78: Escaping the cabin

It was dinner time, and Kavyaa had refused to come downstairs from her room, after what he did to her last night.

A very loud dragging sound was heard coming from her room.

{R} She's up to something!

Curious to see what his mate was up to, Ethan came towards her room, to see it closed.

He heard her shuffling inside and was eager to come into her room. However, he refrained from doing so.

Knock//Knock...

"Bambi don't be mad at me, please. You know I only did that to you because you were so stressed out about my secret?"

To make it up to her, Ethan had cooked her his famous lasagne.

Kavyaa on the other hand had plans of her own. She'd sneaked to Ethan's room and grabbed his car keys from his table. There was no way she would be able to escape from him on foot, however, she'd been determined to find another way.

It was risky.

It was stupid!

But it had to be done.

Hearing her open the window in her room. Ethan knocked on her door again.

"Bambi, what are you doing?"

With no response coming from her, Ethan got curious and went to open her door, however, it was locked.

"Kavyaa opens this door right now, please." He said keeping his tone as neutral and calm as possible.

"Leave me alone Ethan!" She fired.

Ethan smirked, glad she was still talking to him.

"Baby, you know I can't do that. If you're stressed out again, you know I can help you relieve your stress if you let me in?" He grinned quite eager to get his hands on her again.

Kavyaa on the other hand blushed hard at what he did to her.

Did she enjoy it?

She knew she shouldn't have, but the way he handled her and pleased her made her forget about her worries. A deep part of her did like him, but another part of her knew it was wrong. He was a monster who wanted to take a bite out of her at the end, and that petrified her.

"For the last time, I didn't like what you did Ethan!" She fumed with a lie.

Ethan chuckled amused by her statement.

"Then why didn't you push me away?" He reminded making her groan in frustration.

Why didn't she push him away?

Because she loved what he did to her!

"I hope you know that I'm having a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome!" She said with a little uncertainty in her voice.

"Baby you're not. I do know that you're feeling alone right now and if you please open the door, I can comfort you?"

Alone? Kavyaa's eyes almost brimmed with tears as she let that word sink in. He was right, she was alone. All alone up against the monsters in her life and she knew she couldn't wait for Mark to save her.

What if she opened the door and Ethan easily attacked her down and gave her a bite right now?

She wasn't hundred percent certain if she'd survive his deadly bite.

"No! For the last time, go away Ethan!"

{R} She's panicking Ethan, I can feel it.

"Kavyaa, sweetheart open the door, please? C'mon, we can talk about whatever is bothering you?" Ethan tried to persuade her in his calmest coolest tones.

He heard her grabbing something and he sighed breaking the door handle with ease with one twist and opening the door. He scoffed seeing the large piece of wardrobe that she'd dragged across the floor earlier, blocking her entrance.

Ethan growled annoyed.

"Seriously? You think a wardrobe is going to block me?" Just as Ethan pushed the heavy wardrobe away Kavyaa took her chance and smashed a heavy ceramic lamp upon his head. Ethan went down on the ground and clutched his head then growled out angrily. He saw her running away from the gap in the door and easily caught her foot and easily tripped her up, making her yelp.

"Get back here, Bambi!" he dragged her across the floor with is one hand stretched across from the gap of the door.

Kavyaa shrieked out of surprise and looked back at Ethan trying to drag her towards him.

"Let me go!" She yelled, Ethan pushed away the wardrobe and crawled his body halfway through the gap. Kavyaa kicked out heavily with her free foot and landed one kick at his head making him growl out annoyed as he gripped tightly at her with his other hand.

"I think you're just really sexually frustrated with me, baby!" He yanked at her foot and Kavyaa yelped letting go of her shoe he'd caught on to. She quickly got up to her feet and stomped on Ethan's hand hard, making him groan in pain.

{R} Ow, baby!

"Kavyaa!" He growled hoping she'd freeze at his fearsome growl that quaked the walls around her.

Before he could get up, Kavyaa rushed towards the wardrobe he'd pushed to the side and pushed hard toppling over him.

{R} Ok, she's getting a spanking for that!

Kavyaa dashed towards the window and grabbed her sheets of rope that she'd also quickly collected from Ethan's room and started to make her way down the window.

Furious at her act Ethan got up and slashed the whole wardrobe into two pieces, throwing them to the side with ease. He ran towards the window and grabbed the sheet of rope that she made.

"Baby, what are you doing?!"

Kavyaa gasped out seeing him above the window and quickly let go of her rope of sheet. She fell three inches away from the ground and quickly dashed towards the front of the house.

Ethan sighed jumping out of the window and phasing easily into his true form as Roman.

{R} Where are you going Bambi?!

Kavyaa looked back as she heard a powerful growl shaking her to her bones and yelped out as Roman instantly gave chase.

She pulled out the key from her back pocket and quickly unlocked Ethan's car.

{E} She stole my car keys!

{R} I told you we should have bitten her sooner!

Kavyaa quickly got inside his car and fired it up.

Roman ran towards his car and Kavyaa grinned showing him the m!ddle finger in absolute defiance.

