Chapter 2: Until When Does This Bad Rance Last?
"Where have you been? I have been looking for you since yesterday." A petite lady wearing a faded blue booty short that covers only her butt cheeks and a pink loose V-neck shape tee dress that exposes her cleavage. Paired with 3inches High heels sandals.
The lady walked closer to him and tiptoed in an attempt to kiss him. However, Bodi is fast enough to avoid the girl and walk past her.
"It's none of your business! Where's mom?" Bodi said in a very cold manner.
"Hey! I am your wife here! Why can't you treat me nicer?" Wailed the girl
Bodi halts and faces the girl, he walks back to the girl, holds and cares for her chin. The girl closed her eyes as she thought Bodi was gonna kiss her.
Bodi smirked and said,
"In your dreams Emily! We're husband and wife only in papers! I will never! ever! like you! keep that in your bird brain!" Bodi let go of her chin and walked away, but before that-
"Are you sure you are 3 months pregnant? Look at yourself in the mirror!" Bodi climbs up the stairs leaving the girl that is now in a rage.
Bodi went to his room, changed his clothes, and called his mom.
"Mom, where are you?"
"Oh son, I forgot I have a very important meeting today. So I won't be there, take care of your wife, okay? Don't stress her out, she is pregnant with your child. Remember? Bye, son!" Bodi's mom ended the call instantly before Bodi could speak again as if she was in a hurry.
"Bodi just sighs in frustration and tosses his phone on the bed. He knows very well that his mom is just making excuses so he could stay at home with that evil girl downstairs. That's why his mom tells him that she is going to visit their house today.
Bodi decided to sleep as he is really tired because of the extreme activity that he and Sean did back at the Villa.
Bodi woke up around 6 pm feeling hungry. He remembered he hadn't eaten anything since morning so he went down to the kitchen and asked the maid to prepare his food.
" Auntie, don't let Emily touch my food, okay?" Bodi to the middle-aged housemaid. "Who knows what kind of drugs she will put in my food this time." Bodi thought.
After Bodi finished his meal, he went back to his room again and Dialed His friend's number
"Hey! Simon, are you busy tonight?"
"Not, I'm free," replied Simon.
"Wanna hang out?"
"Same place?"
"Sure, ask others to... see you there, bye"
Bodi changed his clothes, grabbed his car key then went downstairs where he saw Emily sitting on the couch and then stood up when she saw Bodi walk past her.
"Honey, where are you going? It's already evening, don't leave me here alone, I'm scared." Emily acts like a child and makes Bodi's blood boil.
The maids and the guards were here, what are you scared of? As if this was the first time I left you here with them!" Bodi rolled his eyes and walked to his car and drove off.
At the bar;
"Hey, guys! wazzup? Bodi greeted his friends Simon, Owen, and Leon.
"Ah, the great Bodi Harris Markle is finally here." Simon then bumps their fists as greetings.
"So what's with that face, huh? Owen said upon noticing his dejected face while Leon just shook his head.
"Mom tricked me again, so I don't have a choice but to stay the whole afternoon in the house. Just seeing that girl's thick face makes all my nerves rigid." Bodi then picked up the glass of beer and took a swig of it.
"Hey man, slowly! We have plenty of time." Simon noticed the purplish spots on Bodi's neck and grimace. He grabbed the hem of Bodi's shirt and rolled it up. The three just exchanged glances at each other and began laughing crazily. Bodi yanks and pulls down his shirt back from Simon.
"Stop it guys! It's not funny at all!"
The three stopped laughing and wiped the tears from their eyes." Tears of too much laughter.
"So what's up with you and Sean?" Asked Owen. Instead of answering, Bodi took another glass of beer and gulped it down in one go.
"Leon just patted his shoulder while chuckling. He took a glass of beer and drank it down. Owen and Simon just stare at each other while shrugging their shoulders off.
"You have to train hard bro," Simon smirks, then drinks a glass of beer.
