away a student from my class?” Xavier asked Christian directly, as he tried to pull me over to his side, but Christian’s grip tightened, refusing to let me go.
Great… Now I am stuck in this love triangle once again.
“Who made you class president?” Christian grinned, a tinge of mockery laced in his voice as he stepped closer to Xavier, their chests only centimeters apart. “How is this any of your business?”
“I am not going to sit around and let you bully Alan.” He promised.
“Bully?” he chuckled darkly, his eyes darting towards me. “Who said anything about bullying him?”
“Then why are you removing him from class?” He asked again, and then Christian’s icy death stare fell towards me.
“Why don’t you tell him?” He urged me, a threat lingering around his twitching lips. “Should I tell him? Do you want me to?”
“Xavier,” I called breathlessly, as much as I am grateful to him for helping me, his meddling will put me in trouble. “I am fine. I have to discuss some personal things with him.”
I removed my wrist from his grip, and he just stood there watching me as I left with Christian. He led me to the bathroom, my heart hammering in my chest.
“You have balls of steel for someone who is ballless.” He teased as he shoved me inside one of the stalls.
“Please, Christian,” I begged. “I didn’t mean to hurt you; I was only scared.”
“I could tell.” He mused, my eyebrows shot up in surprise as he locked me against the wall again, and his eyes remained glued on my flattened chest. “How do you hide them so well?”
His fingers trailed down my neck, lingering on my collarbones, before they slid down my chest.
“It’s quite thick, but unless there is physical contact, it’s almost impossible to notice you have breasts.” He seemed amused, or rather fascinated.
I felt my cheeks burn hot red, but I made no attempt to move away from his fingers; it was as if my body didn’t recognize Christian as a threat. My heart pounded in my chest, not from fear but rather out of excitement. This is something that I have fantasized about countless times.
I pressed against him in a sexually provocative way, and the way his deep, husky voice reflected his arousal made me lean into him unconsciously.
He pressed his hand against my crotch.
“You’re really a girl, aren’t you?”
