Chapter 21: Solaire's El Dorado

Inalalayan niya akong bumaba sa hagdanan. Natigilan ako sa nakita kong tanawin.. It was an open face area na may mahabang pool. On the corner was a round sofa with a bonfire on the middle.

"W-wow" hindi ko mapigilang hindi ma-amaze at naglakad patungo roon. Binuhat niya ako at inupo sa sofa. Inikot ko ang paningin ko at halos lumuwa ang mata ko sa ganda ng view.

Ang modern mansion na kinalalagyan namin ay nasa gilid ng bundok. I think we're on the third floor? It was pure white with transparent glasswall and tinted ones.

May matataas na snake plants Sphere pots na nasa corner ng pader. Ang tubig sa pool ay blue na blue. Tumayo ako at sumilip sa baba.

It was really amazing to see na yung tubig sa pool nagiging water falls sa mas malaking pool sa baba. The view was hypnotizing. You can clearly see the beach na may mga small island sa paligid.

The surrounding was filled with tall trees too but there's a field not so far away from our spot.

"That's the half of the island" I face him at umupo sa tabi niya.

"I'll tour you tomorrow. I'll show you how beautiful was this island and i want you to met Knox " kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya.

"Knox?" I ask again. Tumango siya sa'kin at niyakap ako.

"Yeah but that's for tomorrow. He's just down there on the first floor"

"No need to prove it because I can totally say that this place is El Dorado. Solaire's El Dorado" tumingin siya sa'kin pagkatapos ay ginulo ang buhok ko.

"Mom told you?" Tumango ako sa kanya bilang sagot.

"Uhmm we will eat dinner in the dinning hall later..."

"With Dad" tumingala ulit ako sa kanya dahil sa pagbanggit niya sa pangalan ng Ama niya.

Am I ready? Magagawa ko bang harapin ang magulang niya? Everytime I think that his dad was the one who killed my parents parang gusto kong magalit ng husto.

Although his dad has his reasons , maybe if I was on his shoes I'll also do the same thing. Maybe it's my parents fault though.

I'm still confuse maybe if I hear him out I'll understand and accept the truth. No one's to blame but my dad, If he didn't betrayed Bairon's dad maybe everything was fine?

But...

Will I meet him again?

I lose my parents but I have a man who truly loves me.

If I have my parents, will I lose him for good?

There's only one person I must blame was him and no one. It's just Blaire Solaire my husband's identical brother.

"Does your dad hates me?" I ask him back. Napaisip siya sa sinabi ko pero umiling siya.

"Dad was the one who save you" natigilan ako sa sinabi niya.

"I jump off to the sea when the yacht explode. I was carrying you before but we got separated when I fall in the water. I stayed up until night while keeps on searching for you. Suddenly Dad's yacht came and took me in." He brush my hair at inihiga ang ulo ko sa dibdib niya.

"I'm about to pleased him to find you but unexpectedly you're conscious sleeping inside being dress as well by mom" I was shock to what he said. He chuckles to me while pinching my nose.

"Mom saw you floating then our men took you off in the water. It's just that Dad realize who you're, he immediately rush to save you because during that time you're hovering between life and death" Wala akong masabi sa paliwanag niya.

His Dad save me?

"I'm hell stupid though. I've been swimming in the opposite direction so instead of looking for you I end up swimming away from you. They took 40 minutes before they saw me." Natatawa akong pinaghahampas siya. Sinalo naman ng mga kamay niya ang mga kamao ko.

"You crazy! You're an assassin pero mukhang hindi ka marunong tumingin ng direksyon" he also laugh to himself na parang sira.

"Mom was really concern about you but when he found me, she really laugh so hard to my stupidity"

"Kahit seguro ako matatawa sayo! Really healer? Swimming on the opposite direction?"

"Maybe because I was really nervous and worried about you at the same time. I can't see anything but water and clouds" natawa talaga ako sa sinabi niya. Isiniksik ko na lang ang sarili ko sa leeg niya.

