Chapter 124

Aiden

Now that I have seen my family, I didn't want to delay any more. Today, I was going to face my wife today. It had broken my heart when Rafe actually came to me so that I can carry him. The pup knows his father. It took Raven a minute to realize that I was at the door.

When she did? She practically flew at me. the pretty faces of my pups.

The woman who was looking after them while Bella was off at work said she thought I was Bella back early from work. She said something about Rafe sensing her like he did me.

She invited me in but I told her I couldn't. I was just here to peak in on the children. I didn't tell her that I was going to be back for them. I didn't need to.

Today the plan was to catch Bella after work before she gets into the car of that man she has been around with. Whatever she thought she wasn't going to pull it off. I should not lie I had gotten so furious when I saw them the first time. the man seemed interested but Bella kept her distance. That was all I needed to know.

After today, my wife and I are going to be back together. It was ridiculous how we got to get to here in the first place. But, not anymore. My yearning heart was about to stop weeping.

It was almost four, and that guy is already here. As always, he goes in to wait for her. that's my que.

Swiftly I go by the car to wait for them both. Dramatic? Maybe a little. I just wanted to see who had the guts to assign himself to my wife. And maybe to scare him a little. There were consequences for trying to claim what's mine.

Time goes by but they finally appear. She is smiling, he said something then she smiled. This got me so furious. I have not been this angry I could remember Bella. My control is tattering towards the edge, I could hold up just this much.

With that control, through clenched teeth I command. "Get away from her."

I must have startled a good number but I did not care. I might have been acting irrationally but I. DIDN'T. CARE.

Bella immediately notices me and her eyes widen before she catches on. the dude makes the mistake of shielding her instead of him. It was like he finally pulled the trigger that was going to set me off and it did.

In no time I was at his throat. In this state I could transform without being aware of it. By the looks on this man's face my canine nails were out. Until I feel I piercing pain on my shoulder, this man had canine nails too.

I growl at him and as I suspected, he growled at me back. This man was a werewolf.

Bella

The moment I heard that dangerous warning, I just knew who it was. I didn't need visual confirmation that it was Aiden who had altered that statement.

Jeremiah immediately got on his defensive that he pushed me backwards in an attempt to shield me. he shouldn't have done that.

People were starting to notice the commotion going on here. At first glance you could see that Aiden had the other man by the throat until I realized Aiden's shoulder bleeding. It was just a little but still I saw it.

I try to approach the duo going on slowly, that's when I see it. Blood on Aiden's fingers. It wasn't his. That's when I realize that this situation has gotten out of hand and if I wasn't quick enough, Aiden might not be able to control himself and ends up with a voice box in his hand.

I look at his features and the tale tell signs were there that he was about to go there.

In three little steps, I go to hug him from behind. Talking to him wasn't going to make a difference. He was about to kill Jeremiah. I wouldn't let him do that in public or in hidden.

He practically melts as his tense muscles relax and he lets Jeremiah go. Jeremiah takes one look at me and nods his head, respectfully he leaves us and boards hs car soon he is jetting out of view.

Jeremiah was a friend, I didn't like that we left off like that but I think he realized it. This was the father of my pups, I would have thought why he tried to hurt Aiden was because he thought Aiden was a threat to me. since I did talk about my husband, he must have been assuming. Then he sees me hug him.

Aiden turns in my Arms, and looks at my tummy. "How long" he asks.

Tears start to form in my eyes, I had forgotten that I was trying to hide my coming child from him but hugging him didn't allow that.

"Seven weeks" I squeak.

His expression is blank at first before he catches on, when he does, his face lightens up brighter than a night sky full of fireworks. He hugs me so tight and whispers, "I love you Bella. I always have and I always will" oh no, my dream.

"I thought you wanted to divorce me?" I ask. Truthfully, I was hurt by those documents. But she shakes his head. He tells me that was Claire's doing but she's no more.

I had to ask him to clarify what he meant by ‘no more' and he told me that she was hunted by the humans. Good for her. she has always been a pain to me and Aiden. She deserved what she got.

Aiden also asked me to forgive him still and I did. With this soft heart of mine I forgave him.

"I want to go make love to you on the clouds wife." He tells me as we head to my apartment.
