Chapter 948 Chapter 948
A moment later, a tangy taste was in her mouth. She released him and pulled away from him. It was blood. She looked at his neck to see the red running over his skin. She leaned closer and looked. The bite couldn’t be from her teeth, they weren’t… Her eyes felt like they were going to pop out of her head. She grabbed his face. “I bit you. I marked you.” She shoved her fingers into her mouth. Her teeth felt normal. Pulling them out, she looked at him. “How?”
Rising onto his elbows, he searched her face. “Your animal is close. I can smell her.” His voice was deep and barely a whisper. “Rhogue, did you want to mark me?”
She blinked, having trouble thinking beyond he way he sounded. She turned his head and looked at the wound she’d left on his skin. “Yes.”
He growled and moved. In a second, she was beneath him. The weight of his body didn’t make her panic. In fact, it made her want more. She turned her head and looked at him. “Mark me.” She held her breath.
Webb leaned down and kissed where the scar was on her throat. “I will.” He began kissing her neck, and she felt dizzy. His hands were no longer lightly resting against her; they were molding her flesh and lifting her closer to him.
His mouth traveled from her neck to her chest. She could feel the sharpness of his teeth against her skin with each movement of his mouth, and it only excited her more. He lapped at her nipple and then gently sucked it into his mouth and made a sound that was either a growl or moan, she wasn’t sure.
By the time his lips reached her waist, she wanted to grab his head and pull that face back to hers. He licked over each hip as he worked her pants from her body, and it sent so many feelings through her she couldn’t focus.
When his mouth touched between her legs, she held her breath. She’d always thought that sort of thing was too personal and would be uncomfortable with it. That thought was erased as his mouth and tongue moved over her. He put his arms under her legs and lifted her like she weighed nothing.
When she heard sounds coming from her mouth, she put her arm over it because they were in a building with many others outside the thin walls.
He released her legs and moved up her body. She was finally able to reach his face. Grabbing it, she kissed him. Her flavor mixed with his didn’t even make her pause. She needed more; that was all she knew.
Webb lifted one of her knees and wedged himself between her legs. She sucked in a breath as he entered her and thought he was too big for her, and she was too full. When he slipped his hand underneath her and lifted her hips, it aligned their bodies, and she understood that he was truly made for her.
His movement was slow at first, allowing her to adjust to it, but each gentle thrust only drove her desire for him to move harder and faster. She pushed her face into his neck, and the scent of blood filled her senses. Blood from her bite.
When she licked over it, he growled and thrust harder. She knew she was smiling like an idiot, but didn’t care. Latching onto the bite with her lips, she sucked on it and Webb began to move faster and harder.
She released his neck and held on because her body was taking over, and thought was impossible. When his breath was against her neck, she turned her head, giving him access. She felt the sharp teeth pierce her skin and had just enough time to push the pillow against her mouth before she reached a powerful orgasm. It rocked every muscle in her body. Webb stiffened and his body shook with hers, but he didn’t release her neck.
She was struggling to breathe and then turned her head away from the pillow. She’d been suffocating herself. With air intake easier, she closed her eyes and lay there.
He lay on her still, his head resting beside hers. His breathing was as rough as her own.
“Need a minute.” He gasped.
“Mmm.” It was the only sound she could make. Licking her lips, she paused and then touched her mouth. There were strings or threads stuck to her lips. Opening her eyes, she looked at the pillow that she’d ripped. “Killed your pillow.” She whispered.
He lifted his head and looked at it. “Good thing I know the guy who runs the warehouse.” HE grinned at her. Kissing her mouth softly, he rested his forehead on hers. “Thank you for choosing me.”
She smiled. “I don’t think I had a choice.”
He growled softly. “There’s always a choice, Rhogue. Always.
