Extraordinary Man
Tonight Randy came home a little late, you could even say it was almost early. Bella, who was already awake, immediately woke up when Randy entered the room.
"Are you home yet?" Bella woke up rubbing her eyes.
"Sorry, I woke you up, didn't I?"
"It's okay. It's almost five in the morning, what's the matter?" Bella looked at Randy who looked different than usual. There were no hugs or affectionate kisses that this man usually gave every time they met.
"It's nothing. Look, it looks like tomorrow I have to go to America"
"What? to America? why suddenly?"
"There's a little problem I need to solve there"
"What's the problem? How about I come too..."
"I can't, Bella. I can't take you with me."
"Trouble with women?"
"No !"
"So? Why not tell the truth?" Bella started to get emotional, Randy had never behaved like this during their time together.
Seeing that Bella was starting to get suspicious, Randy immediately approached her and hugged her tightly. "You believe me, right?" Randy looked deeply into Bella's eyes, trying to connect her feelings.
"I always believe in you"
"I have to go tomorrow, this is a problem about my friend that I can't tell now because I haven't gotten a direct explanation from him either."
"Your friend's problem? But why are you involved?"
"Because at that time, I was also there. So I was dragged in too."
"What's the problem with the police?"
"No, if the problem is resolved. I will contact you straight away, I promise it won't take long. Trust me, darling?" Randy gently touched Bella's cheek with both hands, trying to reassure his lover that everything would be okay.
Bella nodded slowly, even though she had a bad feeling. But her love for Randy was too great to make her believe that there was nothing to worry about.

"Are you satisfied, Grandma?" Bella stood in front of Grandma who was waiting for her at the door of the house.
Grandma smiled, looking at her beloved granddaughter who had finally come home after her tearful plea for Bella to come back and save her from "a bunch of parasitic humans" as she always said.
"Bella, Grandma's favorite granddaughter...where have you been these past five days? Every day Grandma cries thinking about you. Where do you live?"
"At a friend's house," he answered. In fact, Bella was still reluctant to go home and she felt more comfortable staying in her lover's apartment, even though Randy had left for America yesterday.
"Today we had dinner with Martin's family at our house. Grandma, listen, you've known your Papa's friend's eldest son for a long time?"
"Yeah, I see, why?"
"He must be an extraordinary person, right? Don't let Mira's daughters grab his attention. You have to be your father's biological daughter!" said Grandma as she continued to launch her insults at her beloved grandson. On Grandma's mind, don't let the heir of one of the richest people in the world fall into other people's hands. This is an opportunity that should not be wasted.
Bella didn't feel very excited. His thoughts were currently still focused on Randy, who had not yet contacted him, even though by now Randy should have arrived in San Francisco, his destination city.
Exactly at 7.00 pm, the Martin family arrived at the Taniadi family's residence. In the living room, Mr Hermawan and his wife, as well as their three daughters, Rina, Diana and Mona welcomed their important guests with friendly smiles.
"Wow... really handsome..." Mona was amazed to see the figure of the dashing young man who entered the house with his parents.
Diana was no less fascinated than her sister. From the start, Ricky's character has succeeded in stealing her attention and is known to be very difficult for men to conquer.
"Good evening? Thank you for inviting us," said Ricky politely to the three young women who didn't blink at his very beautiful face.
"We should be the ones thanking you for coming," the sentence that Diana should have said, was instead said by her younger sister who was bolder and more aggressive.
Meanwhile, Grandma is still waiting for Bella, who hasn't finished dressing yet. Grandma was worried, afraid that Mira's three daughters would take the opportunity when they both weren't there.
"Bella, come on. Why is it taking so long to get dressed?" urged Grandma, who was impatient.
"Why do you have to rush, Grandma? Just let them start eating dinner first!"
"Eh...eh...can't you do that? Grandma is the big lady in this house. So, they can't start the event without Grandma!"
"Okay, if that's the case, Grandma, let's go down first. Bella will come after me in a moment!"
"You're right, don't take too long?"
"Yes..." Grandma, who was impatient, finally decided to immediately meet the guests and monitor the situation. Afraid that the intruders would ruin his plans.
Bella stood in front of the mirror, looking at an appearance that for her was too simple. Bella opened her wardrobe and changed the dress she was wearing into a bolder dress.
"Hello, welcome...?" Grandma exclaimed very friendly when she met Mr. Erick Martin and his wife, Mrs. Herliana.
"Hello Aunt Cornelia, how are you? Auntie is getting prettier, isn't she?" said Mr. Martin, who is very skilled at giving compliments.
"Ah, bro? It's been a long time since I saw you, huh?"
"Auntie is getting younger, isn't she?" said Mrs Herliana.
"You are getting prettier too. Where is your son who just returned from America?"
"Oh...that's him, chatting with Auntie's grandchildren!" Mrs. Herliana answered while pointing at Ricky who was chatting with Rina, Diana and Mona.
"I thought they were playing tricky. What's Bella doing? It's taking so long to come down!" Grandma's mind started to get hot seeing the situation that went beyond her plan.
