Honeymoon Part one
Kai – POV
Waking up next to Leia was an indescribable sensation. My heart was buoyed by her presence and a recent encounter in the soul realm with my late father. He had given me sage advice: cherish every moment with Leia and always be there for Xavier. My bond with both Leia and Xavier was irreplaceable. As these thoughts swirled, I gently caressed Leia's cheek. She opened her sleepy eyes, and our lips met in a brief, tender kiss.
"Good morning," she murmured. She noticed Xavier's empty spot and added, "He must be at training already."
"Seems like it," I replied, climbing out of bed. I had my own training to attend. Staying fit was a priority, and I could feel Leia's gaze as I dressed.
"Your eyes are giving you away, Leia," I teased, catching her naughty stare.
She blushed, retorting, "Am I that obvious?" Her satin pajamas hinted at her flawless figure, becoming even more evident as she stretched and approached me, wrapping her arms around my waist as I combed my hair. "Do we have any work today?" she inquired.
I laughed, "Who wakes up and immediately thinks about work? Leia, you're such a workaholic."
She sighed. "Back-to-back work has been the norm for me. It's not just the tasks, but the continuous problems that hit us without a moment's respite."
"You're right." I met her gaze, getting lost in her ocean-blue eyes. "How about we take a break? Maybe a honeymoon?" I suggested it, hoping to lighten the mood.
Leia hesitated. "I can't just leave Xavier behind and go with you," she replied.
I chuckled, "Who said anything about leaving Xavier out? Leia, I know our relationship is unique. It's polyamorous, and that means including everyone." I tried to convey my sincerity through my smile, noticing her scrutinizing my expression. "I'm genuinely okay with it, Leia. All I want is for us to be happy together."
She sighed, her face softening. "I'm sorry. Even after everything you've said, sometimes I still have doubts."
I cupped her face gently. "It's okay. I brought up the honeymoon because we haven't had quality time together lately. You deserve a break, and what better way than spending it with your two loving partners?"
She blushed at my words, a shy smile forming. "So, where are we thinking for our honeymoon?" she asked, a glint of excitement in her eyes.
"It's a surprise; you won't need to pack any clothes. I've got that covered, too," I said, kissing Leia gently before heading out for training. As I walked into the training area, I found Xavier coaching Eric, helping him hone his skills to reach the proficiency of a Beta. Nearby, the new Gamma, Aldo, was engrossed in his solo practice session.
"You're late, Kai," Xavier remarked with a hint of teasing. I rolled my eyes. Xavier's discipline of hitting the gym at 5:00 a.m. was a habit I once found annoying. However, I'd come to appreciate its merits over time and even adopt it myself.
"Hey, Aldo, want to pair up?" I suggested. He looked up, nodding in agreement. Training with Aldo was challenging; his speed was remarkable. After a while, Aldo and Eric both seemed exhausted.
In contrast, Xavier and I still had energy to spare. We decided to spar with each other, pushing our limits. Eric and Aldo took their leave, heading home to freshen up before returning to their duties.
"Xavier, call our personal pilot and have the Jet prepped for Barcelona. We're taking Leia on her honeymoon," I announced. Xavier froze, his fist hovering in mid-air. "Leia's been under a lot of stress, facing one problem after another. She needs a break."
A grin spread across Xavier's face. "Kai, I've got to hand it to you. I've been racking my brain, trying to figure out what could cheer Leia up. I considered gifts, but a honeymoon sounds perfect for us."
I nodded, "Make sure to order some new outfits suitable for the trip. And I suggest we skip backpacks; they're just a hassle. But remember, Leia's destination is a surprise, so keep it under wraps."
Xavier's enthusiasm was palpable. "I'll make the necessary arrangements," he said, heading off. A surge of excitement welled up in me, eager to share this special time with Leia.

Leia – POV
I found myself alone at the table at breakfast, which was unusual. Typically, my mates made it a point to join me, and while I cherished our shared meals, the solitude was a pleasant change. Usually, our discussions revolved around work and pack matters, but today, the quiet allowed me to savor every bite of my favorite breakfast in peace.
After eating, I decided to tackle some tasks for Blackmoon Corporation.
A couple of hours in, I heard my name being called. "Leia!" I looked up to see Xavier walking into the room. "I thought I'd find you here, engrossed in work. Aren't you getting ready for our honeymoon?"
