THIRD PERSON'S POV:-

In the morning, Charlotte woke up and her heart skipped a few beats. She found her arms wrapped around the man she thought she hated the most. Her legs were tangled up with his. His arms were wrapped around her, keeping her secured on top of his chest as if he was afraid to let go of her. She pushed herself up and went to take a bath. No matter how hard she scrubbed her skin, she couldn't get rid of his scent that lingered on her body.

She felt betrayed when her own heart refused to listen to her. She felt broken when her heart wanted to be with the man she was supposed to hate. She was still soaking in the warm water when Benjamin stepped into the bathroom and walked toward the shower cubicle.

Charlotte's heart started drumming erratically inside her chest as Benjamin stripped the only piece of clothing he had on. His back was facing him, he couldn't see her drooling over his naked body. Benjamin suddenly turned his face and Charlotte was caught red handed. She turned around completely. Now her back was facing his back. Benjamin found the war she had within her so cute, he ended up shaking his head while smiling.

After bathing, they both stepped out of the bathroom together. Anyone who might see them like that, would think that they sought everything out. And that they were a perfect and romantic couple who couldn't even bathe apart. But that was far from the truth of their lives.

As Benjamin got ready, he looked at Charlotte. "Be ready tonight, Tinkerbell. You and I are going to have some fun tonight." Benjamin whispered seductively in her ear while touching her perfectly round ass. Part of her wanted to moan at his touches but she was no longer that teen who was crazy about her husband. The crazy teen who was trying to build a relationship with her man.

Charlotte turned around and was about to slap Benjamin when he grabbed her wrist. "Your God will be angry if you try to hit me, Tinkerbell." Benjamin taunted her, smirking at her. That angered her more because she never really liked that name to begin with.

Without thinking, Jessica punched Benjamin as hard as she could in the center of his chest. "Get the hell away from me, you pervert. Just because you made me sign some papers, doesn't mean you can actually have that relationship back with me." Charlotte yelled at him angrily, ignoring him groaning due to her punch. In a minute, clutching onto his stomach, Benjamin fell down on the ground.

"Ben! What's wrong? I know I didn't punch you that hard!" The anger she had in her for him vanished the moment she saw Benjamin's face contouring with pain. She sat down on the ground and pulled Benjamin's head on her lap. She saw a droplet of blood at the corner of Benjamin's lips, that's when she started to panic.

"Help! Someone please help! Benjamin needs help!" Charlotte started screaming for help, she was even banging the door but no one responded. She searched for Benjamin's phone. Although she could have dialled for someone who could have come to help her out of the cage she was trapped in, she was more concerned about the man crying in pain in her arms. She immediately dialled Joe's number, knowing only he would be the one to respond to her and believe her as well.

"Mr Leblanc!" Joe spoke as soon as he picked up the call.

"Joe! It's Benjamin. He has fainted. Please open this fucking door and get him out of here. He needs medical attention. And the fucking guards aren't responding." The way Charlotte was screaming on the phone, Joe knew that it was truly an emergency.

The door was unlocked and Joe carried Benjamin out of the room. Charlie followed Joe behind. When Charlotte tried to go after them, the guards who were left behind, locked her inside the room again. "No! Let me out! I need to go with him!" Her cries were unheard. No one around cared.

When no one was around, and Benjamin was lying unconscious in the hospital, Ruby went to the apartment where Benjamin was keeping Charlotte. He didn't tell his mother anything but she had bought a bunch of his men to report back to him. And also, there was Emily who was ready to slaughter anyone to get Benjamin back in her life.

"Where is she?" Ruby asked in a low tone.

"Inside the room, Mrs Leblanc. She's locked inside." One of her loyal guards replied.

"Is there a way to get rid of her?" She asked and the guard shivered in fear.

"Mrs Leblanc, Mr Leblanc will skin me alive if I let her go or did something to her." The guard replied in a fearful voice.

Ruby thought about the whole situation for a moment. Then she extended her hand. "I am assuming you have the key?" Ruby asked in a low tone and the guard nodded his head. He pushed his hand in his pocket and pulled the key out of the room where Charlotte was locked.

Ruby took the key and threw it out of the balcony. "No key, no one can enter the room. Let her starve to death. By the time Ben wakes up, she will be dead." Ruby spoke as she saw the questioning look on the guard's face.

