Kent POV
My head throbs as I slowly stretch my eyes wide open. Last night was like a dream but when I felt a heavy head lying on my arms, I saw her, the woman I resented fifteen years ago. She's calmly sleeping beside me. She's still in her deep sleep and I didn't want to wake her up. I slide her hair covering from her face and locked it behind her ears. I smiled to see the full view of her bare face. She's still beautiful as ever. I suddenly stop caressing her face when she started to move her body.
I didn't want to wake her. I'm still enjoying seeing her this way, at peace, with no worries and just having a sweet dream. I gently yanked myself from the mattress to prepare something for us to eat. I ambled to the kitchen and I found bacon and eggs inside the fridge. I decided to cook them since it's the only food I saw. I took one cold beer and gulped them in one shot.
After cooking them, I prepared them for the table. I feel like I'm a chef too. I want to let her know that I know now how to prepare a meal just like Gale. I had many things to ask and tell her about her life back then and how did she fall for Gale. I can't judge her yet since I don't know how what she went through back then.
I was so focused on preparing for breakfast when Lucy suddenly appeared in front of me. She's wearing my shirt which looks like a dress on her. She's so hot on it.
"Hi, you're awake! Come let's have breakfast first", I said while preparing her chair.
I acted like nothing happened last night. She looks dazed after seeing me.
“What am I doing here? Why I'm wearing your dress? Did we—" She looks pissed like she's not happy to see me. She can't lie to me anymore. I know that she is Lucy.
I have nothing to say. I just nod my head when she asked me if we had sex.
"What?!? This is wrong. I better go. Gale must be worried looking for me." She said while going back inside my room looking for her keys.
I took a deep sigh. I followed her with my arms crossed on my chest.
"Where is my thing? I gotta go!” she yelled with her eyes glaring at me.
I raise my eyebrow.
“Relax. Why are you worried about my brother?” I talked back.
Her eyes narrowed at me.
"Of course! He's my husband and I'm your brother's wife. What happened last night was a mistake. We were both drunk and devastated!” she said. But for me, it's the best thing that happened in my life.
I laughed.
“How? Why did you marry him, Lucy?” I decided to tell her the truth that Lucy and Greta are the same people.
She looks surprised.
"What? Did you call me Lucy?” she replied and burst out into laughter.
I can't believe that she's treating it like a joke.
“How many times have I told you that I don't even know that girl! Stop dreaming about her because that girl is dead!” she covered her mouth when she realized what she told me.
I came closer towards her and she walked back to make a distance from me.
"Don't come near me. Please, just let me go. Your wife is waiting for you. This is wrong!” she shouted while pushing me away from her but I wrapped my arms around her.
I saw her crying.
“Please, just stop. Don't lie to me anymore. It's you, Lucy. Your scar on your belly helps me to find you!” I whispered.
She's struggling from my embrace, but I cup her head.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I want to reconcile, and I will do anything for you to forgive me!” I promise her before I smashed my lips on her.
At first, she hesitates to kiss me back but after a moment, she willingly accepted my kiss.
“Please, tell me that you still love me!” I asked her in between our kisses.
"Yes. Please, don't leave me again!” she replied, and our kiss deepens until we found ourselves naked on my bed.
We made love again.

Cassandra POV
From being a detective, I now become a nanny.
I brought Lucy's car to the vacant area near Kent's apartment. He gave me ten dollars for my food and drinks.
I was eating a pizza while checking my watch. It's eight in the morning but Lucy hasn't come out yet. I am worried about them since they both spent the night together. What if people will saw them? What if Eloisa and Gale will notice that both of them didn't come home? It's a disaster if they will get caught.

Kent and Lucy made a quick breakfast.
Kent confessed and apologized to Lucy. He told her the truth about why he couldn't say no to Eloisa and he also told her that she faked their marriage contract.
“What? Is that true?” Lucy looks surprised after chewing the last bite of bacon in her mouth.
"Yeah. I just found out when I decided to file a divorce,” he told her.
Lucy coughed after hearing the word divorce.
"What? Why? Did you two fight? You just told me that your dad had a huge debt that's why you can't leave her!” she asked him.
Kent took a deep breath. He's now ready to tell her about Eloisa and Gale's hidden affair from them.
“I saw Gale and Eloisa go inside a hotel yesterday. That is how we met inside the bar." He confessed.
Lucy knew he would tell her already. She plans to lure Kent to their meeting place to capture their cheating thing. She acted sorry for him and she went mad over Gale.
"How dare they lie to us? I know before why Gale treated me so cold. He's always busy and going home late. To think that he was Eloisa's lover, I feel like hell." She said while trying to let go of her tears.
Kent felt mad inside. He can't accept the fact that Lucy had feelings for his stepbrother Gale. Besides, she's married to him so there's no point to get her back unless she will file a divorce too.
Kent remembered her going to prison so he asked her what happened that time.
“I heard that you went to prison for five years. Tell me who filed a case against you? I'm sorry for leaving you alone!” Kent said feeling guilty for what he did.
Lucy tried to calm herself. To think about her past seems like a nightmare. She can't believe that he's the one who put her in prison. She was confused about Kent's question. She chuckled.
"You can't remember what you did? You were the one who told the police that I stole the money you gave me to start a new life. How could I start when you were the one who ruined it?” Lucy's eyes were filled with hatred.
Kent had no idea what Lucy was saying. He's naive to her accusations to him. He didn't know about it.
“How could I report you when I transferred that money to your account to help you," Kent said depending on himself.
Lucy's head spinning whom to believe.
"So who reported me, Eloisa? Just tell me the truth Kent. You know what, both of you did a terrible thing to me for the second time." She added.
Kent's head throbs too. He was thinking about how Eloisa manipulated the people around him.
"Tell me. I'm willing to listen." He replied.
Lucy started to cry. She can't hold her tears falling down her face anymore. She took a tissue to wipe it.
"You and Eloisa faked the adoption papers! I just found out when you went to the states and brought Austin. I went back to the mansion to take him back but it's too late. You told me to take care of us but how can you go with her and take our son away from me?” she burst out in tears.
Kent stood up to comfort her.
“I didn't know about it. Eloisa told me that she will take care of the adoption papers, so I trusted her. I'm sorry for what happened. I promise to put everything to normal." He pledged to her while he caresses her back.
Lucy just keeps crying. It's hard for her to think about it again.
Kent cupped her face to meet his eyes. He has a plan, and he wants her to help him.
"Did Gale know you were my ex-girlfriend, and we had a son?” he asked her.
Lucy nods her head.
“Okay. I love you and if you love me, file a divorce, and I will take Austin to you. We can leave the country as soon as possible. Are you willing to do that?” he wanted to know if Lucy accepts it.
She looks worried and scared. Her face turned pale, and her body froze. Kent notices it. He holds and presses her hands.
"Why? You look like you see a ghost!” Kent said.
Lucy recalled what was written in the contract between her and Gale. The tenth rule which punishment to traitors."
