"Wow... you finally took action, even though previously you didn't seem to care about the problem."

"That's because she started showing her fangs, it made me unable to stay silent" Bella looked serious with her words, while Sarah smiled and looked forward to Bella's fight which she hadn't seen in a long time.

"Then when can I stay in your apartment?"

"I prefer your apartment, how about tomorrow? Can you?"

"Tomorrow? Yes...you can, but you can occupy it in the afternoon. So, in the morning I'll get my things first."

"You seem to be planning something, I'm curious. What's wrong?" Sarah asked as she put the key to her apartment into Bella's hands.

This morning, Bella deliberately arrived late. He wanted to show his power to Ricky, especially because of what Ricky had done to him yesterday by letting him go.

To enter his office, Bella had to pass through Ricky's room. He casually entered and walked in front of Ricky as if he had done nothing wrong.

Ricky stood in front of his desk with his arms folded across his chest, looking at Bella who just walked past him.

"You were two and a half hours late on your first day," said Ricky, Bella immediately turned and looked at this man in her arrogant manner.

"I'm sorry Boss, but I couldn't sleep last night because I was thinking about a lot of things and I think Boss Ricky knows the reason."

"Oh yeah? What were you thinking about until you were late for work for more than two hours? Didn't I tell you yesterday that you had to come before nine o'clock? Now it's eleven o'clock."

"Really? I don't remember you saying that. If that's the case, I'm sorry, next time I won't do it again," said Bella as she walked towards her workspace which had been prepared.

Ricky sighed, he knew what Bella did was intentional to get back at him. But he didn't know that Bella would dare to come late like this.

"Knock...knock...knock..." a knock was heard on the door. As usual, Ricky's secretary, Lisa, will come into his room to ask for signatures on company documents.

"Enter !"

"Excuse me, sir. I want to submit a report letter and also several cooperation documents that Mr. Adnan Kusuma from PT Ardiata sent this morning," said Lisa as she approached her boss's work desk and handed over several important documents.

"Okay, thank you. Looks like we have a lot of work today. So I hope you keep your spirits up."

"Of course, sir. I really like my job. I will try my best to give my best. Then, I'll excuse myself!"

A few moments after Lisa left the room, Ricky gave Bella several documents that she had to work on. When she entered her study, Bella just sat in her chair while fixing the make-up on her face.

"Bella, I've sent several files to your computer. So, you can work on it now, I've also given you an example and this, please check the cooperation letter from PT Ardiata, when it's finished, give it to me!"

"Okay," Bella answered briefly, she was reluctant to even look at Ricky who was speaking seriously in front of her.

Ricky returned to his desk and started a work routine that was quite draining on his energy and thoughts. Two hours passed, but it seemed Bella had not finished checking the cooperation letter which should have been completed in less than 30 minutes.

There seemed to be no sign of Bella giving up her duties. Ricky started to get impatient and got up from his desk and approached the stubborn woman. When Ricky entered Bella's room, what he saw was that the woman was very relaxed while playing on her cell phone.

"Bella, have you finished the work I gave you?"

"What job? Did you really ask me to do something?"

"Two hours ago I asked you to check this cooperation letter, haven't you done it yet?"

"Oh...so you asked me to do it. Sorry, I forgot!" Bella looked at Ricky with a small smile. Even though he felt like he wanted to be angry with Bella, for some reason he couldn't do it. Just looking at his face made Ricky melt.

"Okay, it's up to you. Let me do the work. You just sit there and don't have to do anything!" Ricky took back the documents on Bella's desk which he had not touched at all.

Seeing Ricky get angry and just walk away made Bella feel very satisfied because her annoyance yesterday was avenged.

However, it backfired on Bella. Ricky, who was angry, tried to hold it in by not caring about Bella at all. Like at lunch, Ricky went out alone without asking her and Ricky didn't even say anything since his feet left Bella's study.

It was already 6.00 in the afternoon, when most of the employees had gone home. Ricky is still working in his room. Bella, who was ready to go home, walked casually over to Ricky's work desk.

The man looked tired, he had even taken off his jacket and his tie was loose. Ricky is really working hard because the company he holds is a new company that was mandated to him. He didn't want his father and Mr. Hermawan to feel disappointed.

"Aren't you coming home?" Bella asked. Finally, Bella realized that Ricky really didn't care about her all day.

"You go home first, I still have a lot of work to do!" said Ricky with his eyes still focused on the laptop screen on his desk.

"Then, I'll wait for you!" Bella immediately sat on the sofa.

"You don't have to wait for me!"

"But I want to"

"Yes... it's up to you," Ricky leaned back, which felt stiff from sitting for hours.

"I'm sorry," said Bella. Ricky, who was surprised to hear that, immediately looked at Bella.

"Apologize for what?"

"Because I'm very selfish. Just because I wanted to repay you, I ended up giving you trouble. Even though I was the one who asked to help you manage this company."

"Actually, what is your reason for working at this company?"

"Because I want to be close to you"