"And what if Mr Leblanc woke up and someone told him about everything?" The guard asked as he was fearing for his life. Everyone guarding the place was well aware of the fact that Benjamin was crazy about that woman. Crazy enough to go against the laws to get her back. And the guard feared for his life if he knew who caused Charlotte's death.

"I will take care of everything at the hospital. I will not even let Joe get anywhere near Ben. You make sure to disappear any of the keys that you can find. She can't come out alive." Ruby heartlessly ordered the guard. Without waiting for his response, she turned around and left.

Two days passed. Benjamin woke up thirty six hours later but taking advantage of Benjamin's condition, Ruby didn't let anyone near Benjamin. Not even Joe. The third day had started. Benjamin was diagnosed. Doctors were starting his treatment. Charlie made his way to the room where Benjamin was when the hospital security held him.

"Get the fuck away from me. I need to see my father. Unhand me, you assholes." As Benjamin heard Charlie screaming desperately, he tried to stand up.

"Lie back down, Benjamin. You need rest. Stop worrying about everyone." Ruby coldly spoke, making Benjamin grit his teeth in anger.

"That anyone is my own flesh and blood." Benjamin growled at Ruby angrily as he stood up and stepped out of the room. He was furious as he saw the hospital security dragging his son out of the hospital.

Benjamin walked toward them and freed his son. "Get the fuck away from my son. How dare you touch him? Who the fuck gave you orders to touch my son like this?" Benjamin was growling at the security, as he pulled his son to his chest.

Charlie had a bruise forming on his cheek and his lips were red, covered in his blood. "Are you alright?" Benjamin asked his son, wiping Charlie's lips.

"Forget about me, dad. You forgot that you have ordered not to open mom's room for anyone. It's been almost three days. She hasn't eaten anything. She doesn't even have water for herself. She hasn't responded to me since morning. And the guards aren't opening the door." Charlie informed Benjamin of the situation that happened while Benjamin was in the hospital.

Benjamin turned his head to Joe who had his head narrowed. "Why didn't you tell me all that? Why didn't you take care of her while I couldn't? I entrusted her with you, Joe." Benjamin scolded Joe angrily as he went back to his room to get his clothes.

"The keys are lost, all of them, Mr Leblanc. I came to inform you about the situation. But your mother didn't let us near you. Even Charlie was beaten twice by the hospital security." A loyal servant Joe actually was, he told Benjamin everything that happened while Benjamin was unconscious.

Benjamin stepped out of the bathroom, glaring at his mother. "You dared make them beat my son?" Benjamin growled at his mother. Ruby knew that her plan would fail if she let Benjamin go after Charlotte just yet.

Ruby stood up and grabbed Benjamin's arm. "Your son is more important to you than your mother?" She tried to play the emotional card, knowing well how much Benjamin loved and respected her. After all, she was the reason he divorced Charlotte in the first place. He decided to listen to her lies instead of listening to Charlotte's truth. Even though he knew that Charlotte never lied, his mother did.

Ruby was surprised the moment Benjamin grabbed her hand and forced her to let him go. "My son and my family are the most important to me now. You lost your place the day you decided to lie to me. And that too for your own benefits. I will find out your motives one way or another, mother. Don't push it." Benjamin's words were enough to scare Ruby to her death. She was too shocked to even argue with him.

Benjamin grabbed Charlie's hand and walked away. The hospital security and the doctors tried to stop him but he was like a tsunami, running toward his destiny. Benjamin entered the apartment like a storm, yelling at everyone who was in the apartment. And he was shocked when everyone told him that all the keys to that specific room were lost within two hours.

Benjamin looked for the key he kept in his study. But he couldn't find that as well. Surely, it was someone's doing. Benjamin walked toward the room and banged at the door a few times. "Charlotte! Can you hear me?" Benjamin called but he didn't even hear her groaning.

Benjamin turned to Joe, the concerned look was visible on his face. "We need to break this fucking door right now. We can't wait." Benjamin growled and Joe nodded his head.

Along with Joe, Benjamin kicked the door a few times until the lock broke and the door swung open. Benjamin's heart dropped in the pit of his stomach as he found Charlotte lying lifelessly on the ground. Her skin was pale, her lips were chapped and she was not breathing.