"Namatay na seguro ako if they didn't came then you'll blame yourself because you swim on the opposite direction"

"So the next time it happens I will bring a rope. Itatali kita sakin so we will survive or die just next to each other" napangiwi ako sa sinabi niya.

"Hoping we won't" inangat niya ang panga ko at hinalikan ako sa labi.

We deepin our kiss then his silly hand just roam inside my shirt. I moan when he squeeze my mounds.

"Pardon me.. I shouldn't cut it off" we both gaze to someone who speak. Nilamon ako ng kahihiyan ng makita ko ang isang magandang babae na may ngiting nakatingin sa'min.

"Uhm Mom ask me to call you guys but it seems like you're having a couple talks. Just go downstairs once you're done and by the way Hi! Ate Naomi!" She turn around and run like a child.

Nakakahiya yon. That woman saw us kissing, She heard me moan too?

"It was Bellamy, my youngest sister" umawang naman ang labi ko sa sinabi niya. Nakababata niyang kapatid?

"R-really?"

"Uhm kinda.. we're six siblings. They settle here than going out in a crowded city." Tumango tango naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"She's uhmm 19 years old. My other sibling was Brantley he's 21 and lastly Elora, half siblings. Dad's daughter from his ex-wife she's 28" Nakinig naman ako sa kanya. I wonder how it feels like having siblings.

"Well... Ako.. I'm an only child" ngumiwi naman siya sa sinabi ko. "I guess you're not" natigilan ako sa sinabi niya at kunot noong tumingin sa kanya.

Ngumiti siya sa'kin at ginulo ang buhok ko. ,"What do you mean about I'm not?" I confront him pero tumayo na siya at inilahad ang kamay niya sa'kin.

"Let's go? They're waiting for us" mukhang ayaw niyang sabihin sa'kin. Tumayo na rin ako at tinanggap ang kamay niya.

Habang pababa kami ng hagdanan mas bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. I'm so nervous to meet his family.

Kumapit ako ng husto sa kamay ni Bairon, he smirked to me before dragging me out in the living room. Malayo pa lang kami naririnig na namin ang family niya.

"Dad! Kuya Brant pinch my nose!" Nagmamartsang reklamo ni Bellamy at naglambing sa lalaking nakatalikod sa'min.

"Calm down sweetie it's not a big deal" his cold tone dad said in a baritone voice like Bairon. He tap Bellamy's head just like that warm. She's definitely a Daddy's girl.

"You kuya! I'll pay you back next time" reklamo nito sa lalaking tumatawa na kaharap sila. "God's sake Bellamy you're old enough so act like a woman okay?" Napatingin naman ako kay Bairon ng magsalita siya.

"She's still my little princess son, watch your words" I'd like to laugh to what his Dad said. He's really that scary.

I grab him back ng akmang lalapit siya sa sofa. Ngumiti lang siya sa'kin at pinagsiklop ang mga kamay namin. Kabang kaba ako especially when his mom came holding a tray of food.

"Oh! Naomi you're here!" I bite my lips at tumango sa mommy ni Bairon. This so intense.

Seryosong tumingin sa'kin ang kapatid ni Bairon na si Brantley. Kamukha niya ang mommy nila while Bellamy got her looks from both. Just fair beauty.

Kumapit ako ng husto ng tumayo ang Ama ni Bairon. He slowly face us at tumitig siya sa'kin. Bairon totally got his looks from him.

"Dad.. Naomi.. Naomi.. my dad" nabato ako sa kinatatayuan ko but I ended up bowing to the man who killed my parents.

"How are you?" He casually ask like nothing he did especially about my parents. "I-i'm fine po. T-thank you for saving me" he just nodded to me.

