Chapter 27: Siblings

"Are you really sure? No doubts?"

"Gusto mo bawiin ko?" Umiling siya sa'kin at niyakap ulit ako.

"Thank you so much Naomi and I'm really sorry about your neck" hinawakan niya ang leeg ko na may mga bakat ng daliri niya.

"Hands off!" Naghiwalay kami ni Kuya Blaire ng magsalita si Bairon. Tumingin ako sa kanya pero bumaling ang atensyon ko kay Jayka.

"You!" Dinuro ko siya at lumapit naman siya sa'kin. "You lied to me saying his a British" niyakap niya ako at ganon din ako sa kanya.

"Sorry? Bairon warned me not to tell who he is" umawang naman ang bibig ko sa sinabi niya. "So you mean? Matagal na kayong mag asawa ni Kuya Blaire tapos .... Tapos kunwareng single ka ?" Tumango tango siya sa'kin. Napanguso naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"So does this mean everything was fine?" Bairon ask na ikinatigil namin sa kamustahan. Lumapit ako sa kanya at hinawakan siya sa kamay.

"I don't wanna harbor pain and anger Bairon... I carried it all for 5 years and it ruined me" he sarcastically laugh at me at binitawan ang mga kamay ko "I-I just can't l-let go like t-that. I j-just can't forgive him... Nawalan ako.. nawalan tayo.." tinalikuran niya ako at pumasok siya sa loob ng walang pinapansin.

"Bairon!" Hinabol siya ni Kuya Blaire pero pinigilan ko siya at ako ang sumunod kay Bairon. "Kakausapin ko lang po siya" paalam ko sa kanila at umakyat sa hagdan papunta sa kwarto.

The door was open so I went inside. Ni-lock ko ang pinto at pumunta sa gilid ng kama. Nakaupo siya sa sahig habang hinihilot ang sintido niya.

Lumuhod ako sa harap niya at niyakap siya. "I was hurt too.. nasasaktan din ako but how long shall we live in pain because of our lost?" Isinubsob niya ang mukha niya sa dibdib ko.

"Can we just set ourselves free? Let's start again Bairon.. let's start without heartbreaks and pain. I forgive him kasi he did it with a valid reason. One life is okay to sacrifice than a whole clan Bairon" hinawakan niya ng mahigpit ang braso ko.

"But he can save you if he really wanted too"

"A desperate person will think desperately. He's not selfish dahil iniligtas niya ang buong clan ng Solaire. He'll be selfish if he save me first than your clan. We're the one who got it wrong" i cupped his face at pinahid ang luhang dumaloy sa pisngi niya.

"I'm not blaming you for hiding me , I just wanted to say that we have our own reasons of doing something we desire even if it cost a sacrifice, wether it's right or wrong we will do everything to aim it. Just like how you did everything for me even you know what's the consequences of hiding me. Kuya Blaire also did the same thing as the heir of Solaire." Yumuko siya at muking inilingkis ang mga kamay niya sa beywang ko.

"We risk without thinking about consequences"

"But you suffered.. you suffered and our child was the sacrifice of saving my family." Hinalikan ko siya sa noo at sa tungki ng ilong niya.

"We can't change that it happened but stop looking in the past, I'm trying to be a good wife, to be the real me Irish Valentine Carter-Solaire.. so please don't make these sorrow affects us. Let's begin again Bairon.." he hold my hand and kiss it.

"Let's go back to where we started out. No pain, no heartbreaks.. the happy you and me.. whatever happens ikaw pa rin ang Healer na nakilala ko noon.. ang Healer na minahal ko. Ang Healer na pinakasalan ko sa papel.. I want to go back to where we started out but this time.. it's the real me and you" inalalayan niya akong umupo sa kama then he let out a deep sigh.

"I will forgive him but not right now.. give me time to think about it" I smile after hearing him.

"I won't force you but please act nicer to them.." he nodded to me at hinila niya ako pahiga. His hand wrap around my waist at iginiya niya ako pahiga sa dibdib niya.

"Still in vain lady.. but for you i will" tiningala ko siya at hinalikan sa labi. "You most know Kuya Blaire than me.. don't be so hard to him"'

"If that's my lady's want"

"Stop crying.. your just proving that you're a cry baby.. aasarin ka na naman ni Brantley." Umasim ang mukha niya sa sinabi ko.

"That man.. he has many pranks on his plates to make us laugh. A naughty brother" tumango tango ako sa sinabi niya. Brantley really unwinds the tense between everyone.

