Chapter 166: Shoot Her Dead

Chapter 166 Shoot Her Dead

Mia instinctively raised her hand to touch her face covered by the veil. Beneath it was a freshly healed scar running straight across her right cheek, ruining the beauty of her entire face.

Mia's eyes were full of hatred. The drug Ava had given Will wasn't lethal at all. After Will woke up, he had severely punished her because she had deliberately pretended to faint.

He had completely destroyed her face.

It was all because of that hateful Ava.

"Don't get cocky. Today is your death day," Mia said coldly. "Do it."

"Joshua, I'm here, help!" Ava looked behind her and shouted.

Hearing this, everyone immediately looked back. Ava turned and ran in the opposite direction.

There were too many of them. She couldn't fight them. If she got caught, she'd be dead for sure, so she had to run.

"Bitch, how dare you trick me! What are you standing there for? Shoot!" Mia roared at the hitman beside her.

The man hesitated. "Mr. Howard said not to hurt her."

"Idiot, that was only if Ava didn't run. Now she's running, so shoot."

Shoot her dead, shoot her dead.

She wanted Ava dead. Ava had to die.

"If we don't catch Ava, we're the ones who'll die. You better think carefully."

The man immediately raised his gun, aimed at Ava's leg, and fired.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Ava's leg, and she fell hard to the ground.

Blood instantly poured from her leg.

Mia let out an excited, maniacal laugh. "Hahahahaha, Ava, you're finally in my hands. Bring her back."

......

The Thomas Villa.

"Joshua, why are you staying home instead of looking for Ava?" Hayden saw Joshua sitting at home drinking alone and was about to walk over and sit down.

"Get lost."

Joshua looked back at him.

Hayden felt his scalp tingle under Joshua's cold gaze and jumped back several steps.

"Joshua, what's wrong? Who... who pissed you off?"

Just then, a phone rang. Hayden sneaked a glance at Joshua's phone and reminded him, "Joshua, it's Ava calling..."

Joshua's deep eyes glanced at the phone screen, his gaze darkening.

......He hung up!

He didn't even answer Ava's call!

Hayden's mouth twitched. Just how angry was he?

......

Ava's phone was snatched away and thrown to the ground, instantly shattering into pieces.

Ava turned her head as a large hand grabbed her chin roughly. Will's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Ava, you've finally fallen into my hands."

The severe pain in her leg combined with the unfamiliar environment made Ava's whole body tremble.

Will stood before her with a strange smile on his face, his eyes full of malice.

Behind him stood Mia, with several men in black beside her. Next to them was a solid wood table covered with sharp knives, ropes, whips...

The place was sealed on all sides—a secret room.

And it was specifically designed for torturing people.

Ava glanced at her shattered phone. That had been her only chance to call for help, but Joshua had hung up...

Ava forced herself to stay calm, meeting Will's eyes directly without flinching. "What do you want?"

"What do you think?"

"I suggest you let me go. If I go missing, Joshua will notice soon and come save me." Ava tried her best to keep her voice steady.

"Save you? He just hung up on you. Besides..." Will paused, glancing around. "In here, I believe even he won't find you for at least ten days or half a month.

And even if he does find you, I'll make sure he never leaves."

"Just you?" Ava sneered coldly.

"You don't believe me? How about we play a game and see who wins this time—him or me."

"He'll win."

"What makes you so sure?"

"Should I trust you instead?"

Will's grip on Ava's chin tightened.

Ava winced in pain, feeling like her jaw was about to shatter, but she still clenched her teeth and stared defiantly at Will.

Ava really wouldn't give in at all. Seeing her still so stubborn even as a prisoner made Will very unhappy.

"Then we'll see. Ava, I'll make you watch with your own eyes as the man you love dies right in front of you." Will coldly released Ava.

The wound on Ava's leg throbbed with intense pain as she fell hard to the ground. Despite feeling dizzy and seeing stars, she stubbornly said, "You're overestimating yourself."

"Take good care of her." After dropping that line, Will left.

Mia, who had been standing behind, looked at the disheveled Ava and let out a triumphant cold laugh. She walked forward slowly in her high heels.

"Ava, look at you now. How does it feel to be a prisoner? Pretty great, isn't it?"

"A petty person getting their moment..."

Mia's high heel suddenly stepped on Ava's hand and ground down hard.

Piercing pain kept coming. Ava's whole body went numb with pain.

Mia showed no intention of lifting her foot.

The more Ava suffered, the more pleased she felt.

Ava had finally fallen into her hands.

The injuries she had suffered—she would make Ava pay back double.

"Someone, drag her up and tie her to that pillar. I'll punish her myself."

Two men in black immediately came forward, dragged Ava up, and tied her to the pillar.

Mia's slender fingers wandered over the row of knives. "Which one should I use to torture you?"
