CHARLOTTE'S POV:-

I pulled away from Benjamin after a while and tried to get up but as I turned, he pulled me back in his arms, caging me in his arms. Gulping hard, I felt myself melting in his arms yet again. “And where do you think you are going, Tinkerbell?” He asked me, his tone now was laced with tease and seduction that made my breath hitch.

“Ben! Let go of me. We are in the hospital.” I tried to yell at him but I couldn't. Yes, we were at the hospital and he was actually holding me in his arms. But that's not why half of my voice was stuck into my throat. He had buried his face in the crock of my neck and I could feel a bulge in his pants, poking me from behind.

“Let people see how much I love you. Let them see that you belong to me.” As always, his words were laced with the possession. I closed my eyes and licked my chapped lips. Memories from the past were flashing like true dreams. I didn't want them to stop. I wanted to remember all those memories that we made together.

After it was done, Benjamin's doctor came and checked him up. Nurses had already detached the IV from his hand. “You are good to go, Mr Leblanc. I will see you in two weeks. Take care of yourself and please, go easy.” The doctor said as he discharged Benjamin.

As Benjamin saw me frowning, he winked at me and my cheeks heated up instantly. Benjamin stood up and instantly intertwined his fingers with mine. Holding my hand tightly, he pulled me outside of the hospital. His car was ready and waiting for us to come out.

“Are you ready to go back home?” Benjamin asked me. It was a simple question but I knew the hidden meaning. I took a deep breath. Although I was dying to hold my son in my arms again, my heart was terrified of seeing questions in his eyes.

“Your son worships you, Charlotte. He knows you better than I can ever know. Give him a chance. You know it better than me that you will not be disappointed.” Benjamin spoke those words while gently squeezing my hand. I looked at his face and he instantly nodded his head.

I took a deep breath to calm my wrecking nerves. I met Benjamin's gaze again as I opened my eyes, and I nodded my head. His eyes lit up as he received the permission. “Let's go home.” He whispered softly as he wrapped one of his arms around my shoulders and pulled me to his chest.

The driver started the car and zoomed away. After an hour-long drive, the driver stopped the car in front of the villa. Benjamin stepped out of the car and since I was nervous, he offered me his hand. Biting my lower lip, I placed my hand on Benjamin's hand and he pulled me out of the car.

Benjamin pulled me into the villa. It was quiet and empty. My heart was pounding against my rib cage. “He must be inside of his room. If you want, I can come with you.” Benjamin informed me and I turned my head to look at the door of his bedroom.

“I would love that.” I whimpered, trying my best not to start crying again. Benjamin didn't ask me any questions. He didn't mock me, he didn't even utter a single word. He gave my hand a gentle squeeze as he pulled me toward the staircase. He pulled me upstairs, I walked with him while staring at the back of his head.

Benjamin lightly knocked on Charlie's bedroom door. “Come in! The door is open.” My heart skipped a few beats as I heard my son's voice from inside the room.

Benjamin opened the door and we stepped inside. “Mama, dad! What's wrong?” Charlie asked in a concerned tone as he saw us both together. The fear in his eyes that I saw, almost broke me. The day my baby was born, I promised him not to make him go through all those fears and pains that I went through when I was a kid. Yet, I was the one who became the reason why he had those fears in his eyes.

“No need to worry about us, son. Your mother has a very big heart. She can sacrifice anything for your sake.” Benjamin spoke when he saw me hesitating with my words.

Charlie was more confused than before. He was staring back and forth between both of us while trying to figure out what Ben had just told him. “You know your mother better than I do, Charlie. You know exactly what she might have said to me.” Benjamin added in a low tone. I saw hope twinkling in Charlie's eyes as he turned his gaze toward me.

I forced a small smile on my face and nodded my head just to answer that tiny question that I saw in his eyes. Tears welled up in his eyes as he fell on the floor, crying happy tears. I pulled my hand from Benjamin's grasp and I was beside Charlie. He turned and hugged me tightly. He threw himself in my arms.

“I am so sorry, mama. I know I have hurt you. I just wanted you to be happy. I will never hurt you like this again. I promise.”

Charlie whispered softly in my ear while he was crying crazily. His words brought me back to reality. I also wrapped my arms around him and hugged him back.

Two long and strong arms wrapped around both me and Charlie. I bit my lower lip to block the moan that was ready to come out when Benjamin placed a soft kiss on my cheek. “I will fix everything. I will make amends. I swear, I will make sure to keep you both safe and with me.” Benjamin whispered softly in our ears. His words made Charlie chuckle softly. I pulled away from that hug as I wanted to see that long lost smile on my son's face. It was almost unbelievable that I became the reason why he had tears in his eyes.