Roman lunged at her and Kavyaa gassed the pedal to the floor, with him chasing behind her in great haste.

{R} KAVYAA!!

Roman growled out angrily as he came to a stop, watching her escape with his car from the mountain.

Kavyaa looked back from her driver's mirror to see that Roman was no longer chasing her.

She was thankful for the dark Benz she escaped in. She couldn't believe she'd managed to finally escape his cabin like that. Kavyaa was laughing and crying all at once.

She knew she couldn't wait for Mark to get her. She had to get out of this town and off this island ASAP!

She had enough of Ethan telling her that she was his mate. He was delusional to think that she was, since she wasn't a she-wolf for crying out loud. If he bit her, how certain was she about her survival? What if Ethan bit her too hard?!

She was never going to let him do that.

Ever!

Kavyaa put on her seatbelt and came out of the mountain easily now, making it towards the country road, heading towards town.

She wasn't going to stop.

Not until she reached the main docks and get of this island via the ferry.

She may not have the paperwork to get through the security checks, but she could always sneak in the ferry some other way, she just had to figure that part out next before it was too late.

Suddenly and car out of nowhere came from behind her and started honking and flashing it's lights at her.

Kavyaa couldn't see who it was since it was night hours. She just noticed it was a huge black SUV car.

What the hell?! Go around me you crazy driver!

Kavyaa switched lanes to let the driver pass, but eerily it stayed behind her, making those huge honking sounds and flashing it's lights eagerly at her.

Unable to shake the driver off her tail, Kavyaa suddenly got a call in the car.

Reading the caller as BETA 1 on Ethan's id caller she pressed on the answer call button.

"He..Hello?"

"Mia?"

"Jaxson!"

"Mia, we know you're name is not Mia, It's Kavyaa right?"

Kavyaa sighed ignoring the loud honking driver from the back.

"Jaxson, I can't talk right now, I'm busy trying to flee here."

"Kavyaa please calm down, and stop the car!"

"You know I can't do that! I don't care who you people are, but I've had enough and I'm getting out of here!"

Suddenly the car from the back bumped into her from the back making Kavyaa startled and frightened.

"Jaxson is that you?!"

"No, it's not me."

Kavyaa pressed on the gas some more and tried to shake the crazy driver of her tail, but the driver wouldn't allow it.

"If that's not you then — Oh my god! Is that Klaus?!"

The car from the back bumped into her more making her yelp out afraid.

"Ahh!!! Is he crazy?!"

"Kavyaa slow down and pull over, if you don't Klaus will make you." Jaxson warned.

"Yeah?! Well bring it on you crazy wolves!"

Kavyaa gassed the pedal some more and cut the call angrily.

Klaus went to ram into her but Kavyaa saw it coming and pulled to the right, letting Klaus pass beside her.

Two cars were side to side and Klaus rolled down his window.

"Pull over Bambi."

"Make me matrix!" She bashed her car angrily at him and Klaus took off his glasses and glowed his eyes purple at her, making her frightened and angry all at once.

"You think you scare me?! I'm not scared of you @sshole!" Kavyaa fired gassing her car back in front and soon approached an oncoming truck.

Frightened to see she was in the wrong lane, Kavyaa pulled back to her left sharply. The truck passed by them and Klaus took no time ramming into the back of her vehicle so hard that it made the car flip over.

After a tumbling accident, the car remained toppled over. Kavyaa lay upside down and thankfully she hasn't injured thanks to the airbag opening up on time.

Her vision however had been blurred and as it cleared she saw dark footsteps approaching her. Frightened by the approaching presence, Kavyaa unbuckled herself from her seat and crawled out of her broken window.

She got up with a dizzy spell, due to the sudden accident and took no time shakily walking away from the ever so casual oncoming person.

"Where are you going Kavyaa?" Called out Klaus.

Kavyaa started to run away only to collide into a sudden wall.

When she looked up, she shrieked out of surprise when purple eyes gazed down at her.

"You're one naughty little lamb you know that?"

Before Kavyaa got a chance to push him away, Klaus then pulled out a white cloth and gripped and clamped it against her mouth.

"MMMM!"

"Breathe it in sweetheart."

With a sharp inhale of breath which Kavya reluctantly took, her body completely felt limp against him and her eyes started to get heavy.

"Ok, upsy-daisy." He scooped her in his arms bridal style and walked away with her mumbling a few words.

"No... Back... To... Him!" She clutched at his tie, before sleep took over her.

Klaus shook his head and brought her back to his car thanks to Jaxson easily tracking her down.

When Klaus brought her back he was curious to know.

"How did she manage to get past you?"

Ethan simply growled at him and took her off his arms.

"Nevermind. Oh I forgot to mention."

"What is it now Klaus?"

"Alpha Mark will be here by tomorrow morning to win her back."

Ethan simply smirked.

"Well, he better come at me with everything he's got, because I'm not giving her back so easily," Ethan said placing a kiss on his sleeping mate's cheek and walking away inside with her.

Klaus turned on his heel and braced to face Alpha Mark's wrath soon if Ethan lost the match.
