Blood Moon's Rightful Alpha (Part II)
Blood Moon's Rightful Alpha (Part II)
That Night
Essence stilled in bed hearing a faint husky whisper from behind her.
“I can see your Meek Mills.”
“Shit!” she shouted. Jumping up, she covered her head, but stopped when she heard Kano laugh uncontrollably. “That is not funny!” she seethed.
“Yes, it is. I asked Ericka what it meant, and the picture provided left me in stitches.” Handing over her bonnet, his eyes gleamed at her. “I’m just kidding by the way—though yes, your hair is destroyed.”
Throwing the bonnet at him, she grumbled. “It’s your damn fault.”
“And I’m not sorry,” he whispered, pulling her closer.
Her body jerked as she felt his hardened manhood poke her from behind. “Oh, hell no!” she said, jumping up from the bed. “Take your royal ass to sleep because we are not having sex again.” She turned up her nose. “I don’t care how fine you are, and how good you smell, and how you ripped my dress off and—fucking hell, I’m about to talk my way into having sex again.”
Kano chuckled. “I was hoping you might. Besides, I feel as though we should just go for broke. I’ve destroyed your hair, you’ve destroyed my sheets, if you ask me, we should just enjoy the full moon tonight.” His eyes tinged gold making him look almost feral as they roamed over her body. “You know, they say under certain circumstances a full moon could make a wolf insatiable,” he said, his voice laced with desire. He tilted his head at her tightening her legs. “And clearly mine isn’t the only one reacting.”
“Again, not funny!” she shouted as a blush crept onto her cheeks. Hearing a familiar voice through the walls, she lifted her head and scrunched her face. “I didn’t know Rafael stayed the night.”
“Yes. Everyone kind of just crashed after the coronation. Caitlyn even stayed to watch a movie with Kanon. It appears those two and Chip have really hit it off.” Seeing her smile widen, Kano stood and kissed her cheek. “Okay, how about this? You go and sneak your midnight meal—love me enough to bring me back an extremely tall glass of water—and when you’re recharged, we can see how many orgasms it takes until you’re completely drained again.”
Essence’s mouth parted. “You’re right. You have become vulgar,” she said, her blush steadily increasing.
Making a dirty face, Kano sneered. “I’ve recently learned a trick. Replay any sexual encounter of ours—remove the romantic mental music that somehow plays—and tell me what you’re left with.”
Essence’s eyes drifted to the drenched spot on the sheets as she replayed the aggressive lovemaking that had given her so many orgasms she thought she would pass out. Glancing at the deep scratches sprayed across Kano’s chest, her eyes widened at the sight of the small fragment of the ripped necktie that remained tied to the headboard. She covered her mouth, and seeing her reaction, he belted a laugh. “Mhm, now who’s vulgar?” he teased, craning his neck, exposing the hickies she’d left behind. “Don’t worry, it’s a compliment. You, my Belle, are certainly not for the faint of heart.” He smirked and pointed to the red G-string and that laid on the floor. “But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone… nasty.”
Face completely red, Essence quickly dressed and raced from the room. “I’m not leaving because I’m embarrassed. I’m leaving because I’m starving!” she yelled from the hall.
He laughed in return. “Surrrreee, Luna, keep telling yourself that. Oh, and hurry back, I’m still completely famished.”
Darting to the kitchen, Essence almost shed her skin when she ran into Rafael. “I wasn’t being porn star freaky with Kano!” she screamed, before realizing his face was as red as hers. Arching her brow, she looked at his disheveled hair. “What have you been doing?”
He shook his head frantically. “Gregory, and now I’m hiding. I don’t know who that is you brought back with you, but that is not the Greg I knew all those years ago. I don’t have to look at it to know that my hair looks like yours right now.”
“W-What is happening in this house?! Kano won’t knock it off and I feel—” She waved her hand, and he nodded.
“It’s his fault in the first place, which is why he probably didn’t tell you!” he shouted as he pointed to the illuminating full moon through the window. “Every mated wolf in Blood Moon is celebrating the seating of our rightful alpha.”
Essence’s eyes shifted blue. “Why the hell wouldn’t anyone put that in a pamphlet or something?! At the minimum, send a text! Full moon, plus rightful alpha equals raging wolf hormones!” She poured Kano a glass of water and then pointed to her chest. “You would clutch your pearls if you could hear the stuff she’s saying.”
“You guys, too?” Anastasia asked, scaring them. Her hair all over her head, she let out a deep breath. “Cayden has been on me like a second skin, and for the life of me, I can’t seem to mind.” She shook her head. “You both saw the way he carried me off from the coronation. My dress is completely useless. I heard that this might happen, but my wolf, she’s just—” She coughed and rubbed the back of her neck.
