Chapter 168 Ava's Disappearance
"Is Ava here?" Joshua saw Thora, who had been with Ava before, and he had some impression of her.
Thora was stunned. Although she didn't know his name, she immediately recognized Joshua as the man from Ava's birthday party. Thora quickly replied, "Ava hasn't come to work yet."
"What time did she leave last night?"
"Last night?" Thora scratched her hair, "The on-duty doctor usually gets off at ten-thirty. Ava should have left at ten-thirty."
Left at ten-thirty.
Joshua quickly opened his phone. Last night Ava called him at eleven, which meant she called him after getting back.
Maybe at that moment she was in danger and wanted to ask him for help.
But he thought they should both calm down, so he hung up on her...
Joshua wanted to slap himself hard!
Damn it!
Samuel called back, "Mr. Thomas, Ms. Davis's car entered the apartment at ten forty-five and never came out again. We followed the surveillance to the garage. The garage surveillance was destroyed, but we found signs of a struggle, and there were bloodstains next to Ms. Davis's car..."
Joshua's heart suddenly sank.
That meant Ava was kidnapped, and she was injured!
Joshua's eyes were full of gloom, "Find her, find her right now, send everyone out to look."
"Yes, Mr. Ellis."
Please don't let anything happen to her.
Joshua didn't believe in God, but at this moment he prayed desperately.
Who could it be! Who kidnapped Ava?
Joshua's mind went through faces over and over again.
Suddenly he froze.
Joshua slammed on the gas, the car quickly reversed, the steering wheel made a sharp turn, and the roaring sound was particularly piercing.
In the car, Joshua called Bruce.
"Joshua, what's wrong?"
"Where's Will?"
Bruce was startled by Joshua's gloomy voice, "Will? He's at home now... Hello? Hello?"
He hung up!
Joshua floored the gas pedal toward the Howard Villa and ordered Hayden to take people to the Ellis Villa.
When Joshua stormed into the Howard Villa with his people, Aiden, who was sitting in the living room, was shocked.
Already depressed at home from having the cooperation canceled, Aiden now looked at Joshua's murderous expression and had no idea what he was up to.
He'd already been beaten, the cooperation was canceled, their family had paid such a heavy price, and now he was coming to kill people?
"Search everywhere!"
"You... what are you doing? Joshua, what are you doing?"
He was an elder after all, standing right here, and without his permission, Joshua was directly searching his house. Was he invisible?
Was there no law anymore?
"Stop, everyone stop."
No one listened!
Clearly the Thomas family's people only listened to Joshua.
Joshua stood coldly in the hall, looking coldly at Aiden, "Call Will out."
"Will? What did he do to upset you now?"
"Mr. Thomas is looking for me?" A faint voice came from upstairs.
Joshua lifted his eyes to glance at him, gave Samuel a look, and Samuel immediately went to bring Will down.
"What is this? A raid?" Will smiled, looking at Joshua casually.
Joshua looked coldly at the person in front of him, "Ava. Where is she?"
"Your wife, and you're asking me?" Will smiled without warmth.
As soon as he finished speaking, Joshua suddenly grabbed the ashtray from the coffee table and smashed it directly at Will's head.
The glass ornament hit his head hard, shattered instantly, and fell to the ground, scattering pieces everywhere.
Will grunted, his whole body lurching to the side. Joshua stepped forward and grabbed Will by the collar, "I'll ask you one more time, where is Ava?"
Will's lips curved into an eerily strange smile, "I said, I don't know!"
"Mr. Thomas, we've searched everywhere, no one."
"Mr. Thomas, nothing suspicious found."
"Mr. Thomas, no one..."
Will smiled, "I already said no. Your wife is missing and you're asking me? Joshua, don't go too far."
Joshua suddenly let go of Will. Will raised his hand and casually wiped the blood from his forehead, saying, "If you don't believe me, feel free to turn the entire Howard Villa upside down and shake it to see if you can shake your wife out."
Joshua's deep eyes swept over him, and without staying longer, he walked toward the door. After a few steps, he turned back, his handsome face full of pressure, and said coldly.
"Will, if anything really happens to Ava, I will raze the Howard Villa to the ground. You all better pray she comes back safe and sound."
Will still smiled casually, but the moment Joshua stepped out the door, Will's face became extremely ugly, and he viciously kicked the coffee table.
Joshua didn't believe Will's words at all. If Ava was really kidnapped, he and Mia were the most suspicious.
"Send people to surround the Howard Villa. Until Ava comes back, no one from the Howard Villa leaves."
"Yes."
In the dark room, cold light shone on Ava's body. Her breathing was weak, and the cold penetrated her entire body, making her curl up.
The door to the dark room opened, and Will walked in, lifting Ava's chin, his tone light, "Joshua just came. I didn't expect him to suspect me so quickly."
Ava lifted her eyes slightly.
"It's just a pity he didn't find you, and he left again."
Will suddenly put his arm around her slender waist and leaned his head into the crook of her neck.
His light breath sprayed on her skin at such close distance. Ava was disgusted to death and desperately wanted to escape, but the man held her tightly.
"Bastard, let me go."
Her already wounded body, because of his tight restraint, made her unable to breathe from the pain.
Will sneered. He suddenly shifted his gaze below her neck and violently tore open her clothes, exposing her skin to the cold air.
Ava's mind went completely blank.
She tried to reach out to cover herself, but was directly pressed to the ground by Will, unable to move.
"Why don't you follow me? If you're willing to be with me, I'll let you go. How about that?"
Ava's teeth kept chattering, her starry eyes staring at him fiercely, "Get away!"
Will raised his hand to stroke her soft hair, "Why are you so stubborn? Not obedient at all!"
Will's hand moved down wantonly, pulling open her clothes.
"Kill me, kill me..." Ava struggled desperately, her whole body trembling with fear. This humiliation was even harder to bear than death.
Will's eyes suddenly turned cold. She'd rather die than let him touch her!
"What do I lack compared to Joshua?"
"You can't compare to him in anything." Ava's lips and teeth were trembling, but her voice was extremely firm.
"Then let's try whether he can make you feel good, or I can make you feel good."
Will tore open her clothes.
Her upper body felt cold, Ava couldn't move, utterly desperate.
"Who did this?"
Will suddenly stopped, staring at the shocking bruises all over Ava's body, his eyes narrowing terrifyingly.
Rage swept through his eyes.
At that moment, Ava grabbed a piece of broken glass nearby. She gripped it and suddenly stabbed it toward her own chest.
Will couldn't stop her in time. Blood stained Will's eyes red. He looked at the crazy Ava in front of him in shock, "What are you doing?"
Ava's starry eyes were full of fierceness, staring at him with a death wish, "I'd rather die than let you succeed. Whatever you want, all you'll get is my cold corpse."
Ava had no strength to resist now, but she wouldn't allow anyone to defile her, even if it meant death.
"Crazy." Will pulled up her clothes and shouted outside, "Get a doctor, quick!"
As soon as he finished speaking...
Gunshots rang out outside.
Will's men rushed out when they heard the noise, only to be taken down immediately.
The man's handsome face was as cold as a glacier valley. He carried a gun on his shoulder, standing at the door against the light, like a deity.