"Kai mentioned we were leaving, but he didn't say when I needed to be ready," I responded with a slight pout, my fingers continuing to type out an email with instructions for our employees.
"Now you know. We leave in an hour, so get up and get dressed," Xavier said firmly. He closed my laptop, gently pulling me up from my chair. From my wardrobe, he selected a white jumpsuit – sleek and just my style. Xavier always knew how to pick out the perfect outfit for me.
"We'll wait for you downstairs," he said, kissing my forehead.
I quickly changed into the jumpsuit, pairing it with black heels. Gathering my red hair into a ponytail, I added a touch of light makeup.
Descending the staircase, I spotted Xavier discussing pack matters with Eric, while Kai was on the phone with Hollie, delegating responsibilities. It was a typical scene in our household, even on days as unique as this.
"Let's go," Xavier said, noticing me approach the car in the driveway. Kai's smile broadened as he slid into the driver's seat. I took the shotgun seat, and Xavier settled in the back.
"Where are we headed?" I asked Xavier.
"Don't spoil the surprise, Xavier," Kai warned.
Feeling disappointed, I pouted. Xavier chuckled in response. Once flying in the Jet, we sipped champagne, and Xavier began recounting tales from their childhood. He reminisced about how Kai struggled with shifting into his wolf form, growing envious because Xavier quickly transitioned. Kai once resorted to forbidden magic to surpass Xavier's wolf brother, slowing down Xavier's transformation. This allowed Kai a momentary triumph, his grin unmistakable.
However, their mother, Sia, discovered Kai's deceit. As a punishment, she made Kai wear a magical bracelet that prevented him from shifting. Kai's spirits plummeted, but Xavier, unable to bear seeing his brother distressed, hatched a plan. He managed to steal the magic key from Sia's office, releasing Kai from the bracelet's influence. Together, as a show of brotherly unity, they shifted into their wolf forms and dashed into the woods, hoping to avoid their mother's impending reprimand. The bond between the brothers was heartwarming.
The moment the plane touched down, a chauffeur awaited us. The setting sun cast a warm, orange glow over the horizon, but I couldn't yet discern our location. However, the city's architecture and ambiance soon revealed our destination: Barcelona.
"I've always wanted to visit Barcelona! How did you know it's on my bucket list?" I inquired, excitement evident in my voice. Kai flashed a sly grin.
"Did you sneak a peek into my private journal?" I probed, a teasing suspicion in my eyes. Kai feigned innocence.
"It was actually Xavier who read it and informed me about your favorite places and other things you cherish," Kai confessed. My gaze shifted to Xavier, who responded with an unapologetic shrug. In truth, I wasn't upset about them perusing my journal. It chronicled my feelings for my mates and the challenges I'd faced; they already knew most of it. There was no need to shield my vulnerabilities from them any longer.
I was taken aback by its opulence as soon as we arrived at the hotel suite. The wardrobe was filled with brand-new clothes, shoes, and even bathing suits tailored just for us. The centerpiece was a king-sized bed, spacious enough to accommodate all three of us comfortably. However, what truly captured my attention was the lavish swimming pool, its clear waters perfectly complementing the room's white and blue decor. The attention to detail was impressive; it exuded both luxury and comfort.
"You like the room?" Xavier inquired, his eyes searching my face for a reaction.
"Clearly, she does. Just look at how her eyes are shining," Kai chimed in with a chuckle.
Eager to know more, I asked, "What are the plans for tonight? Are we heading out?"
Xavier leaned in, his voice dripping with seduction. "I've made plans that involve us staying in this room all night." His words sent shivers down my spine. The hint of a smirk playing on his lips told me he knew exactly the effect he was having.
Curiosity and anticipation dancing in my eyes, I asked, "And what might those plans be?" My tone was deliberately seductive, and I was amused to see Kai's eyes widen in surprise. Gone were the days when I'd shy away.
Xavier's eyes darkened with intent. "You, bound and at my mercy, while Kai watches. Isn't that a fantasy of yours?" The accuracy of his words struck a chord; he knew me all too well.
Feeling bold, I responded, "Then what are we waiting for?" With that, Xavier's lips crashed onto mine, eliciting a moan that resonated deep within. When we finally broke apart for air, Kai's gaze bore into me, full of hunger and desire. The atmosphere in the room grew palpably hotter, foreshadowing the intensity that was to come.
