40. Take my hand pt.2

Julian could feel the way that her delicate hand squeezed around his just a little bit tighter as soon as they entered his tattoo parlour. Finding themselves in the presence of three of his employees and friends. Taz, Bugsy and Lexi. He had no idea where Max was right now but it didn't matter anyway. They were supposed to be closing soon.

Taz was busy sitting in a chair, doodling on a sketch while Bugsy played on his phone. Both suddenly raising their gazes to throw Lydia a curious and equally perplexed look. He already knew why. They'd never seen a girl like her in a place like this before. Much less attached to their boss' arm like she was right now. He'd never dated before. He only fucked. And certainly not girls like her. Never like her. Sweet and innocent. And pure like she was.

However, it still made him want to hide her away and bare his teeth at them, like some wild animal. He didn't like people staring at his girl like that. Friends or not. She was his. His and only his.

He watched his friend Lexi raise her gaze from her laptop as well, a visibly stunned expression marring her features as soon as she noticed Lydia standing there right next to him. Her large blue eyes trailing over the entirety of her.

"Hey...boss," she absently said. Blinking a few times as she noticed the way that he was holding her hand.

"What's with the Barbie doll? Is she lost or something?" She let out a mild chuckle. The other two idiots following her lead. He felt Lydia stiffen from right next to him. He didn't like it. It made him want to knock their teeth in, for making his girl feel so uncomfortable like that. He knew that this was going to happen. That they were going to be stunned at first. Disbelieving. Which was exactly why he'd decided to do this. Ease them in. Show them exactly who she was to him. The quicker they knew, the better.

So he wrapped a possessive arm around her waist, making the girl yelp as he pulled her closer to him. His features set into a dangerous scowl as he looked at Lexi.

"Her name is Lydia,"

"And she's my girl," he threw each of them a pointed look before leaning over to kiss her jaw. His hand lowering to give her perky ass a firm squeeze.

His sexy enchantress immediately let out a little surprised squeal, making him smirk. Relatively satisfied with the outcome. His friends and employees were still staring at them with those shocked expressions marring their features, even as he pulled back and grabbed her hand again, intending to take her to his office.

"Sure...whatever you say, boss,"

He threw Lexi a wink on his way to the stairs leading to the upper level, that smirk still etched on his features. He made Lydia climb first as he didn't want anyone else possibly seeing what was hidden underneath that cute little dress. That was also his. All his to gaze upon. To ravage.

She briskly climbed the stairs and he followed, his gaze so shamelessly trained on those bare thighs. That tiny peek of her ass-cheeks, whenever she climbed another step. He licked his lips, so many sinful thoughts already forming inside his mind. Of her bending forwards on these very steps, thighs spread apart and panties down as he fucked her with his tongue. Devouring her like a thirsted man in the desert.

His throat bobbed as he thickly swallowed. Willing himself to calm down. He could already feel his cock twitching with want again. For the millionth time today. She'd been unknowingly torturing him like this for days now. Yearning to feel her again. To taste her, and have her.

He could remember so vividly, the way that she felt wrapped around him. Hugging him so fucking good. It felt amazing. Pure heaven. He wanted to remain stuck into her like that forever. Make her his home. His sanctuary.

She was made to be his. And he intended to show her just that. But with patience though. And gentleness. He'd already fucked up once. He didn't intend on repeating that same mistake twice.

"That was...awkward," she quietly uttered just as they'd reached the door leading to his office, her timid gaze meeting his.

"Oh Lexi? Ignore her, she's just jealous," he lightly shook his head with a small chuckle, about to open the door when he suddenly noticed that certain look in her eyes. That mild flush of her cheeks.

"Not like that. She's actually into girls," he rushed to explain, taking notice of that small breath of relief escaping her just as he'd pushed the door open, inviting her in at the same time.

It pleased him. The fact that she appeared to be bothered by the attention he was receiving from other girls. He'd noticed. That wrathful look in her eyes whenever another female tried to approach him or even looked at him twice. His sweet princess was actually jealous.

"Oh," that blush in her cheeks appeared to be more visible now, her doe lashes fluttering as she let her gaze fall to the ground.