Hearing footsteps coming down the hall, the three froze like they were in a horror movie. Upon seeing Ericka, they all let out a sigh of relief.
She avoided their eyes. “Okay… so from our collectively fucked up hair, I’m not the only one who’s experiencing the extreme need to connect with their mate.”
Essence grinned. “You and Phil did the nasty?”
“Don’t say his name, he’ll pop up like Candyman,” she said, nervously. Arms folded, she scrunched her face. “What the hell do you all put in the water around here? He literally was at work all day right before the coronation, and still came here, and worked me over like I said something about his mama.” She sighed. “Having a baby face wouldn’t bother me either if I had a dick longer than a CVS receipt. I barely made it out alive, and he didn’t even care!” She shook her head. “And poor Brenda…”
“What about Brenda?” Essence asked, full of concern
She scratched the back of her head. “Well… Stephan and Fontaine had patrol duty, so they took shifts.”
“Okay.”
“With her.”
Rafael covered his mouth. “You mean…” His words trailed off as a scream tore from down the hall.
“What more do you want from me?! I have nothing, nothing, nothinggggg! Take y’all asses to bed!” Brenda yelled as she slammed her bedroom door, silencing music from the other side. Storming down the hall, she pointed angrily at Essence. “You! I don’t know how or why, but I feel you and Alpha are responsible for me being tag teamed! I was doing so good at keeping the kitty on lock, and now I’m just throwing it at them like a damn boomerang!”
Essence covered her mouth to keep from laughing at her outfit and destroyed hair. “Bren, why do you have on a cat costume?” she asked, attempting to regain her focus.
Brenda stomped her foot and pulled at the black and white cat ears. “Because I got confused, okay?! One minute I’m at the coronation dancing with two fine ass men, and the next thing I know I’m watching Fontaine hop to Atomic Dog. Somewhere between the neck rolls and the gold boots, I ended up in a cat costume with him chasing me around the room. The song ended, and Stephan showed up saying he got off work early and now I’m certain I broke something!”
Ericka giggled. “And yet, you seem extremely content.”
“Shutthefuckupivedoneabsolutelyfilthythingsinthatbedroomwiththemandtothem,” she grumbled under her breath. “My ass was in there swinging from tree to tree like the female Tarzan. I told you they were too big, Eri.”
“Didn’t stop you though,” Stephan said behind her, chuckling when she let out a yip. Kissing her cheek, he pulled her closer to him. “In fact, we’re impressed, and very happy. Funsized in your context must mean able to take two dicks at once.”
“Shut up!” Brenda shouted in complete horror. Whipping around, she faced everyone. “I did not do that!”
“The hell you didn’t,” Fontaine said, joining them while laughing. Kissing her other cheek, he whispered,
“And where do you think you’re going, hm?” Shifting, they tilted their head back and forth, laughing at her tinging eyes. “I’m learning that your eyes are your tell, Bren.”
“Stop saying my name like that! You know what it does to me, you demon!” she shouted. Backing into Essence, she felt her senses go on alert. Turning, she pointed upward slowly. “Uhh, E… Alpha is…”
Eyes as blue as the ocean, Essence shook her head. “I know. I-I can sense him. What he look like?”
“L-like he’s about to fucking annihilate you and leave not a piece behind.”
“Speaking of…” Stephan chuckled, causing Brenda’s eyes to widen as she let out another yip before they cornered her against the sink.
Hearing Ericka laugh, she shouted, “Oh, you think shit’s funny?! Bet I got something for your ass. Phil, Phil, Phil, Phil, Phil!”
Ericka let out a gasp. “Oh, you tiny, petty, bit—” She froze, feeling a hand on her arm. Eyes huge and golden, she murmured, “Just like Candyman.”
Phil kissed her neck. “Don’t run; we’re not finished yet. I told you not to let the baby face fool you, Ms. Eri, ” he quipped.
All seemed to quiet the moment Kano placed his hand on Essence’s shoulder. Reaching down, he took the glass of water from her hand. “Thank you,” he said low, smirking when his wolf picked up on her wolf reacting to its pheromones.
Turning slowly, she watched his muscular chest rise and fall as he drank. “Welcome,” she said, her own mouth now dry.
Giving her a nod in return, he pointed to Gregory and Cayden leaning smugly against the entrance of the kitchen. “Looks as if your mates have all found you,” he said, while looking at Essence with desire. She let out a gasp when he picked her up. “Now, if you all will excuse the luna and I; we have a lot more celebrating to do before this full moon ends.” Carrying her away, he called over his shoulder, “Oh, and Rafael, please schedule a hair appointment for the morning. What has been destroyed will certainly be in ruins come sunrise.”
