Chapter 202: Repay Him in His Own Coin

Chapter 202: Repay Him in His Own Coin

She was standing right there, yet he walked over to talk to Ava and ignored her entirely!

Did he think she was invisible?

That bitch Ava already had Joshua, but that wasn't enough for her—now she had to come here and seduce Timothy.

That bitch was doing this just to piss her off!

Endless humiliation washed over her. Thea completely ignored Lika's attempts to stop her, lifted her dress, and strode forward, raising her hand to deliver a hard slap.

"You bitch!"

Ava caught sight of it from the corner of her eye and barely dodged by turning her head. Furious that she'd missed, Thea grabbed a wine glass from nearby and threw the red wine at Ava.

"Thea!"

Timothy shouted angrily, raising his arm to block much of the wine, though plenty still landed on Ava's dress.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Timothy was furious as he grabbed Thea's hand.

Thea shook off Timothy's hand and swung her other hand across his face.

"Timothy, do you think I'm dead or something!"

Everyone was shocked.

Everything had been fine just moments ago—this sudden outburst caught everyone off guard.

What was wrong with this Thea?

Timothy's face turned to the side from the slap. He pressed his tongue against his numb cheek, his expression freezing instantly.

"Ava, how can you be so shameless? Seducing my fiancé right in front of me—are you that desperate for men? Throwing yourself at every guy you see—you're nothing but a shameless whore!"

Thea clenched her fists tightly and cursed viciously.

Hearing this, Ava's starry eyes shot out an icy coldness.

"I seduced your fiancé?" Ava's lips curved in a cold smile. "Which eye did you use to see me seduce your fiancé?"

"Bitch, still trying to make excuses? You were just smiling and flirting like crazy—what are you, some kind of escort?"

Lika bit down hard on her teeth, stepped forward and yanked Thea back, her face terrifyingly cold. "Thea, shut up."

Lika turned to Timothy, Ava, and everyone else, forcing an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, Thea's had too much to drink. She didn't mean it. I apologize on her behalf."

With that, she tried to pull Thea away.

"I'm not drunk!" Thea was beyond angry now, not caring about anything. She pushed Lika's hand away forcefully.

Tonight she would make sure Ava was completely disgraced.

All these men circling around Ava—why? She was from the Ellis family—what did Ava have to compete with her?

Why did all the men protect her?

Enough.

She was truly sick of it. She wanted Ava to suffer just like she did.

"Didn't you all see? This bitch was just seducing Timothy! And Timothy is my fiancé—everyone knows that. She's seducing someone else's man—if she's not a bitch, what is she?"

"You keep saying I seduced your fiancé? Just now, with everyone watching, who saw it? What exactly did I do wrong?"

Ava questioned coldly.

"What did you do? Don't you know? You dare say you didn't seduce him? If you didn't seduce him, why would he ignore me and chat happily with you?"

"So your reasoning is that because Timothy came to talk to me, I seduced Timothy?" Ava laughed coldly, her eyes full of contempt. "This fiancée of Timothy's is quite something. From now on, Timothy will have to think twice before talking to any woman, or risk being labeled a seducer and a bitch."

Thea's anger flared. "Stop twisting my words! When did I say that?"

"Then did I misunderstand? Fine, then tell me—besides talking to Timothy, what else did I do that was inappropriate that made you misunderstand? Tell me, and I'll apologize to you."

"You!" Thea glared viciously at Ava, her mind racing frantically, but she couldn't come up with anything to say.

Ava smiled lightly, raising her voice a bit. "Everyone's here. Did anyone see anything inappropriate between Timothy and me just now?"

"I don't know which eye you used to see it, but we certainly didn't see anything."

"I didn't see anything either. Just now this young lady and Timothy were just having the most normal conversation. There wasn't even any physical contact. I really don't know where you got this idea of seduction from."

"I was scared to death just now when you went up and slapped her. People who didn't know might think there's something wrong with your head. Was there anything inappropriate between this young lady and Timothy just now?"

"Maybe there really is something wrong with her. If just talking is seduction and deserves being called a bitch, then nobody should talk anymore."

"Exactly, everyone should just be mute and not communicate."

Thea's eyes swept viciously over the people speaking. "None of your business—shut up!"

"The mouth is on our body—you can't stop us from talking?"

Someone nearby tugged at the speaker. "Stop talking, or she might come over and slap you too."

Thea was shaking all over with rage.

Ava stood quietly, her expression calm as she watched Thea become the target of everyone's criticism.

No one knew how much Lika wanted to slap this idiot right now.

If she weren't from the Ellis family, Lika really wanted to leave this fool and walk away.

But precisely because she was from the Ellis family, no matter how angry and resentful she was, she couldn't leave.

Lika took several deep breaths and stepped forward. "Ava, this is a misunderstanding. Thea has a quick temper and wrongly accused you."

"Timothy and I were completely open and honest, yet we were slandered like this, and you want to sweep it under the rug with one word—'misunderstanding'?"

Ava blinked lightly.

Lika's eyes flashed sharply. "Then what do you want?"

Ava looked past Lika at Thea, who was gritting her teeth in hatred. She smiled lightly, leisurely picked up a wine glass, and walked toward Thea.

Thea glared at Ava, her chest heaving violently with anger. "What do you think you're..."

Her words suddenly caught in her throat, her whole body stiffening violently.

A chill on her head—cold red wine slowly slid down from the top of her head, instantly covering Thea's entire face.

Her carefully styled long hair, soaked with wine, hung limply on her shoulders, the red wine continuously flowing down her hair strands and dripping.

A complete mess.

"Oh my God!"

A chorus of disbelieving gasps.

Thea clenched her fists tightly and let out a piercing scream. "Ava!"

Lika looked at the disheveled Thea, her face instantly darkening.

"Ava, isn't this going a bit too far?"

Ava set the wine glass down heavily on the table, lifting her eyes to meet Lika's gaze coldly.

"Too far? Is this your first time meeting me? Don't you know I always give her a taste of her own medicine?

She threw wine at me, I returned the favor—perfectly reasonable, isn't it? Very fair, don't you think?"

Lika was momentarily speechless looking at Ava.

This woman was truly ruthless!

Thea could already imagine how pathetic she looked right now. She was about to lose her mind.

That bitch!

She lunged at Ava like a madwoman. Lika grabbed her and shouted sternly, "Enough! Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough?"

Ava stood in place watching coldly, a contemptuous sneer at the corner of her mouth.

"Who's causing trouble at my King family banquet?" Briar arrived slowly in her wheelchair.

Lika immediately pulled Thea behind her, forced a smile and quickly stepped forward. "I'm sorry, Grandma. Thea doesn't know better and caused a bit of conflict. It's resolved now. We're very sorry for disrupting the banquet."

Briar's sharp gaze swept over Lika, then landed on the disheveled Thea, glanced at Timothy, and finally her eyes settled on Ava. She reached out her hand toward Ava, calling affectionately, "Ava, come here."

A smile appeared on Ava's delicate face. Though her dress was stained, she remained elegant and composed as she stepped forward, taking Briar's hand. "Grandma, I'm sorry for unintentionally disrupting the banquet."

"It's fine. You only gave her a taste of her own medicine—what's wrong with that?" Briar looked at Ava's exquisite and pretty face, her eyes full of affection.
