Trapped
A few minutes later, the bell range signaling the end of class. We all stood up to collect our items. Travis and I grabbed our bags, we stared each other down like we were going to engage in high noon shoot out. After some moments he started to back away towards the door.
“After school, there is something I need to tell you” he says as he walks out of class.
I don’t know trust him; this could be a ploy to a trap. Whatever happens, I will fight my way out. I need to remain calm but alert in case he attempts anything. For an Alpha is piece of shit. It doesn’t matter if this is how his father raised him, that is no excuse, he is a grown adult now. He does not have to live according to his fathers barbaric and twisted lifestyle. If he actually went to the Alpha training academy, he would learn a lot about being an Alpha. I am set to go there soon. It was the only way my father agreed with me attending a normal college. I would spend a year in a normal college choosing a major then, later transfer into the Alpha Academy. Everything I can learn in school here, I can also learn there but, father wanted me to have a clear idea of what career focus I wanted in life before attending. A lot of the Alpha academy is military style training, but there’s also college academics as well. According to Dad, they have a lot of combat trainings, obstacle courses that are both physical and mental, warrior competitions, the whole nine yards. It is a three-year program, and it is rigorous. I pray that my Alpha blood is powerful enough to survive. Aside from the fight with Travis and Tyson, I have never been in any physical altercation outside of pack training sessions.
If we’re able to call a truce, I wonder if he would be interested in attending Alpha Academy with me? It will help teach him how to be a proper Alpha. As I think on the idea, I shake my head wondering what virus has crawled into my brain. I have met his family, aside from his mother they are twisted in the head. I don’t care how he might justify it, nothing is ever going to be right about betraying his own mother. There is no redeeming grace, going along with a plot to execute your own mother is the worst crime imaginable.
As I walk the hall to my next class, I see Minerva with a few friends. As I walk by she notices me. She looks me up and down checking me out. I let a bit of my Alpha power show. Not to intimidate but, to show who I am. From what I have seen she clings to Alpha’s. Tabitha told me she clings to Travis a lot and from what I can sense, we’re the only Alpha’s in this school. I let my power exude a bit. I see her eyes light up. She’s eyeing me like a piece of candy now. I am no Travis. Where Travis is a dirty blond with green eyes, tall about 5’9 and lean. Similar to that Smallville Character “Oliver Queen”. I am more styled like Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent if we’re in comparison. I am tall about 6’3, black hair with blue-hazel eyes. Some girls have said I am built. Travis looks like a surfer with abs. I look like I could be a WWE wrestler like “Drew McIntyre.” Yeah, there’s no comparison.
As I continue walking, I hear Minerva point at me, whisper to her friends, they all eye me like I am piece of chocolate cake. She whispers again and they start to walk towards me. I smile and try not to blush as I see each girl grab me by the arm and walk with me down the hall. Minerva is at my right; a different girl is at my left and the third girl is standing almost by hind me pawing my shoulder. I feel like Hugh Hefner right now. I walk into my class. The girl behind me says goodbye as the other two walk with me into class. I prepare to take a seat when Minerva stops me.
“Firstly, Alpha, let Bernice find you a worthy seat, one such as yourself, needs care” she purrs. Bernice goes and finds one in the very back of the room. Some kid with glasses is already there. Bernice snarls at him. His eyes go wide like he’s about to pee himself. He looks at Minerva, collects his stuff and runs away.
“You didn’t have to do that” I tell her
“Of course, I did, an Alpha as powerful as yourself, should have the best available, and not mind yourself with insignificant peasants.” She gloats.
“Miss” I say when she cuts me off.
“My name is Minerva, and this is Bernice, the one that was also your escort was Courtney. We are here to serve you Alpha, in whatever way you need.” She says as he caresses my face. Bernice is pawing my arms. I am looking around the class, the teacher is not here yet, students are pouring in but, not many seem to be bothered. Only a few other wolves that I can sense are lower rank, are eyeing Minerva and Bernice with hate. They look at me with a mixture of curiosity and hatred because I am with Minerva. I hear some thoughts surprised that there’s a new Alpha in the school. I hear mixed thoughts of wondering if I am just like Travis, am I a better person or am I worse than Travis Luthor? I need to show my dominance but, also need to show that I am not Travis Luthor.
“Minerva, I appreciate it but, I will not tolerate any humiliation of humans or lower ranking wolves while I am here!” She stares at me in shock
“Travis and his father always tells us to show our dominance with pathetic humans, that we as wolves are superior?” she questions confused.
“Travis’s family values are antiquated and cruel, speaking as someone who works with the werewolf council, I can tell you, they don’t agree, and neither do I.” She stares at me in surprise. She’s looking skeptically, like she’s not sure how to process this information. I sense a brokenness in her. I see into her mind of all the times Travis had his way with her, saying that it is how all werewolves are, that she needs to serve her Alpha as a submissive for his personal desires. I can see her eyes torn about everything he had told her. She’s been taken by him and his father countless times. I can see her memories. In the beginning she didn’t want it, one time with his father, when she refused, Lucius beat her within an inch of her life. Over time, she began to accept it cause he kept telling her this is her proper place.
“Minerva, I appreciate you offering yourself to me” I tell her.
Her mind clears, she thinks I am accepting her as a submissive. I can see a portion of her mind fills with hope that I will rescue her. She has very little will left. I can see the Alpha in her beginning to die and become a submissive she wolf. When an Alpha wolf bows down like that, they may as well be dead. Alpha does not bow down to anyone. I can see her Alpha blood losing the fight. It’s losing hope. I can see in her mind, she’s been beaten down and broken as a she wolf countless times, told her wolf is rebellious, a renegade, and needs to learn its’ place. If Lucius knew who she trule was, that her family line are Alpha’s, he would kill her. Is that why he killed Verona’s wolf? Is that why he tried to kill the entire family? They’re all Alpha’s? I decide to ponder on that later. I watch her take her seat; she sits right beside me with a smile on her face. We sit through class. This class is a communications class. I ask her what her major is, she tells me she wants to become a software engineer but, her Alpha only gave her permission to be here to be with Travis. That it doesn’t matter what career she wants, her sole purpose is to serve her Alpha, so she’s here as Travis’s personal companion. She tells me with brokenness. I can see in her soul; she hates her life and thinks about suicide at times. She feels trapped like a prisoner.