"Anyway are you ready?" He ask na ikinakunot noo ko. Umupo ako sa ibabaw niya at umawang naman ang bibig niya. "Oh sorry" umalis ako sa kandungan niya ng maramdaman ko ang tumutigas niyang kaibigan.

"Ready to meet your brother? Jackson will be surprise as hell.. like.. I just fall to my sister" he imitate how Jackson talk.

"Diba dapat ako ang magtatanong niyan sayo? Ready to meet your pinagselosan? Mukhang may not so good relationship kayo ni Jackson.. este Kuya.. so why?" Tumikhim siya at umiwas ng tingin sa'kin

"It's just a childhood stuff nothing serious" i raise my eyebrows not considering his invalid answers.

"We're rivals in any games. We're mortal enemy's in swimming. We always wanted the same toy since then so we always end up fighting. Who wins will have it but Dad end up buying another one because we don't fucking give up even days passed" nagulat ako sa sinabi niya at hindi makapaniwalang tinitigan siya.

"Oh my gosh! Seriously?"

"He's close with Baxley and Brantley" tumango tango naman ako sa sinabi niya. "But I won this time.. I got his beautiful sister without him knowing.. dahil kung alam niya ay seguradong kailangan kong lumusot sa butas ng karayom just to have you" napangiti naman ako sa sinabi.

"You will.." nakangisi kong sagot na ikinawala ng ngiti niya. "Your my wif-"

"As Naomi Deguzman.. not as Irish Valentine Carter" his smile fades after hearing me. "Don't joke like that lady.. I'll marry you again then" umiling ako sa kanya at tumayo na.

"Court me first then I'll think about marrying you.. now I know who I am, i want to live the real me with my real family" hinila niya ako at ikinulong sa mga braso niya.

"No one stops you lady.. but I won't let you go without impregnating you" I'm about to complain when he claim my lips and deepin his kisses.

I hug him when we stayed outside watching the sea. "They're here" bulong ni Bairon sa'kin habang nakatingala siya.

Tumingala rin ako sa langit at nakita ko ang isang private plane. Lumipad ito sa itaas namin hanggang sa dumeretso sa likod ng bundok. "Saan sila mag la-landing?" Sumunod ako sa kanya nang maglakad siya.

"We have a runway station at the back." He said to me na ikinagulat ko. I can't believe what he's telling me.

It's already 3 pm at the afternoon. When we decided to go downstairs. "Magugulat siya.." i whispered to him at tumawa naman siya sa sinabi ko.

"Who thoughts? Small world right? " Lihim akong napangiti sa sinabi niya. "Oh? Nandyan na pala sila.. ang mga Carter" salubong sa'min ni Baxley.

Pagkababa namin ay humarap na muna ako kay Bairon... "Kinakabahan talaga ako.. I don't know what to say? How to approach them?" He smirk to me at ginulo niya ang buhok ko.

"Let's practice? Think of me as your brother" ngumuso naman ako sa kanya. "It's different when you face the real them already." Hinawakan niya ako sa braso at mahinang hinila papunta sa living room.

"Just do an impromptu speech"

Nagtago ako sa likod ni Bairon, hinawakan niya ako sa kamay habang hila hila niya papunta sa may single sofa.

Umalis siya bigla sa harapan ko at pinaupo ako. It's good thing na tumabi siya sa'kin. "Are you excited to meet them?" Tanong ni Mommy Rhys sa'kin ng hawakan niya ang mga kamay ko.

"Y-yes po" I'm so nervous to think i don't know how to approach them. " Master, nandito na po sila" hearing that cue from Butler Keran mas bumilis ang tibok mg puso ko.

I felt my hand getting cold and my lips tremble. I heard some foosteps coming through to us. Napatingin ako sa pinto ng pumasok ng magkasunod ang dalawang lalaki.

They're matured and handsomely good looking. Kamukha ng lalaking nauuna ang Dad namin at kamukha naman ni Kuya Jackson si real mom. My heart just skip a beat ng makatitigan ko si Kuya Jackson. Medyo bumagal siya ng makita niya ako, the same with the first one.

"Good afternoon Uncle Barrett, Auntie Rhys" umawang ang bibig niya nang makitang kumpleto ang lahat ng Solaire.

"The trio was complete though" pabiro niyang dagdag at umupo sa bakanteng upuan.

"How's the flight going here?" Daddy Barrett ask while looking to them. "Well it's a bit lazy Uncle" Sagot ni Kuya Jackson na panay ang tingin sa'kin.

