Chapter 141 Sleeping Together Holding Her

Chapter 141 Sleeping Together Holding Her

Mia was trembling with fear, "Who, who are you?"

The man curved his lips, the coldness around him deepening, "Your savior."

"Why would you save me?" Mia shrank into the corner. Her instinct told her this man was not ordinary, making her instinctively afraid.

Mia cried out as the man grabbed her neck. His face moved closer to hers, "Do you hate Joshua? He only saved Ava, not you. His heart only has room for Ava. Do you hate him?"

At the mention of this, Mia's eyes flashed with viciousness as she clenched her teeth hard, "I hate him, of course I hate him. It's all because of that bitch, all that bitch's fault."

"Do you want revenge?"

Yes, of course she did. She dreamed every day about how to kill Ava.

Every time that bitch was so lucky, escaping every single time.

Everyone was helping her, everyone.

How could she not hate?

"I'll help you..." The man paused, leaning close to her ear with a chilling voice, "Kill her. How about it?"

Mia's pupils contracted, "You're willing to help me?"

"That's right. The price is becoming my woman." Will's fingers brushed across Mia's lips, though disgust flashed in his eyes.

"You... fine, I agree. As long as you help me kill Ava, I'll agree to anything."

Will curved his lips in a cold smile, "Good girl. Then strip."

Mia bit her teeth hard. She had nothing left. To kill Ava, she could give up anything.

Besides, she'd seen this man before—Will from the Howard family, the one who wasn't favored.

Even if he wasn't favored, he was still part of the Howard family. Becoming his woman meant she would be Will's wife in the future, and Ava would only deserve to be trampled under her feet.

With this thought, Mia didn't hesitate to remove her clothes one by one. She stood naked before Will, reaching out seductively to hook her arms around his neck, alluringly tempting him. She pressed her lips toward him, "Will, let me serve you tonight."

But Will blocked her approaching lips with his hand. He hooked her chin and smiled, "You're quite slutty indeed. I like it."

"Then Will..."

Will's voice cut over hers as he called out, "Come in."

Several men suddenly entered from outside.

Mia was still completely naked. Will had actually called other men in. Mia quickly grabbed her clothes to cover herself, frowning at him, "What are you doing?"

"Finding men to satisfy you." Will curved a mocking smile, coldly gesturing. The men behind him immediately came forward, one on each side, pressing her onto the bed.

Mia stared in disbelief, "What, what are you trying to do?"

Will stood up, smiling at her. That smile was like a demon's, his eyes full of excitement.

"Begin."

The men beside Mia instantly pressed down on her. Mia struggled and screamed desperately. She crawled up and over to Will, "Didn't you say you'd make me your woman..."

"I'll give you status, but what makes someone like you worthy of my touch?" Will shoved Mia away, his eyes full of nothing but disdain and mockery.

Mia was dragged back to the bed by those burly men.

Without any foreplay, she was raped.

Endless humiliation consumed her entirely.

And Will, standing before her, wore a cold, ruthless smile, watching her misery.

Mia clenched her teeth hard. As her body was handled at will, she blamed all the hatred in her heart on Ava.

If she didn't kill Ava, she swore she wasn't human.

Ava woke up early. After leaving her room, she wanted to wake Finn and Cleo, but found the study door half-open. Through the gap, she saw Joshua busy working inside. He was still wearing last night's clothes—clearly he hadn't rested all night.

Ava frowned and knocked on the door.

Joshua, disturbed, emanated a cold aura. But when he looked up and saw Ava at the door, the coldness in his eyes instantly vanished, "Come in."

"You didn't sleep all night?" Ava walked to his side.

Joshua pulled Ava onto his lap, his hand hooking around her slender waist, "Yes, I had some things to handle and it got late."

Ava saw the bloodshot in Joshua's eyes and felt a pang of heartache. She raised her hand to gently rub his head, saying seriously, "You can't do this. Don't you know staying up late is bad for your health?"

Joshua held Ava tighter in his arms. Her faint, cool fragrance drifted into his nose. Joshua curved his lips in a smile, "I know."

"You know and still do this. Look how stubborn you are." Ava was a bit annoyed, "Are you done now?"

"Done."

"Then go to sleep." Ava said firmly.

Joshua stared quietly at the woman's small face, his gaze growing increasingly intense. He leaned in to kiss Ava's soft lips.

Ava pushed him away, "I'm talking serious business with you. Don't kiss me. Go to sleep."

Joshua's low, mellow voice chuckled helplessly twice, "Okay, I'll listen to you."

Joshua easily lifted Ava as he stood up.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Keep me company while I sleep."

"No." Ava refused, "I still need to take Finn and Cleo to school."

"Leave it to Hayden." Joshua carried Ava into the bedroom.

"I still have to go to work." Ava desperately thought of reasons, but was placed directly on the bed by Joshua. He pulled up the covers and squeezed in.

"Just two hours, okay?" Joshua held the person in his arms tighter, as if only this way could he sleep peacefully.

Ava lay helplessly in his arms, "Just two hours. No backing out."

"Okay." Joshua had already closed his eyes.

Ava actually couldn't fall back asleep after waking up, but Joshua fell asleep quickly—he must have been really tired. Ava didn't have the heart to disturb him, so she obediently lay beside him.

Two hours later, Joshua woke right on time. Looking down, he saw Ava, who clearly couldn't sleep but still stayed obediently in his arms to keep him company.

Joshua's gaze was tender.

Ava seemed to sense his gaze and looked up, "You woke up so fast?"

"Yes, I slept well."

"You slept well in just two hours?"

"Then we can sleep a bit more." Joshua smiled and leaned down.

Ava raised her hand to block his kiss. His warm lips landed on her palm, sending tingles spreading through her. Ava quickly withdrew her hand, shaking her head, "No, if you want to keep sleeping, you sleep. I really need to go to work."

Ava propped herself up on the bed. Seeing how anxious the woman was, Joshua didn't make things difficult for her.

Ava changed into her clothes, and Joshua also changed into a suit. They both emerged from their respective rooms at the same time.

Ava wore a white casual suit today, her hair tied in a low ponytail. Her delicate face wore no makeup, yet was still breathtakingly beautiful.

Joshua wore a black custom-tailored suit, his figure tall and straight, exuding an undeniable air of nobility.

One in white, one in black. Joshua held Ava's hand as they went downstairs. The servants nearby all thought these two looked perfect together no matter how you looked at them.

"Finn and Cleo were sent to school, right?"

"Hayden took them, but I heard Finn and Cleo were somewhat resistant to going to school." Joshua said as he led Ava downstairs.

"Resistant to school?"

Ava frowned, "How could that be? Before, what Finn and Cleo loved most was going to school."

Finn and Cleo loved being around people and making friends. How could they be resistant to school?

"It might be because of Cleo's psychological issues."

Ava furrowed her brow tightly, "I'll ask the teacher when I pick them up this afternoon to see if something happened."

"Okay."

"Joshua." Thea's gaze paused, "Ava, you're here too?"