He smirked, loving the way that she looked right then and there. So incredibly sweet and innocent. It made him want to kiss the living days out of her. Push her up against the nearest wall and make her gasp for an entirely different reason.

He forced himself to push away those naughty thoughts and they finally entered his working space, the male carefully pushing the door closed behind him as he watched her step further into it. Looking so pure and luminous into a sea of dark colours and gothic accents. So perfectly unfitting, with that pastel-coloured dress of hers and her unmarked skin. She looked like a ray of sunshine into a darkened corner. A flicker of light into a desolated space.

*So fucking beautiful*... He couldn't help but think, yearning nothing more than to just walk up to her and wrap his arms around her. Warm himself with that light of hers. Bask in her purity. Her sweetness.

Patience, he reminded himself, willing himself to remain exactly where he was. Watching as she took it all in. His dark furniture. Those posters and sketches haphazardly strewn all over the place. Those odd pieces of modern art he'd collected throughout the years.

"So what do you think? Do you like my space?"

He watched her turn to face him and timidly nod, the hint of a smile dancing on her luscious lips. It made his curl up in reply.

She then returned to her curious exploring and he ambled towards his desk, leaving the helmet there before moving to sit in his leathered chair. He had nothing else better to do at the moment and he already had everything he needed at hand. Might as well tend to his injured hand in the meantime. So he rolled to the cabinet at his side, taking everything he needed. Some disinfectant, scissors, sterile cotton and some bandages. He then returned to his desk and placed everything there before proceeding to cut open the gauze covering his wounds.

The girl immediately appeared by his side as if being summoned, making him pause and stare up at her.

"May I?"

He only nodded in reply, watching as she quickly grabbed a chair from nearby and that freestanding ring-light and then sat right next to him, coaxing him to turn to face her.

She then took his hand and placed it in her lap, flicking open the light and positioning it so that she could perfectly see what she was doing before she started to work.

She cut open his old bandage with ease and care, revealing those deep and nasty cuts.

"Careful. You might dirty your dress," he warned but she only shrugged in reply, letting his hand rest on her knees as she grabbed some cotton and disinfectant from his desk.

"I saw that photoshoot of you, for that magazine called Ink-it," she said as she started to gently clean up the cuts. Her voice soft and casual. He smiled, loving the delicate feel of her dainty fingers on his skin. Tending to him with the utmost care.

"What can I say? I like art. In all its forms," he shrugged, watching as she slowly dabbed at his still raw wounds with a piece of cotton soaked in disinfectant. Evidently trying to keep the burning sensation at a minimal level.

Not that he would care about the pain that much now, seeing as he had actually hurt the skin and bones in his hands so many times before, becoming almost immune to it. Yet he still flexed his fingers a little, just to make her tenderly caress him. Bringing his hand closer to her lips so that she could softly blow some soothing air over the affected area.

He fought not to shudder with delight.

"Did you like it?" He asked, his voice just a tad bit rougher. His gaze intently settling on her face.

"It was nice," she quietly answered, her face becoming visibly redder. He smirked with pure masculine satisfaction. He could tell that she'd found those pictures of him to be more than just "nice". They were anything but.

"Gemma saw it too. Against her will, I might add," she said after a moment and his brows immediately furrowed with confusion, noticing that amused smile that threatened to form on her lips.

Gemma?

"Connie's maid?" That poor old lady who kept avoiding him like the plague the other night?

Lydia quickly nodded in reply, both bursting into a fit of laughter.

"You were brave to do that. I wouldn't feel so comfortable knowing that anybody could see me in such a compromising posture, at any given moment," she said after another few moments of childish laughter, earning his wicked smirk in reply.

"Well then you have nothing to worry about, sweetheart. Those photos I've taken of you are for my eyes only. I would never let anyone else gaze upon your body like that,"

Her gaze quickly rose to look up at him as if only now remembering all about those sexy photos of her he'd taken from his windows, her face red as a tomato.

"Don't worry, baby. I've kept them safely guarded under my pillow. To look at them whenever I miss you,"

She let out a small laugh at the sound of that before resuming to her tending to his wounds, that blush though still present in her cheeks. He decided right then and there that that was his most favorite sound in the world. Her sweet laughter. Well, that and those squeaky little mewls she made whenever she came.