"You two, really have to do that? I mean why did you and Sean have to fight first before doing that thing?" - Owen
"I don't know, he wants to be at the top but of course, I want to be on top of him too." Bodi while snickering
"But you always lost to him, geez! " Simon scoffed at him
"Is riding on top of him not being top?" Owen replied, teasing him. His face tainted red, recalling their intense activity in the morning.
"What's wrong with being at the bottom?" Simon asked not so innocently as to earn the latter's meaningful glares.
"What?" Did I say something wrong?
It feels good being at the bottom though, you know!" Simon murmured but loud enough for them to hear what he said, which earned another doubting stare from his friends. "Owen chuckles and drinks another shot of beer.
"So what about Emily, bro?" asked Leon. "What's your plan with her? What if your father-in-law found out that you are cheating on her with Sean Albrecht?"
"Hey! I am not cheating on her with Sean, okay? I didn't like her in the first place. If only she didn't drug me, maybe I should at least pity her. Bodi took a glass of beer again before continuing.
"I am not even sure if the baby is mine as I don't remember anything. Mom pursued and threatened me to go on a date with her or the family would disown me. I just drank only a glass of water and after that– " Bodi heaves a sigh. "I woke up naked beside that bitch in the hotel and after one month she claimed that I am the father of his baby. Mom threatened me again to marry that bitch or her family will withdraw all their shares in our company. Fucking b*tch!"
"Mnnn," Leon, Simon, and Owen just hum patting Bodi's back pitying their friend.
"And what about Sean? What's your plan with him?" Loen asked again.
"What plan? We're not in that kind of relationship and you know that! He and I were business rivals and you know… s*x partners!" Bodi gulped another shot of beer.
"Ohh really? But your eyes were telling otherwise. hm?" Owen teased him. They drank and drank until 2 am, everyone hailed a cab as they can't drive their cars anymore.
"Mr. Driver, at the number 85105 Albrecht residence Goldville subdivision." Bodi to the taxi driver. "Yes sir," replied the driver.
At Albrecht Villa, Sean was sleeping peacefully in his comfortable cozy king-size bed when a pair of arms encircled him. Sean with his quick reflexes grabbed the hands of the intruder. Twisted it in the back and pressed the intruder on the bed. Sean is riding the intruder's back. His left hand held the other hand of the intruder above his head so he couldn't move and fight back.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Sean interrogates the intruder. The room is dark so he couldn't see the face of the intruder.
"mmmmmnnn... mmmmnnnn! B-Bodi!.
"What? I can't hear you!
"mnnn... Bo–Bodi!" Bodi struggles to speak as his face is pressing against the mattress.
Hearing the name Bodi, Sean instantly let go of Bodi's hand and snapped his fingers for the light to turn on.
"Huh! You scared me, babe! Why are you here at this hour? And, Ughh! You're a reek of alcohol! Sean could smell the strong scent of alcohol in Bodi's breathing and even his clothes stank.
"Lemme sleep first," Bodi replied lazily instead of answering Sean's queries; he slumped his body on the bed and began snoring. He's now sleeping soundly.
Sean was left speechless at Bodi's manners, however, he can't possibly let the man sleep like that.
Sean discards Bodi's shoes, socks, and the remaining garments then wipe Bodi all over with a damp towel and puts on a pair of pajamas. Sean pulled the blanket and covered Bodi up to his neck and sat down beside him.
Sean caresses and brushes Bodi's hair with his fingertips while staring at the man with adoration. Sean whispered, "I Love You, Bodi. I love you very much."
Sean kisses him on the forehead and lays down beside the man he's secretly in love with. Although they were business rivals, Sean never intended to harm his beloved man.
Sean has been in love with Bodi ever since the first time they met. However, Sean wasn't sure how Bodi feels towards him. And now that Bodi is already married and expecting a child a few months later, what will happen now? "Until when does this Bad Romance last?"