"Who is this woman? May asawa kana pala Bairon" pabirong sambit ng lalaking katabi ni Kuya Jackson.. nakalimutan ko talaga ang pangalan niya.

"Yeah.. meet your sister Jace.. Bairon's wife" Natigilan siya sa pagsimsim ng kape at napatitig sa'kin.

"Don't joke us like that Uncle.. I can see she's got my mom's look and neckl--"

"Lace" bumaba ang tingin niya sa kwintas na suot ko. "I-is this for real?" Tumayo siya at lumapit sa tapat ko. Abot langit ang kaba ko ng hawakan niya ang kwintas ko at nanlalaki ang mga mata niyang tumitig sa mukha ko.

"Irish?" Hindi ko napigilang maging emosyonal ng tawagin niya ako sa pangalang yon. Sinunggaban niya ako ng mahigpit na yakap na ikinabigla ko ng husto.

"Irish! It's really you! Oh my god. Irish!."

Napatayo ako at napayakap na rin sa kanya. "K-kuya" naiilang ako na naninibago. This is the feeling of having someone as blood related. Warm and safe.

"I can't believe you're my long lost sister" lumapit si Kuya Jackson at niyakap kaming dalawa. "Paano niyo po siya nahanap? I mean it's been 2 decades" hinawakan niya ako sa pisngi at tiningnan mabuti.

"Let's just say everything started on a misunderstanding" lumingon sila kay Daddy Barrett at ganon din ako.

"What do you mean Uncle?"

"Let's discuss it privately. Bairon , Blaire and you two come with me in my office. Stay here Irish" halos ayaw akong bitawan ng nakatatanda kong kapatid pero hinila siya ni Blaire.

"I'll talk to you later okay? I shall return" I wave my hand dahil lumilingon parin siya sa'kin. "Stay here with mom?" Paalala ni Bairon sa'kin bago siya umalis at sumunod sa kanila.

I can't stop myself from smiling while looking upon them. "Jace was only 6 and Jackson was 2 when your parents died" so it's Jace pala...

"That young Mommy Rhys?" Tumango siya sa'kin at umupo sa tabi ko. " Your grandfather took care of them... But he died after 2 years back then. So we adopt them and raise as one of our childrens too." That what happens..

"When Jace graduate, he decided to separate from us and build his own business. He didn't ask help from us, he did everything to support Jackson's studies."

"When Jackson graduated he became an art professor. He also manage the Carter's Family Business. The farm in Switzerland." They're successful one's at may sari-sariling buhay na rin.

Kuya Jace is 30 years old. Almost out of the calendar date but no ring on his finger. While Kuya Jackson is 26 years old and me I'm 25 years old. I got married first before them.

"I'm the youngest and the one who married first" medyo nahihiyang sagot ko kay Mommy Rhys.

"Hindi ka man naging successful sa pag aaral mo still no doubts because you married the Ceo business tycoon of Solaire group of companies" I didn't know na si Bairon pala ang CEO? I mean.. I thought it's Blaire.

"That's the fate between Love and Priorities. We focus on studies to have a better life and becomes successful. Tumatanda ka na pala still no lovelife"

"And if we balance love and studies. Temptation will chase us. Mahirap iwasan ang temptation kaya dapat kung bibigay ka seguraduhin mong mayaman at mabubuhay ka" natawa naman ako sa sinabi ni Mommy Rhys.

"That's too practical Mommy Rhys"

"Not that much"

"When I was young i also fell in love with a poor man. Yes we're happy, we have a simple life.. nag live-in kami at doon ko lang naranasan yung kahit pambili ng napkin mo wala ka. Money was the problem.. money will also ruin that happiness. Sa una lang naging masaya ang pagsasama namin."

"I saw how lazy he is.. He started to have his bad habits.. Yung hirap kana sa buhay tapos ginagastos niya yung perang pinagharapan mo sa pansarili niyang kaligayahan." Mommy Rhys sigh.

"I end up risking everything. Kumapit ako sa patalim. That's how I became his mistress at iniwan ko yung lalaking yun para kay Barrett. I was practical but time comes i fell for him, I learn to love him and not his money. At first hindi ko talaga alam na may asawa siya and when I found out na kabit niya ako. I left him.. iniwan ko siya."

"And you know your pregnant pala Mommy Rhys?" Tumango siya sa'kin at bumuntong hininga.

"Yes I was pregnant with the triplets. I really don't plan of coming back to his life it's just that Barrett's father found out about my sons. Having a son is important in Solaire's legacy, you have to bear one" tinapik tapik ni Mommy Rhys ang balikat ko.

So I need to bear a Son.