"Good to hear young woman. Angway, welcome to our family. You're my son's wife so call me Dad and her as your mom. We are your family now and I guess you do understand what happened in the past won't remark your life with us. You're a Solaire and you will remain as one of us Naomi"

I really don't know what kind of feeling is this but i was overwhelmed being welcomed. It feels like my anger faded that instant. "Thank you.. Dad" i just called him dad? What's happening on me? Dapat magalit ako, sigawan ko siya but why I cant?

"Hey! Stop threatening her" siniko siya ng mommy ni Bairon este mommy ko na rin pala.

"Sorry Wife can't help it. She looks adorable like Madeline" his Dad just smiled while softly talking to his wife.

"Sorry ate! Pamilya talaga kami ng mananakop" nagulat naman ako sa sinabi ni Bellamy.

"Goodness Bella! It's Mananakot not mananakop!" Natawa sila sa tinuran nito at ginulo ng Dad nila ang buhok niya. "I'm sorry? I wasn't good at speaking Tagalog" ngumuso ito at lumapit sa'kin.

"Anyway Ate Naomi.. I wanna show you my room" hinawakan naman ako ni Bairon.

"She won't. I will show Knox to her" napatingin ako sa mga kamay nilang nakalingkis sa mga braso ko.

"Bairon? Why don't you let your sister tour Naomi? Let them bond together?" Natigilan si Bairon sa kakahila sa'kin nang magsalita ang Dad nila.

"Yess! Come with me Ate, I'll show you the house" ngumiti naman ako sa kanya at natatawang lumingon kay Bairon na nakanguso.

"See that Dad? Kuya looks like a sea lion" natatawang sambit naman ng lalaki niyang kapatid na si Brixton. "Shut up brix!" Binato niya ng unan sa mukha si Brantley. Napapailing akong tumingin sa daan habang naglalakad kami ni Bellamy.

"Sorry ate, they're just like that. Kids "

"No it's okay. They look cute" ngumiwi siya sa sinabi ko at mukhang hindi niya nagustuhan ang sinabi ko.

"They're not" natatawa niyang sagot sa'kin. Pagkaliko namin ay bumungad naman ang mahabang pasilyo.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" Tumingin lang ako sa paligid habang naglalakad kami. Mahilig sa engrave woods ang parents nila.

"Kuya Bairon said you love books" umawang naman ang bibig ko sa sinabi niya. "When did he told you ?" Namamanghang tanong ko na ikinangiti niya.

"Well it was a long time ago. He stayed here 4 years ago. When he prefers to be alone I always went to see him then he talks a lot about you"

Seguro nasaktan siya sa mga panahong dinaya kami ng tadhana. Poor Bairon. How I wish to return things back like before.

"Ano pa ang mga sinabi niya?"

"You're smart, kind and very beautiful. You're studying to be a doctor" tumango naman ako sa mga sinabi niya.

"Sadly I didn't finish my studies"

"That's okay Ate. You can just bear a child for Dad and Mom. Although we have a niece from Kuya Blaire, why don't you bear a boy?"

A boy?

Sumagi naman sa isipan ko ang batang lalaki sa panaginip ko. I really don't understand what my dreams meant to tell me.

"We're planning" she smile widely to me. Those smiles is up to something.

"Oh sorry ate I interrupt your kissing earlier. So it means hindi ka mabubuntis?" Kunot noong tumingin ako sa kanya.

"No it's not like that. It's more than kissing" paliwanag ko sa kanya na ikinanganga niya.

"Seriously? Hindi ba yung magkikiss kayo them boom you're pregnant?" Umiling naman ako sa kanya.

"Definitely not" i was on her age when we actually did it. I was on her age when I had a miscarriage.

"Dad says I'm too young for adult matters. I never had a suitor who doesn't run away or die. Dad was scary when it comes to men" pagkukwento niya sa'kin hanggang sa makarating kami sa Library nila.

"Just get anything you want." My mouth rift in shock dahil sa sobrang lawak ng library nila. There's a big chandelier on the middle wit a mini sofa then 4 study tables around.

"This place is amazing." namamangha kong pahayag sa kanya while I'm looking up to the books.
