I quickly changed into some clothes, and I knew that there was a conversation that needed to be handled. I dressed myself in a small, strapless, black dress. Some black pumps that Asher picked out. He sat on the bed staring at me looking at myself in the mirror.

"You look beautiful mate" I couldn't help but stare at him with a wide smile. "You think so?" He stood up, and towered behind me, wrapping his arm around my waist. I don't think I loved him more than I loved him. He accepted me for all my confusion and was allowing me to explore myself. "The sexiest, and I am beyond grateful for you." He grabbed my waist and spun me around.

"I love you Asher, not just love. I am hopelessly, and madly in love with your body and soul." Something in his eyes switched, and it was his wolf speaking. Kayla was already waiting for me, and she wore a silver, sparkly dress. I couldn't look her in the eyes, now that my attraction for women is just out there. I was in his face right about now. He had no right to question my authority. "It's your fault we are in this mess Vanessa! You came back when everything was going perfect. I am sick of waiting for you to finally decide what you want and taking everyone down with you. So, I am done." His eyes were watering at this point while telling me this. What on earth does he mean?

"What do you mean you're done?" He walked over to the chair and propped him on there. "I don't want to be part of this kingdom anymore, when I am better dead than here." Did he honestly think that he is endangered because he knows me?

"You hurt me so much, and yet I stand around waiting for you to decide it's me all along. I am never good enough for you. But you are not going enough to be my queen." I couldn't stop myself before my hand hit the side of his cheek. Rage is all that went through my body. "I don't care what you are, you better learn your damn place. You have not once been hurt since in my care. You are mad over a petty fucking heart break. You can never meet the expectations of a king that's why it pained to reject you. You had the chance to move on and yet you stayed around. That is not my problem or will it ever be again. You jump ship when you don't get your way. I was breathing not hearing how much I really hurt him, but I also knew that it was for his own good.

"I am your fucking mate; the goddess chooses me! ME! Yet you choose everyone over me, but not this time. This time Vanessa I Alec Callister rejected you as my true mate. You can fuck whoever you want, but I will get my happy ending. I am leaving, because I can't stand the thought of ever being with someone as shallow as you. Who chooses status over their destiny? I am done with you." He headed for the door, but not right before I grabbed him and slammed him against the wall. It's one thing to reject me, but to disrespect me was another thing. He made eye contact with me showing he was in charge. "You're a boy, who fights when someone plays with its toy. I am being shallow, but I told you what I needed. I was honest. Yet you wanted to be a fucking whore and disrespect your mate. I deserve better. I got better. Leave, and never come back. Because you once meant something to me, I won't kill you. But next time I will. " I released him and shoved my shoulder. He was about to exit the door when I said my peace.

"But Alec, you deserve something better too. I cannot be your friend, when you did every nice thing to get with me and not for me. I wish you well, but again don't show your face again. You have till noon to leave."