“I am so sorry, my baby. I made you worry. I made you cry. I was afraid of seeing the similar doubts in your eyes that broke the relationship between your father and I.” I finally apologized to Charlie for my mistake. My heart still feared to hear Charlie doubting me. But it also yearned to hold my baby against my chest again. The yearning was way too powerful, it gave me strength to overcome my fears for tone being.

Charlie cupped my face with both of his hands. The smile on his face reminded me of myself. I was once a pound and confident teenager like Charlie. “Mama! I know you. I don't need to ask you anything. Because you never hide anything from me. Well, except for my father.” I chuckled as I heard him. He was not like all the other kids from his age. Maybe that's why I knew he would forgive me. He might have the exact same face as his father but he was born with pride and confidence like I had.

I thought I lost it all the day Benjamin didn't believe me and threw me out on the road. It took me almost fourteen years to finally realize that all that pride and confidence was never lost. My baby took it all from me. “Umm! If you guys can leave me alone today, I have to prepare for a test that's due tomorrow.” Charlie whispered nervously. Benjamin and I pulled away from him. We instantly started laughing at our son. It actually felt like I was finally at peace.

At night, I was making the bed when Benjamin stepped out of the bathroom. My heart nearly stopped as I watched him in nothing but a towel that was wrapped around his waist. He was towel drying his hair so I knew he couldn't see me. Droplets of water were glistening on his skin, awakening an unknown yet an old itch inside of me again.

My eyes were set on the biggest droplet that was slowly making its way down to his chest. I watched how that small droplet made a half circle around Benjamin's nipple. Then it made its way to his abs. One after another, it made its way from the middle. Then that droplet jumped into his belly button. The water that was gathered in his belly button was making me thirsty. I licked my parched lips to wet them a little.

The droplet of water then made it out of the pool in his belly button. But then it disappeared near the v-line below his waist. It was practically the first time I had my eyes glued to his v-line. Maybe that's why I was feeling hot all over. I was breathing heavily as all kinds of dirty thoughts invaded my mind. My mind was showing me dirty images of us together, rolling on the bed, naked while holding each other.

“If you keep staring at it, I can't guarantee that nothing will happen between us tonight.” Benjamin's voice pulled me out of the erotic world that I was floating in. My gaze met his and my cheeks burned. He had caught me red handed. I was practically licking every inch of his body with my dirty gaze. I turned my gaze instantly away and turned so he wouldn't be able to see me blushing. But it was already too late. He saw and felt everything that I did or felt.

Chuckling, he walked forward. My heart was pounding against my rib cage as I felt him walking toward me. He stopped right behind me and leaned over. He placed both of his hands on the mattress, caging me between his long arms and tall figure. I turned only to sit on the edge of the bed. His face was way too close to mine and I tasted his minty breaths inside my mouth.

The way he was gazing inside my eyes, It felt like he was staring at my soul through my eyes. “I thought you said it was okay if we watched each other naked. After all, we are married, aren't we?” He repeated the words I had said to him years ago when he caught me staring at his bareback.

I didn't say anything. I just turned my head to the side. But he was definitely not done teasing me. He pushed me on the bed and crawled on top of me. “Ben! Please, not now. I need time.” I whimpered as I placed both of my palms on his chest. I didn't push him away because my heart yearned for the man I had fallen in love with.

I used to disagree with the term that said that a person can only hate someone whom they had loved with the depths of their hearts. I thought it was ridiculous. But then I went through all of it. I fell in love with the Arrogant Billionaire. Then he Ruined Me and I hated him with the depths of my heart too.

Years later, I found out that it was our fates that had fucked up everything between us. The suffering, the loneliness and the hatred, all of that was just because my fate wanted to play games. Benjamin growled in annoyance as he heard me. He pulled away and laid down on the bed. He covered his naked body with the comforter then he pulled the towel out and threw it on my face.

My face heated up as I sensed his cologne on his towel. “What are you waiting for? Do you want me to invite you? Get rid of the clothes and get in. I want to hold you in my arms.” Benjamin spoke in a low tone. I blew a shaky breath. Although the idea was very tempting, I wanted to keep a little distance for a while. Shaking my head, I hung his towel on a hanger then crawled into the bed. Benjamin didn't say anything. He covered my body with the comforter and wrapped his arms around me.

“This is the best life. This is heaven. It all only exists in your arms.” My cheeks heated up as I heard him whisper in my ear. His words actually came straight from the depths of his heart.
