Chapter 19 - Wanting her

LUCIAN:

I got out of the bathroom freshly showered to see her curled up on the bed, facing the wall away from me. I watched her for a moment but she didn't move, with her hair on her face.

Walking towards her, I got on the bed and pulled her on my chest. I stared at her but she still wouldn't look at me or even try to acknowledge my presence.

"Babe... look at me.” I coerced but she still wouldn't bulge.

Sighing, I flipped us over so she was lying on her back and I was hovering over her. She shut her eyes so as to not see me. But I wasn't about to let her be.

I lowered my head and kissed her hard. At first, she didn't respond but soon, her hands were on my hair as she kissed me back.

Just as it was getting heated, I pulled away and her face fell. My hand shot up to her face and I gently caressed her cheek. She leaned into my touch.

"I want you more than you can imagine.” I assured her.

Fuck! I was minutes away from devouring her.

"You're not ready and your first time should be special.”

It should be with someone that deserves her. Not me.

Her brows furrowed. She was wondering how I knew.

"You have a very expressive face.”

Damn right.

"I want it to be with you.” She said in a barely audible voice.

"Okay.”

At this point, she could drag me to hell and I'd gladly follow her.

She brought her lips to mine and kissed me, flicking her tongue against my lip ring. I kissed her back but pulled away.

"I didn't say it was gonna be now.”

She pouted and I pecked her lips before getting off the bed.

Walking to my closet, I picked a grey hoodie and threw it to her before getting a black one for myself.

I pulled it over my head to see her staring at me with confusion etched on her face.

"We're going out.”

She pulled on the hoodie and her pants from before. Thereafter, she got her phone from the nightstand before grabbing my hand and pulling me out.

I knew what she wanted.

Getting to the kitchen, I got chocolate ice cream from the fridge for her. She grinned before hugging me and delivering a peck to my cheeks.

Thereafter, she skipped outside to my car.

I opened the door and she got in, fastening her seat belt, while I jogged around and got in. She switched on the radio and Sweet but psycho by Ava Max was on.

I rolled my eyes at the lyrics but she was already singing along with a mouth full of ice cream, making me chuckle as I pulled out of the driveway.

I sped out of town till I got to my destination. It was eerily quiet at this time of the night.

Pulling up at the corner of the road, I got out but before I could walk round she was already out of the car. I got a blanket from the trunk, locked the car and stretched a hand to her which she took without questioning me.

It was midnight already.

I pulled her into the quiet forest path and she followed me. The moonlight illuminated our way.

We walked down the path for a while before I heard the familiar sound of water hitting rocks.

Getting to our destination, I proceeded to spread the blanket on the grassy forest ground as she looked at the waterfall in awe.

"It's beautiful.” She murmured, eyes glinting.

"Just like you.”

It's a waterfall. The water looked as if it was glittering under the moonlight. It was nothing special but the sound of the water hitting against rocks was soothing to my ears just like her voice when she speaks.

I liked this part of the forest because it was hidden away from the rest of the forest.

I sat down and pulled her between my legs, circling my arms around her waist.

"How long have you been coming here?" Her voice broke the silence.

"Since I moved into town.”

"How did you find it?” She's so damn curious.

"Was Hiking.”

"I love it.” She turned and gently grazed her lips on my cheek.

After that, we sat down in silence, just watching the water and letting the sound wash over us.

I loved spending time alone with her. If it was up to me, she wouldn't go anywhere.

"Wanna go on a trip? Just you and I.” I whispered in her ear and she nodded excitedly.

For someone that I abandoned on a date night, she was still eager to go out with me.

She trusted me even though she shouldn't.

That was one more thing I loved about her.
