David sat himself on the sofa in his mommy’s living room who was still being treated at the hospital. Tamara’s condition is still unstable so he still needs treatment and control from a doctor. He is not alone, beside him is Hana who is now folding some of Tamara’s dirty clothes into a bag that David will take home to be washed by Laksmi’s aunt.
“Hana? Sorry in advance. But if we’re alone like this, I won’t call you sister.” He said who was now watching Hana’s every movement of agile hands.
“It’s okay, we’re the same age too, aren’t we? Just as comfortable as you are David. I’ve never had a problem with it”
“Aren’t you tired?” asked David who was now concentrating on his right cheek using his hand, keeping his face towards Hana.
“No, I’m not tired at all. Why?”
“You know that’s not what I meant? I meant something different.”
Hana smiled and shook her head.
“Not at all, my baby is what keeps me strong and enduring. I just want to get to the truth, and I’m sure God will show it to me. One more thing.” Hana closed the bag that already contained dirty clothes and then looked at David until now they were both staring at each other.
“What?.” David asked again.
“You David. Thank you for keeping me going. Indirectly you have given me encouragement and strength too.”
David was stunned for a moment, he looked right into Hana’s eyes, and there was no lie or doubt there. Because of him? Didn’t he hear wrong? Or was he just dreaming?
“David.” Call Tamara who has now woken up from her sleep making David and Hana stop talking.
“Mommy?” David immediately stood up and went straight to Tamara who had just woken up.
“Just arrived?”
David shook his head.
“It’s been a while mom, now I want to go home. Also bring Mommy’s dirty clothes, I also have class this afternoon. Mommy need something?”
Tamara shook her head weakly.
“No, go home. Don’t you have a schedule too? Mommy doesn’t need anything, Mommy’s just tired.”
“Really? Then I’ll go home first. Don’t forget now Mommy eats and takes medicine then continue to sleep Mommy.” David smoothed Tamara’s messy hair and then walked away from there, taking the bag that Hana had prepared.
“Ow yeah, you too Hana. If I remember, today is the last day you run out of vitamins right? I already bought a new one.” David put a small bottle that was exactly the same as the bottle he gave Hana last time.
“You remember? I was just about to go to the pharmacy. Those vitamins are really good, you shouldn’t have bothered David.”
“It’s okay, remember. Don’t be too tired. I’ll go first, if I have time I’ll come back here.” After giving the vitamins to Hana, David actually left the room leaving Hana and Tamara of course.
Hana glanced at the clock on the wall in the room, and it was time for the in-laws to eat the food provided by the hospital and take medicine as usual. Hana slowly took the tray he brought to the small nightstand near her mother-in-law’s bed.
“Madam eat first, okay?” Hana said slowly lifting a bowl that only contained rice porridge which looked very mushy.
“Hehhhh... I can do it myself. And one more thing, don’t call me madam again, the last time Jeffran heard him, he scolded me all the way.”
“Then what should I call?”
“It’s up to you, I don’t care.”
“T-then, mommy?” Hana said doubtfully but didn’t get a response from Tamara, maybe it’s okay Hana thought. “Mommy are you eating now?”
“I said I could do it myself.” Tamara took the spoon that was in Hana’s hand and began to spoon the porridge in the bowl that Hana was always holding slowly.
Hana frowned when she saw her mother-in-law forcibly swallowing the mushy porridge. But she didn’t want to make a sound, afraid Tamara would get angry. It will affect her blood pressure.
“Already___” Tamara put the spoon back into the bowl Hana was holding. The porridge was not spent.
“Now mommy is taking medicine.” Hana took off the bowl he was holding on the nightstand near the bed, he took some medicine and poured water into the glass that was already there
Without further protest, Tamara followed Hana’s every move, where Hana handed her the medicine and gave her water to drink carefully. After it finishes. Hana slowly laid back Tamara’s body back to rest.
“Now, Mommy is sleeping. Later in the afternoon, Mommy washes her body with warm water.”
“Hmm...” Tamara only answered with a mumble, to be honest she still felt dizzy if he was sitting too long, Tamara closed her eyes. Maybe because of the effects of the drugs she was taking. A few minutes later Tamara fell asleep again.
Hana smiled gently then tidied up Tamara’s blanket a little so that it was more fitting for her mother-in-law to wear. She also tidy up the plates and glasses that had been used just now. Hana didn’t miss all of that.
Hana sat back on the sofa near the door. She had just sat down when suddenly her cell phone rang because there was an incoming call.
“Hello? Who?” Hana said to someone on the other side, she didn’t know who was calling.
“Hello, it’s me.”
“Adriel’s?” asked Hana to make sure, she knew this sounded like Adriel’s voice.
“Yes, it’s me.”
“Owww you, how did you know this phone number?”
“You idiot, of course I kept it straight before I gave it to you.”
Hana just nodded slowly, she should have known. Why did he have to ask like that?
“How’s mommy doing?”
“Mommy is asleep, she just finished eating and taking medicine.”
“Mommy?”
“Ah__that. Mommy herself told me to call her that.”
“Oww__that’s how it is. I thought you were getting presumptuous. Where’s David?”
“He had gone home.”
“Hmmm... good. Then I turn off the phone.”
Beep...
Without a final sentence Adriel immediately hung up the phone. Hana lowered her cell phone, staring at Her phone screen which was now dark and not lit.
Ting...
One message entered Her cell phone. And there is a name listed there that has been saved.
David

Don’t forget to take your vitamins, I’m already home.
As for your phone number, sorry I stole it before I got home.
Remember to take your vitamins.
Hana smiled crookedly, she was very happy, at least one person was watching her and the baby. If there is black in this world then there is also white as the cure. And Hana realized that.
Thank you.
